You order when you arrive and get a number, sit and wait for food to come out. The negative, Ordered breadsticks but they came out about 45 seconds before first pizza. Pizzas delivered to table without anything to remove them from hot pan. No forks on table, had to search to find them hidden. Aside from that it was a great place. Plenty of TVs if you want to catch a game. Beer and wine on menu too Pizza was excellent and sampled a few while here. Large dinning area and a small outside area if weather is nice to hang outside. Food is always good. Service is always good but because its busy you feel rushed. I went a couple days ago and was helped by Kayla. I did not feel rushed at all, she was so nice and patient when my 5 year old kept changing her mind. Confusing website for ordering pizza and they'll blame you for it being confusing. They won't refund or remake your pizza. They don't care about customers. Just about taking your money and misleading customers and never making it right. All they can say is, "oh well," and hang up on you. Which is exactly what happened. Horrible customer service. I'm writing this as I lay in a mild food coma so I apologize in advance. Here in fabulous Oxnard for business and I'm flying out bright and early at 8 having to be up at 5. Who wants to go out prior to that? So I took the advice of the hotel worker and called up Toppers. I ordered a medium garlic chicken mushroom something (food coma) with bacon. Girl who took my order said about 45 minutes. 25 minutes later, dude shows up with my crack in a box. First, it looked amazing!!!! I tasted it and almost died. It was phenomenal. Even as a medium, I could only slay half of this beast. The toppings were piled to the top of the box. I took my time. Laid out on the couch and could muster a final slice of heavenly pizza down my gullet. Flying back to Miami, I'm a little bummed I've yet to find pizza there that can TOP Topper (food coma). Delivery dude was cool too. Not the normal 18 year old in a Sentra being a tool. Dude was chill and chatted for a few. I'm definitely hitting this place up next time I'm in Oxnard. read more

I'm usually not a fan of fancy pizzas. I still enjoy just a plain cheese pizza or just pepperoni. Well today I figured let's just give it a shot. So ordered half bbq half carnitas and we also got half chicken Dijon and half Hawaiian and a cheese pizza for the little ones. They were all very good. Sad they didn't have calzones but was happy to find a great place in town. We did curb side pickup and it was quick and easy. It helped they have a tent outside with an employee ready to help. The best pizza place in the 805! It really can't be beat. People who move from the 805 and come back to visit have to hit this place first. I'm glad I am close to one. It's a bit pricey on the specialty pizzas but it's worth it. The crust is bomb and the ranch at the salad bar is too good! Pizza is the best in town and just about anywhere else, but the staff have ruined my experience on multiple occasions here. Every time I place my order walking in and I'm paying for my food the cashiers will give me a dirty look when I don't tip them. Why would I tip them they're cashiers? I'll tip the delivery driver every time but not the cashiers that saw me walk in and didn't greet me or acknowledged me while standing there with nobody else in line. I ordered a salad and wasn't offered any cups for dressing or a bag for my items because I don't tip them. I hope management addresses that with the cashiers here. read more

The salad bar was a little expensive for the small bowl you received and the one trip you are allowed. The Ventura location is extremely good and well taken care of but this restaurant in the Gonzalez location has poor quality and service. While the pizzas are somewhat consistent and I am content with the taste they still deviate as the expanded to other locations the quality of those locations greatly suffered and I will not visit the Camarillo or Santa Clarita locations because the service is so slow and the pizza so inconsistent I might as will pop in microwave pizza at home. This location is not being taken care of and the tables are not being cleaned nor maintained the bathroom is always dirty. As shown in the pictures the laminate is peeling off of the tables leaving ingredients cheese inside to rot. As you eat either the laminate starts peeling off or the smell from underneath reaches you as you were eating. And this happens in several tables in the restaurant. This is not sanitary at all Then the service. I understand That some employees are faster than others but if an employee takes seven minutes to take your order for a quick lunch for one person there something wrong. Either the employee does not know how to use the POS system what is not competent enough to handle their station during lunch hour. As I was waiting and watching the person before me get their order taken You could see that she was frustrated as well because she had to repeat her order over and over to the server and then wait for her to slowly plugging the order and finally give her a receipt four minute later. As this was happening someone who I am sure was the manager since he is the only one wearing a black shirt was looking directly at us but did nothing about the situation seeing how long it was taking for this person to take our order. Either the manager is lazy or too stupid to know that he needs to step in and correct the situation because if this happens when it's slow imagine what happens when that same employee is working during a rush-hour. I will not be visiting this location again the Ventura location remains the best out of all of them. read more

I have grown to love the Toppers Pizza Place in Ventura on Main Street and one of the only things I thought could be better there was the space. Well this one has that covered and then some! Its right on the corner of Gonzalez and Oxnard Blvd right by the railroad tracks. Its got plenty of ample parking and is in a nice area. The pizza as always was awesome! We had a pizza with pepperoni and black olives with that yummy white garlic sauce. Even with a soda and beer it all came to under 20 bucks. You cant beat that. And remember they are open uber late...11pm. So next time you are in the mood for some late-night mozzarella these are totally the guys to call. (And remember they deliver too.) 5 stars for the Jalepeno Carnitas Pizza which is the best pizza I have had. Every bite is bursting with flavors punching you in the face telling you "eat more of mee" and then you do! Prices are more expensive than your typical pizza joint such as pizza hut or papa johns but it's so worth it! The other down side is that all the toppers in this area does not deliver to Saticoy so we always have to drive out for Toppers if we're craving it.
