The service came around frequently enough despite us being in a far corner. Food was pretty decent. I wouldn't say it was amazing. We had chips and dip, Mac and cheese bites, and a wrap with some tots. My favorite would probably be the Mac and cheese bites. On Tuesdays the bays are half off so it was a little busy. But you do have to walk up some stairs or with a paved area to get to the front door. Service: One word - smothering but acceptable. This was my first time there, so I don't know if it's normal but we got the top floor with the sofas which made the experience a lot more comfortable. Absolutely terrible experience. We arrived on time for our reservation (bay 124), which had inadequate seating (individual chairs) for our group of 9 adults and 2 infants. Despite explaining the issue, the staff ignored our concerns and instead lectured us about the number of people in one bay. After waiting 30-45 minutes and repeatedly asking for help, we were finally moved to a booth (bay 333), only to be seated far apart when we had agreed to take two bays together. It took multiple conversations with employees, and only a kind couple offering their space resolved the situation. We were also told adults 21+ couldn't be at the bar without a bay, which made no sense. Meanwhile, other groups exceeding 8 people weren't bothered, yet staff constantly checked our bay to enforce capacity rules. To top it off, we were overcharged for gameplay we didn't even use at bay 124. By the end of the night, we were beyond frustrated with the petty, unprofessional behavior after spending ~$500.00 as a group, which the employee complained about separating the bill because it was too difficult for her. 1 star, only because 0 wasn't an option. read more

There was a long line of people waiting outside for a booth - I think they had limited availability due to COVID restrictions. Luckily, we reserved a booth a week ago and just walked right in. The angry birds game was super fun and any skill level can play and compete evenly. The staff took the time to explain everything before we started. Last night was my first time visiting Top Golf. And unless I have to go for a birthday or some special occasion that I must be dragged there, I will def never choose to come back to this place. I totally get the allure of this place. Such a cool concept. But my whole first experience was really off putting. We arrived around 8:15 and wanted to reserve two bays. It was about a 1.20 wait. Which was fine. We get it. But confused as we noticed many bays were empty outside. Okay, no biggie. Head to the bar, and no one greeted us despite the abundance of Top Golf employees. After a long time and many employees not acknowledging us or checking in or even making eye contact, I finally walked up to the bar and asked if I needed to place food and drink orders at the bar. The bar tender said he'd send over a server ASAP. That ASAP was def not ASAP. We waited forever. No one ever came. Finally I flagged down yet another guy and he said he could take our drink order but he seemed really preoccupied, irritated, and not wanting to help us. Finally a girl came over and she finished our order but, bless her heart, everything had to be repeated over and over again. Our waitress was super sweet, just...everything in this establishment is so insanely slow and I feel like there is zero training or expectations for good customer service or expediting. I'd understand if this place was quick, grab, and go kinda place but it's not. This place is overpriced for mediocre food and small pours and terrible service. I've worked in so many industries for customer service and as a manager or owner, you need to train your employees and treat customers better. They got our drink orders wrong (mind you, just shots of jameson x 10) so how the bar tender gets that wrong is beyond me. Wrong amounts of drinks came out and then it took forever for the additional drinks to come out. We had to ask three separate people for waters for the table which took forever to come when it finally did. Food took forever to come out. They forgot to add orders so we had to wait even longer for that. Sauces and orders were wrong. Everyone said the nachos were good. I'm sorry. "Fancy nachos" where you get 6 nachos? That's a hard no from me. I would understand and be more patient if it was busy and there was a shortage of staff. But honestly when we were there, it was not busy and there seemed to be more workers than there were even customers. Workers just milling around, chatting with one another, not paying attention to customers. We finally get to our bays (about 50 an hour) not cheap. Our server was a gem, he was lovely. But we paid for one of our bays to end at 11 and they stopped the play early which we thought was absolute BS. I have so much more to say on why I hated my experience here, but my fingers are tired. I'm not coming back unless I have to, for people that I love. Blehhh. Waste of my money, time, and energy. Especially having to drive from Happy Valley. Thanks a lot, for being terrible, Top Golf. What a fun way to spend my Mother's Day. My family and I enjoyed awesome customer service (thank you Logan!), $4 mimosas and yummy donut holes. I highly recommend the "jewel" golf game. I want to start the first review of the year by wishiyall of my fellow YELPERS a Happy New Year. Let's face it, the last 21 months have been less than ideal. Let's make 2022 a happy and safe year Now on with the review. New Years Eve was upon us and it was 8:40 pacific time. We have two young kids so we go with the East Coast New Years. We had a pretty modest grouping at our house. A few close friends and some family. The noisemakers were unfortunately given out now. Needless to say all the kids were making use of them. Eventually we went outside to countdown (don't ask), set off some "fire crackers " and it was over. Around 9:15 I realized that "Next Level Pinball Shop and Museum" was open until 12:30 am. I almost was out the door, but the wife told me that my son wanted to do to Top Golf. I took the hint. I made our reservation online after this was determined. It was super easy. Got there about 9:45 and braved the chilly temperature until the doors opened @ 10. We checked in and were issued bay 305. When we realized it was all the way on the left side I requested another and they let us move to bay 319 in the middle. I set my son up with his own account so we could keep accurate scores. We hit for 90 minutes and just sipped on some agua. I have determined that the food is overrated and overpriced. We had a really good time and I finally reached the blue target. I was able to use my $50 gift card in full and have another for our next visit. read more

