My food is always fresh and made to my requests. I've tried almost everything on the menu and aside from the things I didn't like as far as my personal preferences go, everything was cooked perfectly and never over or under seasoned. This has been my go to for the past 5 years. Every time I try a different place I always come back here. In case anyone was wondering, they do have a fine in option. I've eaten there inside multiple times and they're super sweet the more you come. My kids love this place as well and they have a large fridge where you can grab your purchased drinks from to take and drink at home or dine-in. It's also a family owned business and sometimes some family members are there alone. So, please let's be helpful and mindful of these small family run businesses and let's remember to tip our cooks. I'm sure if business picked up more for them, they'd be able to update the place a bit. Just some food for thought. read more

It was just what I needed when I needed it! I walked in and ordered Sesame Chicken and Fried Rice. The prices were very reasonable and it lasted me two meals! I would recommend take out the seating area isn't ideal for a sit down meal, but I think people expect that when getting Chinese. I will be ordering from them again! read more

Also ordered fried rice and there was nothing fried rice about it and again had a ton of big chunks of onion. This was our first order from here and it will be the last. The egg roll was fresh and crispy on the outside and you could tell what the vegetables were on the inside - in other words, the inside wasn't mushy like most Chinese egg rolls. I also had the egg foo young and it was delicious! The veggies were perfectly cooked and it wasn't greasy. The fried rice that came with it had good flavor. I also ordered shrimp toast. I would give this place at least a 3.5. There are some dishes that are so good and then some that are horrible. The problem is you never know what you are going to get even if you order the same thing every time. So far I have tried several dishes and the only consistent item is the wonton soup. I really caution against the hibachi as well. I could not get past a few bites. Outside of food though, the employees are always extremely nice. The restaurant is always clean and bright. If you feel like dining in, there are plenty of tables. I still recommend this place as it's the best Chinese food around the area in my opinion. read more

Sometimes their food is hit or miss but tonight it was delicious. It's Christmas Eve so they were busy so when I called ahead they gave me the standard "ready in 15-20 min" but it took more like an hour. Which was ok because I didn't get there til almost 40 mins after ordering. We always get our rice spicy and our wings crispy and they were perfect. Today we tried the fried dumplings and shall I say amazing. Also ordered pork egg foo young and that was just ok. Could have been better. They are always friendly and food is always hot. So I had a taste for some bourbon chicken like the kind that you get from the mall food court. The only problem was it was late and the malls were past closed in Richmond. I turned to Yelp and decided to try this place out. The place was empty, but while I was waiting for my food their phone was ringing nonstop receiving cary out orders. I ordered the bourbon chicken combo that comes with pork fried rice and an egg roll. I substituted my rice for lo mein and my egg roll for a shrimp roll which increased my total to eleven dollars even. The cashier was friendly and the food took about 10 minutes to prepare. The chicken was a little tough and the sauce was ok. I did not finish my meal that night but the following day I reheated my food and it surprisingly tasted better. To me Chinese food is that type of food you eat as soon as you get it or you can forget about it because it just can't be saved. Since I wasn't satisfied with the bourbon chicken flavor I craved I knew I was setting myself up for failure saving the leftovers. The bourbon sauce was even better, but still not like the mall. They give you a nice amount of food but i prefer to have vegetables with my meal. I feel like for 11 bucks it is a little pricey considering I only got chicken, noodles, and a shrimp roll when I can go to the mall get all of that with veggies and a drink added for less. I always get our Chinese Food from here. They use to deliver, but since November of 2016, they no longer offer it. STILL, it is worth the short drive to come in and order from this restaurant. The family is always kind, always prepares the food fresh and you are greeted and sent away with a smile, along with good wishes. I highly recommend this restaurant. Once I forgot to tell the owner to add spring rolls and she said,"what about your spring rolls".
