We sat there for quite sometime before we made contact with them and they were out of toilet paper in the women's restroom but the food is decent and the golf is fun. Super fun experience! It's like bowling but you get to swing and hit something instead. All the food was 3.8/5 but our server came to check on us frequently so I appreciated their attentive service. Drinks weren't anything fancy 3/5 and it gets crowded on the weekends like any other place. Saw a couple of bachelorette parties so seems like a great group party idea. Top Golf is a great place for fun on dates or with groups and I am certain that one can easily enjoy themselves if alone too because there are so many different types of golf games and levels within each game to play which help your golf skills on a real golf course. This is more than a five star venue due to the well thought courses, cool interactive technical games, and energetic and attentive staff that serve you from the huge menu of delicious food and tasty drinks. I also want to give a shout out to the fast people who gather the golf balls so quickly on that tractor looking thing so that the players can have the balls to hit so endlessly. I rarely make it out to Hillsboro, but I made the drive to visit Topgolf for a first date! The date was miserable, but my experience playing golf was lots of fun! The staff was very attentive and friendly. I appreciated how their menu has approximate calorie estimates to let me know how utterly unhealthy most options are! I wish they had more fresh, whole food options. The game was enjoyable and the interface was easy to use. They have several different game options, so you can have a new experience each time you come to play. The only downside was that new players are required to pay for a $5 player card. It seems like it should be included in the game price since it is already extremely expensive to reserve the bay and play. If the pricing was less expensive, it would be more enjoyable. We purchased 2 hours of play time, my new player card, and one salad and it was nearly $100. Luckily he paid, but I was shocked! read more

Top Golf is pretty awesome and impressive, I just wish it wasn't so expensive. There is a ton to do there which I really like. Even if you're not into golf, The Bays make it fun to just sit, eat and drink while you watch others. They also have TVs and heaters at each Bay so in the winter you won't freeze to death, and you can watch anything you want while the other person is playing. If you aren't a huge golf player like me they have settings for certain games, like hit all the red marks outs in the Fairway e t c. That makes it a lot of fun if you get bored just driving the ball. I would suggest bringing a pair of gloves though, my hands get pretty beat up when I don't plan ahead. I get a lot of blisters from driving the ball in about 45 minutes. The menu in the bar area is always changing and is nice to have new items. I disliked how you can't ask for a certain sport to be shown on one of the 50 TVs, even if one is showing some ESPN classic that is incredibly boring. I found that to be pretty ridiculous, but whatever. Overall this place is pretty legit I would say check it out. Definitely an experience! read more

First time at Top Golf and a great experience! Upon entry, was met by friendly staff to get me checked in. They happily answered a few questions and quickly got me to my lane. My server was friendly and attentive. Like some of the other reviews, it is a tad pricy. They do offer Military/Veteran discount ! Much appreciated! When we arrived, we were told that the top two floors were rented for private groups and the bottom was story was about a 3 hour wait... One of the worst service and meal experiences I have ever had. I am fully aware that COVID has brought on many issues in the service industry and that there are staffing and supply chain issues currently, but that does not condone the rude behavior of the staff or the quality of the meal here. I ordered queso and a cobb salad here and the queso was most likely boxed from a store and the salad had none of the interesting toppings on it like mentioned in the menu- like a salad from a drive through. After having one meal arrive 35 minutes after the rest of our food and being ghosted by our waiter, the manager was brought over and her name was Tatiana. She was terribly rude, not apologetic, and brought us our bill in full with nothing, not even beers, comped or discounted. I'm sorry but when a dining establishment is empty, there are plenty of staff members standing around, a meal is 35 minutes delayed, and the entire service takes over 2 hours... plus rudeness. Not good... We usually host large 100+ person business events here and will not be coming back. Bummer. read more

I will start with the good, because I like to see myself as an optimist. The topgolf experience itself is a fun one. It's a fun game with nice facilities and good food. It's always fun to eat drink and hit golf balls with good friends. The service, however, left something to be desired for the price you are paying. We got one round of drinks at the start, and didn't see our attendant again until our 2 hours was nearly over. We were a group of 10 people who had never been before, which for a business like this I would imagine is common. The girl who was responsible for explaining how things worked could hardly speak beyond a whisper and we had to repeat to multiple people in our group what she had explained, which cuts into you $45 per hour rental on a Friday evening. That brings me to the price issue we had. They advertise a 10% discount for military and first responders. This was quite a draw for my group, as nearly all of us were in the fire/police profession. IT IS NOT A DISCOUNT! They only allow you the ability to add money to your member card in large increments which ironically add up to the amounts of a full price rental. Rather than give you money back, the "discount" comes in the form of a credit on your membership card toward future play, which is useless if you are like most people who visit for a one time experience. We also had a huge issue with them not knowing how to deal in cash. So bring your cards. Ultimately we did enjoy ourselves, but probably won't go again unless it's big event with friends where we just want to be with those friends and that's where they chose to congregate. If you go, you will have fun, but be aware that the staff is not very helpful and you will need someone in your party that is slightly tech savvy to sort out the computer side of the games. The golfing is fun, and doesn't take any expertise. The cosmo lights look awesome at night. There are three levels of "bays"-booths to swing from- and a full service bar. There are waiters every so often to ask for food from if you choose and they bus the tables as well. It's $35 an hour noon-5pm then $45 an hour after that for up to 6 players. The experience is fun...the service was below average and slow, complete with wrong orders and wrong tab cashed out which should have been noticeable by the wrong card on file. Not to mention despite not having spoons for their customers they still bussed the spoon we had brought and never found it to return to us. They don't allow outside food for events like birthdays and only allow store bought cakes. There is also a $5 membership fee per player. The concept seems fun the extra costs and mistakes make me very hesitant to ever return. UPDATE: after becoming aware of the situation representatives of Topgolf made sure to correct the charges and are working to find the spoon. They were very prompt and genuinely apologetic. Considering the customer experience for the correction truly met/exceeded my typically high expectations I'm inclined to return but may take me a bit to go back. read more

