The perfect amount of people is 3 per bay so if you have a party of 6 I recommend 2 bays otherwise it takes a really long time to get through a game. We had about 2 hours here and it was the perfect amount of time. Bar food and drinks are what you would expect, burgers, flatbreads, and beers and cocktails. All of the servers were very friendly, although it did take a tad long for someone to bring us menus and water in the bar area. While it was a colder day in Houston there were heaters in the space that made it comfortable to be outside. However, you do get the technological benefits because I can guarantee that any golf ranges around here wont come with that, but you can buy neat toys from the PGA store that can do the same thing. I wish they would add the practice round as complementary. The system is so complicated that it was running our time and we had no idea. Apparantly some time ago, they took their best dish off of their menu. I was so in love with their Shrimp and Grits and its gonnnnnne... It's gone I say... We had a party of 8, so we ordered a few items... Queso, Quesadillas, Buffallo Chicken Flatbread, Steak Flatbread, Loaded Waffle Fries... it was cool, but didnt go a long way. I was still a bit hungry so I ordered a brisket grill cheese sandwich with salad. It was okay, but the bread got stale very quickly and the brisket was not seasoned.... so I ordered a side of BBQ Sauce. Perhaps having a side of pico or a special chutney will work for this dish, but cheese and meat on thick bread that cut the roof of your mouth is not it... I finally made it to Top Golf! Starting with the positives: The area was huge and had a really fun adult atmosphere. The first floor had a full bar to order some drinks while you wait for your pavilion to be prepared. The drinks were colorful and tasty but lacked alcohol imo. The golf course was really cool and your group can decide on a course theme to kick off your competition. I suggest wearing gym shoes or something sturdy because it was not as easy as we thought. Some of the cons to our experience was the wait time for a server to help us. Management noticed and accommodated us so just find a staff meme bet if you're being over looked. Today, we visited this location to play for a couple of hours and have lunch. This is the first time a visit a place like this and I enjoyed it very much. The chicken wings and street tacos exceeded my expectations. The food is as good or better than a regular restaurant. Bethany was very helpful and cordial! You can feel when someone wants to provide good customer service. She stopped several times by our bay to make sure we were well taken care of. She also made sure our drinks were replenished all the time. The furniture and equipment, as well as the restrooms are in very good condition. The only suggestion I would make is to make improvements in your website. I attempted to reserve two bays online , but the system didn't allow me. We went for a birthday, (happy birthday Jason:)!) walked up and immediately we were assigned a bay number, there are overhead heaters above the seating area as well as above the tee area. Service was great, someone comes by and asks you if you need help logging in and setting up, and then they send a server over. They are menu less so you scan QR code. Food was decent but small. Overall the reservation and getting set up to play went smoothly. With your tmobile promo code, you also get a complimentary coffee or hot chocolate. Got a bay, staff/server were great. Server was getting off and wanted to close out my tab so she could get her tip (understandable). After the server change I was completely ignored by the staff(because I closed out the majority of the bill and the new server assumed they weren't going to get a significant amount in a tip). I had to leave my bay, walk to the bar and get drinks multiple times. There was a server in an empty bay next to me hitting balls for about a 1/2 hour. He finally came over, said he was my server and asked if I needed anything. I explained to him that I needed nothing from him since I had been getting my own drinks for the past 1/2 hour. I'm not above getting my own drinks, but it eats time from my play. I've had many great experiences here, this was a complete disgrace. They're always busy so skipping the wait is a plus. 15 minutes before your reservation they will text you and ask if you have arrived and then send another text to assign you a bay. The other issue is I didn't understand that I would be charged an additional membership fee as the front desk confirmed I will be paying 1 fee of $5 I was charged 2 fees of $5 allegedly 1 was refunded but dk the receipt given didn't reflect like the refund for the kids meal receipt did reflect the base pay then the refund amount. I'm just proud we went but there policy and practice are different with each waitress and each guest. I'm still confused if starting a tab for everyguest in the dinning area is a thing??? Was I suppose to pay for my son a membership?? Was I refunded for my son's membership properly ??. I'm not a golfer but this place changed my mind. Topgolf has plenty of spaces for small group or a large group. I prefer the fist level floor to brush up my skills. The venue offers plenty of food options for adults and kids. The wings were fresh,hot and delicious. The flatbread pizza is yummy even for a picky eater. On the night we went, the place was crowded. In our group, more people showed up than expected and thr venue accommodated us next to each other. The tables have purse hooks on thr front which was a pleasant surprise for my big bag - yay! If you have young toddlers, it maybe hard to keep them from running around so come prepared with options (coloring, games ect). The venue has overhead heaters so don't worry about cold weather. What a great Birthday time we had.I took my husband here for his birthday and it was the first time for both of us . Usually I would rate this place 5/5 stars. My family and I have been coming here for years, but it seems that lately the service has gone down. Today, we went to have a nice post-Xmas family outing. When we got there, my dad sent me to get a pitcher and a couple of cocktails. When I put in my order, the bartender asked for my ID. That wasn't the problem, what bothered me is that the guy said: "you look young papi" in a very condescending manner. I get that you are busy, but there are better ways to do your job. I think he thought he'd buy more time if he sent me downstairs and then back up, but the only thing that changed when I came back up is that he now had an angry customer + 3 more people ordering cocktails. I wish I left $0 tip, but the afternoon was already off to a bad start and I didn't want to continue it. The other issue that came up is that when we started a new match in our bay, we got kicked out early because apparently, the membership discount only lasts till 5. This must've been a new policy, because we had played till way past 5 in the past. This experience will really make our family reconsider coming to this venue and renewing our membership. I love coming to top golf but today's service was beyond OUTRAGEOUS , 15 minutes into our game we didn't have a server yet and I had to ask an employee to get someone to come to our bay. Beverages took forever to be brought to our bay and after getting our drinks our server wasn't seen until 5 minutes left of our game. The spaces between tables is just too small (and we are in Texas). The green mats are all bumpy and old, they need to be replaced. Fun place for the family. I was going to rent my own bay, just to have extra space, but learned there's a $50 fee to reserve, and this does not go towards your game, food, or any expenses for that matter. It's just a fee to guarantee you get a bay, which I get people pay for convenience; BUT $50 and none of it goes toward your bill? Anyway, there were 18'ish people and we were able to comfortably fit in 2 bays (there were only 6 or so people who actually hit). We ordered several finger foods to share, including pizzas, burritos, quesadillas, and crispy tater tots (see pics). Everything was good.
