Despite not having a reservation, my friend and I arrived right at open on a Saturday, and scored a stall on the 3rd floor. Of note, this places fills up quick, so reservations are definitely recommended. I used my T mobile Tuesday coupon and got 2 hours of golf for the price of one. My friend and I enjoyed our attentive service. Our water glasses were never empty and they took our beer order quickly. Despite the heat, this place was well managed with plenty of large fans. Loved this place! I didn't expect much from the food but it was all very good! My favorite appetizer was the Mac and cheese bites! They were so creamy and good! Visited for the first time last Saturday and it didn't disappoint. Plenty of parking here. Was 97 degrees outside, however it was bearable with having shade from the golf bay and fans on. Place was very clean. We were a party of 4 and enjoyed some alcoholic beverages and appetizers. Our waiter was nice and had come to check on us several times during our visit. Fantastic first experience here at TopGolf University location. Seamless night from check in, to birthday party booking 2 bays for 2 hours, food and beverage service, plus overall cleanliness and room to spread out! We loved it! The whole night was on time, relaxing, and impressive. We had several people in our crew who had never been to top golf, and had never golfed ever before and everybody enjoyed themselves! One small suggestion I would love to see is a locker system for handbags and personal effects at the bays. Great management and staff at this location - would definitely come back! The food was pretty good. The service I was not happy with. The staff was rude & we felt very rushed. After pay $200+ on a group of 2. I felt that our server dragged her feet with coming back over for drinks and she was very rude and rushing us. Stating that she gets in trouble for "vacancy" when we still had time left on our bay that we paid for. When we asked if we could have time to decide if we wanted to add more time after already doing so twice, she said we had to make a decision immediately. Ultimately we decided to leave and take our business and money elsewhere where it would be appreciated and not rushed. It was not packed to where people were waiting for bays to become available so I didn't understand the rush. Either the business model is flawed or it was the service we received. Had a good time at Top Golf in Charlotte for a family birthday party. We scheduled an event for 20 people and it was a very smooth process: booked online, local team followed up to answer questions and address concerns, and they even accommodated us the day of to push the reservation back a bit. Seems like a newly opened establishment. The parking lot was packed but the bar and sitting options were virtually empty at 9:30. We joined a party of 10 who had already ordered drinks and food. We placed our order at one of the bays where our party tees off. My order never came until it was time to leave around 1030. We continued the party on an outside patio and I ate my "nachos". I came with some friends on a Saturday afternoon, and we thankfully didn't have to wait for a bay, although the only ones available were on the bottom level. Our bay's screen was acting strange, because it wasn't showing any of our points as we were hitting the balls. We asked multiple employees to help with this, but the issue didn't get resolved until we were practically done with our time at Topgolf. I guess they were busy, but it's unfortunate that we didn't get to have the same experience as everyone else in terms of tracking where the ball was going and our points. It was basically a fancy, overpriced driving range with food and drink options at that point. It was pretty hot that day, but they keep the bay areas pretty cool with fans and shade, so the weather effects weren't as bad as I thought it would be. Overall, it was a fine experience, but I was a bit disappointed they couldn't fix our bay or relocate us to a bay that was fully functioning. read more

Took the family here to eat since they just opened. We are planning to come back to play another day. We ordered the queso for appetizer and it was surprisingly delicious. However My son's burger was not cooked well and was sent back. We completely finished our food before someone came to apologize for his order. Finally he received a burger however it was the wrong order again. The staff was super apologetic and offered my children ice cream for the inconvenience. NOT A "hole-in-one" experience. Reserved a bay for my bae as she flew in from out a town for and experience that was to say the least, not up to par. They charge a $25 fee to reserve said bay and the kicker is that this price doesn't affect your final total. So you're paying $25 to reserve + another $55 per hour. I get the purpose - I do -- I think this would ultimately make more sense to take that price off the total unless you don't show up for your reservation. When we arrived, there was only a few there, several bays open. It would've saved us money to just show up with no reservation. Regardless, it's a fun place to go if you can afford it. The server was great though and mentioned several people have noticed the same thing I have regarding the charges. Hopefully this helps someone else. read more

Yesterday, I celebrated my boyfriend's birthday in bay 225, with Aaliyah as our server (sorry if I misspelled her name). Everything was going well until the end. As our time ran out, I was still enjoying pretzel bites that had just arrived. Our server came over to clean the table and, without waiting for my boyfriend to respond, took his water. While I was finishing my meal, she placed a cleaning bottle on the table and kept glancing at her watch. When we asked for our check, she rushed us along, saying she needed our table for a reservation and took my drink and food while I wasn't finished. I then approached some other servers to get my tab, only to find out they needed to locate our server. I received a notification that my card was charged without having signed anything or knowing the total. We didn't argue since it was my boyfriend's birthday and only off day from football, but I was disappointed as it put a damper on his special day. read more

First time visiting the university location since the south location is closer to home for me. I visited this location to celebrate a birthday and we had a great time!! All the staff I interacted with were extremely nice and accommodating which we really appreciated. I was a little disappointed that our wings came out lukewarm and there was a camera out on the left side of the field so the points weren't as accurate and some of the game choices were not working but they let us know before starting our game. I didn't send the wings back so they didn't have the opportunity to correct it. Overall we had a good experience and I'd be willing to give them another try soon! read more

