Awful experience. We placed an order and after 2.5 hours of waiting and trying to reach someone on the phone, I finally reached a staff who told me they hadn't even started preparing our order yet and that it would be another hour at least. I told them to cancel the order. The next morning I looked at my bank account and found they had charged me for the order twice. It took 3 phone calls and 5 days to get my money back. read more

I've been to Toppers twice, both times with my kids. The pizza is pretty darned good and creative, but not so much that the kids are all suspicious. :) I came to say that the staff are second to none. This is downtown, so I can't imaging they get a ton of kids. We went after a movie on a Sunday, and the staff were so great. They gave our kids a basket ball to play with while we waited for our pizza, and brought us their delicious cinnamon dessert bread sticks to enjoy as well. We didn't feel rushed out after we were done; smiles around from everyone. All in all, it's nice to have a place I know I can take my kids when we're downtown that I do not have to worry about (atmosphere, clientele, you name it), and the food can be agreed upon by everyone. read more

I've had Toppers a couple of times. The first time I had it with my roomates it was the bomb. We ordered two pizzas, a meatlovers and a bbq Hawaiian. The bbq Hawaiian was absolutely delicious, I cant believe we ate the entire thing. The meatlovers was good, I still don't understand why so many pizza places in the midwest insist on using ground beef on pizza. The second time we ordered toppers they messed up our order for the Hawaiian pizza and used marinara sauce. The sauce was not as good as last time and the pizza was very greasy. I also found that unless you have a coupon the pizza is very expensive for what it is. read more

I wish I could say we loved it but alas, no. We ordered the sausiago pizza with added pepperoni and extra cheese on thin crust and an order of garlic cheese topperstix. We wanted to head back to our hotel and have a couple of beers after a hot day seeing the state capital and other sites in Lincoln. What we found was pizza with no discernible additional cheese and boneless wings, which we weren't interested in at all. We called to see if they could deliver the garlic cheese sticks but no, our hotel was outside the delivery area. All they would suggest is that if we didn't want to come get them now, we could stop in the next day and pick them up. Not a resolution with a customer service focus but it is what it is. We were already drinking a beer by then and we just don't drive after a beer ... even if it's only one. We did like the thin crust, but felt the pizza was lacking on toppings, and if that's what extra cheese looks like then regular must be naked. Our bill was $31.00 for the pizza and sticks we didn't get, so we thought it was pretty pricey as well. Just not a great experience, and they weren't busy at all as we went in and ordered carry out right around 5:00. I'd suggest opening everything and making sure it's fine before leaving if you get carry out. read more

Me and some coworkers just ordered a couple of pizzas from Toppers, one of the pizzas we received was wrong we proceeded to call them to get the order corrected. The stoner on the phone said he needed to come back and check it to "VERIFY" that it is in fact the correct pizza. A chicken bacon ranch pizza with no chicken, no bacon, and no ranch but an abundance of tomatoes, mushrooms and hamburger. After about 30 mins the stoner calls back with his customer is always wrong mentality and tells us that it is up to us to bring the pizza back for verification. He also dared us to take a bite because he was 99% sure it is correct. Upon closer inspection by the fine culinary wizards they confirmed it was not in fact a Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza. The customer service is exceptionally terrible I have never heard of having to bring the wrong food back to be verified because they know it is correct, or the fact that they said they would come get it and instead called back and made us bring it to them for inspection. read more

I waited 2 hours for my pizza! I had their new nacho pizza and it was horrible. The "nacho" cheese was so processed I could pick it up off the pizza in chunks. My order was not correct either. They used the wrong type of sauce on the pizza, there was no salsa on the pizza, and the onions were in bigger chunks than the meat. I will NOT eat here again. Ordered pizza at 11:45 pm after the Husker game online. Love the online option. Nice. Stated it would take an hour. Guessing they were crazy busy after the game. Was delivered in 35. Again, nice! For the most important part, it was great pizza! Just ordered pepperoni for the kids. Easily the best pepperoni pizza I've had in awhile. They have an extensive list of options for toppings as well as other menu items. Will definitely be eating here next trip to Lincoln. read more

I do not understand why this place has so many decent reviews, because this place is to high for one thing and there pizza does not fit there name. I order pizza here a month ago and it really was so bad, like barely any toppings, no cheese and they call this place toppers, and I mean it was so bad I wanted to call back and ask for my money back. It is a traditional pizza shop. Nothing special. Only what I like was they have many different kinds of dipping sauce I can choose.

Been here twice. Great service and food both times. Reccomend, for sure. Online ordering was a breeze.

I got the wings at toppers today and it just may have been the worst thing that has ever entered my mouth. It literally tasted like a rotten butthole. If I wanted off brand chicken nuggets then I would have gone to Walmart. I think the best thing that toppers offer is their napkins. Not great product for the money. Spent $12 on a thin crust single ingredient pizza and it was overcooked and very short on toppings. Not even worth $5. Also ordered 1 1/2 pounds of the boneless wings. For $20, I expected to be impressed with the flavor. They were dry and the flavor was nothing special. Won't be going back. read more
