Feeling hungry after a long night out? Toppers are open late 1AM during weekdays and 2AM on weekends! I've been here a couple times and their pizza has always been hot and fresh! Their Mac and cheese and sausage / pepperoni are my favorite. The place looks clean, staff is friendly, curbside pick up is available, and if you also want ice cream, that have that too! I do love the Wisconsin cheese that they use. Their pizza is not as salty compared to the other pizza place by six flags and ingredients are fresh. I love how they have vegan options available!

We order for pick up. They had a really good special of their pizzas. The order took about 25mins or so. The food was ready by pick up time. We got the mac n cheese pizza and the new Italian beef pizza. I was a little nervous of how big the cuts of beef were at first glance. But everything was so delicious. The guys at the front also gave cheese and pepper for the road. Great location. I would definitely recommend.

I tried their deep dish vegan pizza and Impossible chicken nuggets. The pizza was really good. It's a little expensive. Service was good.

$57 for 2 small pizzas and some curds, which were gross. Seriously, gross curds. Inedible.

So wrong!! A REAL Chicago pizza is basically a full-blown cheese & toppings filled pie with a thick bottom crust, generous amount of cheese and the sauce piled on top like the grand finale. We stopped at Giordano's in Gurnee and ordered a 14-inch build-your-own w beef, mushrooms, and onions. "Large" apparently means "feeds a small village" because this thing was massive, easily enough for a family of 5!!! Every slice came with that dramatic, slow-motion cheese pulls that make everyone at the table stop talking and start taking pictures!!! The ingredients tasted fresh, the cheese was gloriously gooey, and each slice was hearty enough to qualify as a meal and a half. We also grabbed the mozzarella triangles and buffalo wings bc apparently self-control wasn't invited to dinner. The mozzarella triangles were crispy, cheesy little pockets of happiness, and the wings brought just the right amount of buffalo kick. Both were absolutely delicious and disappeared way faster than they should have. The service was fantastic too!! Drinks never stayed empty for long, and the staff was attentive throughout the meal. We walked out stuffed, happy, and officially educated on what REAL Chi-town pizza is supposed to be!! If you're visiting Chicago, Giordano's is absolutely a must!!!

I hadn't had Giordano's since 2009, and while the pizza still tastes largely the same, I remember…read moreit being better back then. That may just be my palate changing over the years, but I'm giving it a higher rating overall because the majority of my family enjoyed it, and for most of them, this was their first experience with Chicago deep-dish pizza. Pro tip: If you're planning to treat your sailor here after PIR, come as soon as possible after graduation. The restaurant quickly fills up with sailors and their families, which can lead to longer wait times and slower service - and time during Liberty is very limited.

Great flavor, perfectly balanced toppings, and definitely something I'd order again. We also tried the wings. I'd probably skip those next time. The sauce was just okay, and the wings themselves weren't as crispy as you'd expect. They tasted more like frozen wings than fresh. If that doesn't bother you, you might be fine -- but they didn't stand out. Our waiter was attentive, and the overall vibe is classic Quonset -- the smell of pizza in the air, cold beer, and friendly staff. Solid spot for pizza, just maybe not the wings.

I live near here and get a small cheese to go several times a month…read more I may not be there at peak times but for me it's always better to walk in and order and wait for it than to call ahead. Never timed it but it doesn't ever seem like a long wait and the product is a landmark of consistency. 12", $13.50 now. $4.50-$5.50 in the late 1970's. I've lived around here in stretches now and again for 50+ years and this place is always the same as it was when I was in high school. For a small, independent bar-pizza joint, that's really impressive. But this place deserves some kind of a plaque. The small cheese pizza these folks put out today is photo-level consistent with what they put out in 1970. Ordinarily I would accept that I may have a little wishful brain fog about the crust and the sauce and the cheese being identical but that's also what I see when I look at comments. So, I may pick one up this afternoon. What's described as the cracker style crust holds up pretty well but it's still best all-around when eaten in the store. Haven't eaten one while sitting at the bar right after it came out of the oven in a long time but if I order it when I get there, 1 diet Pepsi later I'm walking out the door. That's pretty close.