It's been a long time since I've been to a topgolf and I had a really good time on my most recent visit. I made reservations online for friday at 11am and arrived at 10:45am and they had a bay ready for me to go. The person assisting me at my bay was Tali and he was phenomenal. Made sure I had everything I needed and had the drinks rolling in. I had an Old Fashion for my first drink and then a Manhattan. Both were every good. After years of my son promising to take me to Topgolf; I finally made it!! A friend visiting from out of state and myself went last night for the very first time. I had an awesome time. Our server Jason in the bar area made everything perfect! Even when our food came out a little cold and our wings were over cooked; Jason made it just right for us. I might not have to drop a review for this place as many of you already know better. This is a cool hangout spot with friends, families or even enemies to sort out their differences on a golf game. Our experience here was very pleasing. With the service from the staff was extra ordinary. Being such a busy spot and so much of crowd the management still managed to reach out to us to check if we doing fine with our orders. And i really appreciate any businesses who goes to their customers to check if they doing fine. Man i took a big bite of that sandwich when the manager came in to check and i still managed to show how good i am feeling, i guess I was born to communicate with eyes. The food was also outstanding, i thought it would be average as i always thought people would go here for golf and on the side they have food too but it should be other way. They have good food plus if you enjoy golf they have that too. I loved their fries the most, chicken sandwich and the wings are highly recommended. Chips and Guac are something that you can enjoy while golfing. Its good for all level, my little one had a blast. Just had to give him couple of golf balls and a wings drumstick. Overall this place was beyond my expectation, i went to give my parents a taste of golf but i realized how good of the food they serve and the price are so decent. You'd think hitting your first hole-in-one would make for one memorable night. Couldn't be more disappointed with the venue and Topgolf for taking what should have been an epic night and turning into such an unenjoyable experience. Spent the night waiting for maintenance to bring me my trophy hole-in-one ball only to find out after 2+ hours that they couldn't find it and would have to get back to me about the member bonus... 48 hours later I get a vm - "please give us a call to talk about your experience with the brown target", which is code for, we aren't going to pay you the $1,000 bonus. Beyond disappointed. Hugh been a few days since providing my information, can you provide an update?? Update! After a few days wait I finally got a response...Topgolf still will NOT be paying out the bonus. read more

What a difference a year makes! We first visited this Top Golf location last year in June 2021 during the soft opening. It happened to be my kiddo's last day of school and the experience was fantastic. Food, drinks (because virtual schooling), service, overall atmosphere...everything was great! Our server even took the time out to write a quick congratulations card to each of my children. To say that we were pleasantly surprised with this level of service with a brand new location would be an understatement. This location had earned our business. Top Golf is not inexpensive, so when the economy is as it is currently extra curricular activities need to provide value and great service... Fast forward to our now annual last day of school Top Golf outing. From the general aesthetic everything appeared welcoming and fine. We were told there was a wait; so we opted to order food at the bar. Bad idea. Empty bar at 2p; but the bartender took 15-20 minutes to greet us and another 15 minutes to bring out drinks. Remember I have children with me so it's three lemonades and my margarita. Which I asked for no salt and arrived with extra salt. No worries. I understand mistakes such as this. As we move into the bay our food is just arriving and my husband cashed out with the bar. Our bay server appears annoyed from the onset that we've already ordered food and drinks. I advise her that it's the last day of school and we will likely order a few more appetizers and dessert which we did. Our appetizers arrived as we were finishing up golfing. Extremely slow to arrive. The pizza cookie dessert never arrived. The server mentioned, "no worries - it's still coming." I reminded her that we were preparing to leave, so we won't be able to enjoy it. We had already closed our ticket; however, she did not remove the dessert that we never received. Ultimately, we spoke with a very unprofessional manager who removed the dessert and proceeded to rush us out of the location stating that they need the Bay and bussing the table where we still had food. No one verified if we were indeed finished... From 2021 to 2022 this experience left me with a negative impression from the bartender, to the server, to the manager. Activities are expensive and I urge anyone to consider overall service when looking to enjoy a fun family friendly outing. Top Golf University missed the mark on what should have been a celebratory feeling. read more

Very expensive food and drinks. We were there maybe 2 hours and with 5 people (2 not drinking alcohol) we spent $560! We were not even tipsy when we left. We had may be 3 beers each and the chicken sandwich plate with fries. They got our order wrong 3 times. Then just left the wrong food on the table and kept bringing items to the table to try to fix the food instead of just making it correctly. We bought the membership when we got there. Went here on a school feild trip and the school made reservations couple weeks in advance and a manager changed our time that we were supposed to be there from 10 AM to 9 AM. We are supposed to have three hours but we only got one. I hate giving bad reviews, however, when you are so stoked about something all day and it is ruined because of a server. We were not greeted for 10-15 mins (cool) but when we were it was a manager then 5 mins later came a server we already were 15 mins into our game we ordered a pitcher and chips. Pitcher took 15 mins and with less then 20mins left of our bay time we decided not to extend and cancel our food. We were so excited to order food and beer and celebrate here but it wasn't a vibe.