An employee named Isiah yelled at my friend, who has hearing loss, saying, "I thought I told you you couldn't eat in here," in a rude, aggressive tone. I made reservations for a group of 5 (a week ahead of time, the max amount of days before you can make a reservation) 3 of which had a birthday the day before and the day after. The service and games were great. Really felt the birthday love for the kids (18,19 and 19) from the staff which was amazing; they made it feel special and like a party! Also most of us had never golfed before and it was a fun laid back experience with games for all skill levels. I just wish with the reservation we wouldve gotten a more choice spot on the upper levels. Also It felt crowded in our bay even though it wasnt super busy. The party next to us had a lot of young ones running around and you really had to pay close attention when getting clubs and golfing. Nothing but praise for Topgolf Hillsboro's summer academy/camp for kids from our family! It was affordable, they fed them lunch (game changer!!), the staff to kiddo ratio was awesome (1:5), and my kids had a blast every day! I was impressed with seeing how the staff interacted with the kids -- today on the last day each coach gave a little speech about each one of their charges and included their accomplishments or progress from the week, a highlight from working together, and described their sportsmanship. I've been to this Topgolf location 3 times now and it's always a hoot! We came here again over the holidays with my family and a couple of them had no golf experience at all. Hitting the targets was tough for them but I was glad they had some new games like Angry Birds that makes it a fun experience for everyone. The bays are always super clean and servers are very attentive. The only thing this time was it seemed like the balls weren't tracking as well as they did before. Not sure if it had to do with the weather as we went on a rainy evening, but that part was a bit frustrating. Food and drinks are just ok and slightly pricey for some options (like the nachos that come with about 8 chips), but overall can't complain too much. Try to go on half price Tuesday! read more

Top Golf is usually good to us but they are really handling this reopening thing poorly. We went this last Friday and not only were they on a limited menu, they didn't have half the things in their menu. This is extremely frustrating because we went there with the intention to get dinner. In reality we just shared some starters. To make matters worse, we ordered a couple additional items and bought 30 more minutes of play time; but never got our food. We tried to walk in around 6pm on a Saturday and when we arrived, there were signs everywhere saying walk-ins were completely full for the rest of the day. We decided to come back to go to the lounge later that night (around 9pm) since the restaurant we were going to closed early. We sat in the lounge for at least 15 minutes and no one greeted us or served us. I even double checked with the front desk before seating to make sure someone would help us. After seeing everyone else get served, we left. We still wanted to golf so we came the next morning as a walk in at 10am (when they open). Fortunately, we were served and given a bay. Golfing was really fun - loved all the technology behind tracking the ball/points. It was then fried and sprinkled with parmesan and parsley, and then dipped with either tomato dipping sauce (which reminds me a lot like pizza) or with ranch. Food is available and drinks. While you're playing, the game will warn you before time is up if you want to extend your time. Your server will also come and remind you as well.
