Terrible experience every time I've ordered from here. The pizza was cold and hard and so were the bread sticks. Once again, I am reminded why I can't order Toppers in Lincoln. Just had Toppers Pizza in June in Omaha and it was delicious. I don't know what the deal is but something needs to change. Whomever answered the phone was cranky. I had the opportunity to try Toppers as soon as they came to Lincoln. I was extremely impressed and everything was extra cheesy. Fast forward to today I ordered an array of toppers food pizza breadsticks and wings. Absolutely terrible! The wings were cold and dry I should've pulled something out of my freezer instead. The pizza had very little toppings and even less cheese. The breadsticks were an absolute joke. Almost no cheese. With a name like Toppers you think they would top it with something besides nothing. Ordered a very simple order after waiting 15 minutes the guy behind the counter comes out and tells us the "stars" order just came in and our food will be another hour at least. I'm a big fan of this pizza, and having worked in the food industry for about 5 years, I understand closing early if the restaurant isn't getting business, That is something I have only seen at sit down restaurants though. A place like Toppers should stick true to their hours as they are a Pizza place that delivers, and is more a fast paced, fast food type environment. Dear Toppers Pizza, We are extremely saddened that we have to write this review. We were having a fun movie night, and you ruined it. All we wanted was some good pizza, but we got horrible service and terribly cut, subpar pizza. The employee that took our order, and our gracious tip, was certainly confused about our order. We thought we had explained that we wanted to use our Pocket Points for a $7 Large One-Topping Pizza, along with a free order of Toppers Stix (with a purchase of a pizza). Now, we tried to use two free TopperStix coupons and the employee told us we could do that. We went down to the lobby expecting to receive our $7 Large One-Topping Pizza AND our free order of TopperStix. Unfortunately, the TopperStix were nowhere to be found. The kind delivery employee was apologetic and understanding of our situation. She left and promised that we would receive a call from the employee that took our order. Finally, we got THE call from that employee, which started off aggressively accompanied with an accusatory tone. After a couple of minutes of being screamed at by the employee, we finally asked if we could talk with a manager. Without being able to tell our side of the story, we were rudely cut off and accused of lying about our situation. We told them that we had done this before (the $7 Large One-Topping Pizza and the free order of TopperStix), and there were no issues using two separate phones. Mr. Manager then agreed to meet our demands, but was interrupted by the previous employee, saying that we could not "stack these offers" because of their "corporate policies." Throughout this entire conversation with Mr. Manager, we could hear the employee throwing a childish tantrum in the background. Mr. Manager then retracted his offer, much to our dismay. Following this statement, we tried to apologize for our unintentional inconvenience, and were promptly hung up on. We will not be returning customers to Toppers ever again. We are deeply saddened that it had to end like this, but it is clear to us that the love we shared was not mutual. Pizza is good, but not sure if I will use them again for delivery after the most recent time. Placed an order on line to have it not show up. When I called a half hour after it was supposed to arrive, I was told my order was canceled because no one answered when they tried to deliver it. I told them that they must have made a mistake as I received no phone call and was rudely told that they knew their driver had called and that I would have to replace my order and wait another hour for it to be delivered to which I told them that was unacceptable and that to cancel my order. I literally expect to be disappointed when I order Toppers. Either they mess up the order, or they don't deliver it and then when I call to ask when my order will arrive they tell me they knocked on the door and called but I didn't answer (they never actually call/ never knock on the door). On two separate occasions they've done this and it's taken 30 minutes of arguing to get the pizza there late and cold, or get my money back. The staff here also has no clue how to handle a tough situation. After the clock hits 12 all hell breaks loose. I would honestly suggest they close at 12 considering their capability to complete orders past this time is nonexistent. Somehow this place stays in business with all the drunk students they take advantage of by charging their cards and never delivering their orders but I feel this won't last much longer. If negative stars were an option they'd receive them. After being repeatedly disappointed and continuing to give them more chances, I have finally learned my lesson and will not be ordering pizza from them. read more

I wish there was a way to give them 0 stars. We called and ordered around 10 PM last night and they said it would take about an hour. We waited an hour and a half and then called just to get an update, we were very patient since the game had gotten canceled and understood that a lot of orders had come in. They told us the order was out for delivery and would be there within 30 minutes. So we waited another hour and still no pizza. We had a larger order so we were still understanding. We called them again and had to talk to three different people before getting to a manager. By now it's after 1 AM and we don't even want the pizza anymore but they had already charged our card. Finally the manager says that the order was brought back because we didn't answer three attempted calls even though we had never been called. The manager was very unprofessional and very unhelpful, she laughed at the already irritating situation. Very good pizza, but expensive. Ask them who will be delivering to you. Most of the time their in-house delivery staff delivers to you, but sometimes they send Doordash and you might have problems with doordash, using them outside of their app., they will never give you any change back, so if you give them a 20.00 or a 50.00 ...for a ten dollar pizza, they keep 40.00 for a tip. If you ask them to go get change, they refuse and at times become hostile. read more

Best pizza in Lincoln. Hash browns shouldn't work on a pizza, but it does. They offer some truly unique toppings. I asked for extra pickled on my cheeseburger pizza, and boy did they deliver. I just wished the pickles were under these cheese as they tended to fall off. read more

The hour-long wait for delivery was a little off-putting, especially taking into consideration the advertisements I've seen about the place. Add that to waiting an hour and a half and having to call the restaurant to see what happened and told that I didn't answer my phone when they called, and I'm a little wary, especially considering that I can see the delivery drivers leave the restaurant from my place. But they asked me to wait another 15-20 minutes (1 hr 52 mins total), and my order finally arrived. I ordered the Old School Sausage & Pepperoni and wasn't impressed. It had no flavor, which I thought was the whole point of this particular establishment. I mean, it works as a pizza place, but more expensive than the national chains. Very good. It's a greasy pizza, but excellent flavor. Cost is higher but worth it. Don't compare to delivery joints, this stuff is sit down quality, more like Misty Isles and Pie Zano's.
