Ordered $50 worth of pizza for a small party I had a few months ago. Pizza never showed up. Went to the store and the one guy working in there barely spoke English, he said he wasn't a manager so he couldn't do anything about it. Went back to the store a few days later, there was absolutely no one in the store. Waited about 15 minutes and the SAME guy got out of his car that was parked in front of the store, smelling heavily of weed and walked up to the counter and this time he said he was the manager. He pulled my order up and said that he was really busy the night my pizza never got delivered, and he was unable to answer the phone that night so it wasn't his fault and refused me a refund or replacement. This place is such a joke I will never spend a dime of my money there again, and with how low their reputation has gotten lately, it seems to be par for the course with toppers. read more

Lousy service, order 3 pizzas the next day and they did not have the order. Had to reorder again. Hope the pizza taste good for all the trouble to get it. Had a 10:30 meeting and promised pizza lunch and if the replacement order gets here at noon, it will be way after the meeting for the shop. The only way to get someone on the phone is to press the option for a new order. Then they could not help me and sent me to the manager. Someone answered the phone and asked me to call back in an hour. Way longer time than just doing a reorder. Would not recommend. Will not use again. I agree with Nancy Q review! Oh boy! I have to admit, Toppers is usually one of my favorite pizza chains. Not tonight! Ordered a pizza on their website, and like other chains you can track the pizza. (Which is pretty cool) I ordered my pizza, watched as it was baking (on the app) and saw when it was in the "double checking for accuracy" stage. Then I saw it said, approx delivery would be 8:22pm. That was 15 mins later! Well 8:22 came and went, still in the "double check" stage. 8:30 I called. And they said that they got "smashed" with orders and all the drivers were out delivering.... but my pizza would be delivered in about 20 mins! 25 mins later it showed up. Then (this is hilarious) The delivery guy said "I'm sorry, but I forgot your drink, do you still want it?" I said... I paid for it, so yeah! His next comment was that most people just say skip it! I did still tip him pretty well for a late pizza with an incomplete order.... but I kind of wish I wouldn't have. Actually, I'm pissed at myself for a number of things....1) not asking the guy on the phone if my pizza was just sitting there waiting to be delivered (it was)! 2) Not canceling the pizza when it was going to be so late. 3) For not checking the pizza when it arrived (it was cold, dry and the meat on top was burnt). What a waist of money. Can't believe that they wouldn't remake a pizza that sat under a heat lamp for almost an hour! My recommendation.... skip this location or pick it up. The food hasn't been cooked well and they always are forgetting something!! I asked for my money back because they messed the order up too many times and hung up on me. Poor customer service and only offered to give me rewards for extra marinera sauce for the future. I am disappointed with the company and how they treat regular customers. There are times delivery wasn't on time or drivers were drunk, on drugs and one time food never arrived. I feel robbed from the past orders. Their new vegan options are incredible. I had a meat lovers pizza from here years ago. Thought it was absolutely disgusting. Now as a vegan saw something online about new vegan pizzas at Toppers. Tried the vegan sticks and all the pizzas on hand tossed. They are all sooo good. The buffalo chicken less is yummy, the Korean BBQ is also fabulous. Reading the other reviews, I'm quite surprised. I've always had good luck with these guys. I do like thin crust pizza, so some of the issues others have seen do not apply to me. Having said that, the pizza that I normally order is delicious, always hot, not usually late, and the delivery people have always been nice. The only negative is the price. For that Large pizza, after all the extra charges, it's almost a $30.00 pizza. read more

So I tried to place an order for delivery online and they said they weren't accepting delivery at that time. I then called at 9:30 to see if they could do it over the phone. The person who answered the phone told me they weren't doing deliveries until 10 PM. I told him I would call back at 10. I called back at 10:15 and was on hold until 10:30. When someone finally answered they said "what do you need" and I said I was calling to place an order for delivery. She then told me that they were closed. I told her that the person I spoke to at 9:30 told me that you would be accepting delivery orders by that time. She handed the phone to the person and the guy started yelling at me saying that they decided to close instead of accepting orders. Absolutely terrible service. I ordered carry out from here for the main reason that they were open before 11. Their pizza and bread sticks were good, comparable to most other pizza chains. The prices were about the same as well. Over halfway into our pizza, we found a black curly hair stuck in the cheese, so it was obviously baked into the pizza. I called and complained, they offered to make the pizza over again but I said I didn't want to wait or to get the pizza that day, so I requested an account credit. I called a week later to order again and my entire meal was free, woman on the phone was a little rude. She kept talking to someone in the background without saying excuse me or putting me on hold, so I thought she was talking to me several times. I like Toppers pizza. I love cheese and thin sliced toppings. I like to see the cheese and not have to wade through a bunch of barely cooked vegetables to find a little bit of cheese. Toppers has delicious creamy mozzarella. Love it. I like the deals. I enjoy not having to pay an arm and a leg for a pizza. I especially like the consideration that was shown to me last night when my pizza arrived late. I called first to see if it was on the way. It wasn't. I was told by a very courteous young lady that they were waiting for the driver to pick it up. She apologized twice because of the delay. I said okay. It was a little over a half hour late when it finally arrived and it was cold, we had to reheat it. I know things can happen but there was no call or email saying it was going to be late. I had ordered online at least 2 hours in advance, so I was very hungry, sitting there waiting for it to arrive. I wasn't angry but after giving it some consideration I decided to call and complain. I felt very inconvenienced. The young man on the phone was very courteous, explained they were short-staffed and because of the basketball game they were very busy. However he said " let me see what I can do for you". That made all the difference in the world. That's good business. He was not rude and he was sincerely sorry. His manager got on the line and he too was very apologetic and courteous. I have never dealt with a rude person at Toppers. They did compensate me. A lot of businesses would have just said sorry and that's it. So Toppers you have kept a customer! Thank you for your your kind response to my complaint and I will keep coming back because of that (I would have not stayed for the pizza even though I like it). Ordered Toppers online for movie night with the gang. Estimated delivery time was 8. Waited outside in the cold for 50 minutes. They never called or showed up. I did have a confirmation email. Called to confirm the order and ask where the pizza was. They said that the estimated delivery time is not always accurate and that because they received a lot of orders around the same time, my pizza was delayed. Why would you offer an estimated delivery time if it is not accurate? They said the pizza was on its way. I said okay and went back to waiting outside. Once again, never called or showed up. After another half an hour, we ordered pizza from Domino's because we were starving. We ate Domino's that night. Days later, Toppers still has not called to apologize or give us our pizza. This place used to be pretty decent but now it's riddled with completely negligent staff and management. For the last 4 orders they've messed up or taken far too long to get here. Order #1: The driver failed to bring the sodas we ordered and paid for. Order #2: The driver again failed to bring the sodas we ordered (we let the first one slide because mistakes happen) and when we called the manager the matter got brushed off. Order #3: It took over 2.5 HOURS to get here. Order #4 and Final order: It's now been an hour and 45 minutes since we placed an order, we just got off the phone with them and we were told "it's getting out of the oven now." Are you KIDDING me?! It takes about 2 hours to put in an order?! Zero communication, zero professionalism, zero accountability. Next to Kysers, this is the worst pizza place in Kenosha. Pizza was great as always, but customer service is TERRIBLE. my friend called to order a pizza and was asking about the $20 deal going on, lady on the phone was super short and crabby and was yelling at people in the background. Super unprofessional and didn't want to answer any question, and when my friend was done with her order, the lady on the phone just hung up. No "goodbye" or "thank you" , just hung up. Disgusting.