I wish I could do half stars as this is your prototypical average eating establishment. They do have a cool concept with the golf and driving range where you can hit golf balls and eat and drink but we only went for the food. The food was so incredibly average that there isn't much to say about it other than it isn't the worse I have had nor the best. The word mediocre might be appropriate. The other issue is the service and mediocre might be saying it nice. We wanted to sit in the restaurant but it took the person we asked awhile to figure that out. He thought we wanted to sit at the driving range (that I think need to be reserved) Once we got our food the wait staff disappeared which seemed odd as we were the only people in the restaurant area. This is a great spot! Great facility. Great good and even better drinks! We had a blast here. They have different games for different types of players. You can hit it to practice or just play against your friends. Their drinks are seriously great and pretty strong. Their beer selection is on point. You can come here rain or shine which in Oregon, is a big deal! They have go-karting next door so you can definitely make a day of it. The staff was extremely helpful and great to talk to. We didn't like the house Old Fashioned so we returned it. Way too damn sweet. We then ordered an old fashioned (without syrup) and we got the same drinks back. Pretty sure she just gave us our drinks back. :( tasted no different than the first. Was very sweet. Maybe it's our fault or there could've been a misunderstanding. So this review gets 2/5 because of the lame computers. It's not user friendly. It's laggy. It froze 2x during its use. Could not turn off practice balls. Topgolf is great! We went on a Tuesday evening so it was $45 for our bay. We had 6 people so it was about $8 each. First time you go you need to by a membership type card for $5. I love that they had military, police, fire and EMS discounts. It's rare that you find a place with all of them! The food I had was great, a hard cider and avocado wrap. As for playing that had plenty of club choices for both men and woman and had it labeled for how far they can make the ball go. Clean and the staff was nice. First time going and a first time golfer all in one night. It was fun! Packed per usual for a Saturday night, had a 2 hour wait time. Wait times are typical for weekend evenings. We were on the 2nd floor which I feel was a perfect vantage point between the 3 floors for shooting. Had a group of 5 which made the time go by extremely fast. We were there for an hr and a half but it truly felt like 30 mins. Which I guess is good? Time flies when having fun. We ordered the cheese fries, nachos(extremely fancy and not a pile of nachos if that's what you're expecting), the goat cheese salad, the mac n cheese egg rolls - dripping w grease :/, and the injectable donut holes. I would say for price of food you definitely get what you pay for. The donuts were a super cool concept, but very messy. Messy like you barely push on the syringe and the contents shoot everywhere! Not sure why I have been resisting this place for so long. I saw it being built and have heard good things about it, but before today I was pretty meh about it. Finally went here on an overcast Friday afternoon and got a bay right away (no waiting; the bay host told us that is soon to be a thing of the past, as they start a new system on Monday for checking in at the bay instead of waiting to get in a line that goes out the door). There was virtually no one anywhere around us, except for a camo'd-up twosome a few bays down. I know this isn't the norm but it was nice not to be right next to someone as I haven't golfed in quite some time and didn't want to make a complete fool out of myself. There are many games on the cool electronic scorepad thingy to choose from and a TV (with quite a few channels) above it for your viewing pleasure when you're not up at the mat or interacting with the rest of your party. The overhead heater worked nicely and we weren't cold despite it being chilly outside. Service was very attentive (we were checked on several times by various levels of management is seemed), there were no technological glitches, drinks were good and quick to arrive and the food was outstanding. The Spinach Balsamic-Goat Cheese salad is SO good (great flavor combo), and it's enough to eat for like two days. The Mac Daddy Burger is ridiculously huge and also a great mix of flavors and a unique idea. Good prices, too. This is a great concept; I just wish I'd given it a shot (haha get it?) sooner! Astrologically: Aries, you love this place for cuz you can release your tension and aggression by hitting the crap out of the ball. Couldn't even slide a card correctly or use the chip right. The manager on staff was a completely rude and didn't do his job. The place was dirty and bathrooms unsanitary. Whole place was a joke. I'm a terrible golfer but I had a lot of fun at top golf. Basically, if you can make your club hit a ball, you have a chance to get points here - it's not super hard. We went on Mother's Day and it was very, very crowded but the staff was attentive and quick and really nice. They quickly brought waters and I only ordered a white wine, which was $8 - I didn't think that the price for the wine was unreasonable at all. The food at surrounding tables looked great. There was a ton of parking and the location was very convenient - although it's out towards Hillsboro, it's directly off the highway so it's really not out of the way at all.
