The meat sales seemed particularly good, so we settled up with our waitress and drove across the plaza to the Market. This store is always full of savvy customers, many of them are senior citizens, scooping up the amazing deals. Today was no different, with a lot of grocery cart congestion in the aisles near the bakery and the deli department. The fresh produce department is absolutely stunning and it's brilliant array of colorful fruits and vegetable vegetables. The fresh foods grocer doesn't extreme good job on maintaining the counters and keeping everything moving. I always stop at the in-store bakery department, and today we found a blueberry crumb cake which landed straight into my cart. I have to pause a minute to describe the enormous volume of freshly baked items that you will find here. The array of fresh breads is absolutely staggering. All the old world varieties are being baked fresh every day. And what a delight to find your favorites! And don't forget to stop and see what they have on the reduced bakery shelf! Next stop was the fresh meat case. We found 1 pound packages of bacon for $1.99. I grabbed enough for my fridge as well some to freeze. Then moving onto the chicken, I grabbed about 10 pounds of fresh skinless boneless chicken breasts for $1.99 a pound. Western style pork ribs came in at $1.99 a pound, so those went into my shopping basket. I love the feel of a vintage food market, and this store satisfies my craving! Also I'm a huge fan of their prepared food section. It's just perfect for small families, couples, and singles looking for a restaurant quality plate for not a lot of money. I got 8 deep fried chicken legs for only $4.99. Perfect for the two kids coming to dinner tonight, who never saw a deep fried food they didn't like. But I must tell you about the enormous variety and sheer volume of freshly packaged meals in this area. We especially love the deep fried beer-battered haddock fillets, which are perfect after a few minutes in the air fryer. You are sure see many of your favorites, possibly some dishes your mom used to make for you when you were a kid. Saucy stuffed cabbage, rolls, stir fry's, gravy meatloaf and mashed potatoes, the selection is endless. I am a member of their shoppers loyalty club, which is extremely easy to enroll in and well worth the effort.

So many freshly baked, tasty options, many things you won't find at other grocery stores. For example, they often have Polish treats like the sour cream cheese cake and Placek. They have tasty donuts, cakes, cookies and vanilla pastry hearts. The bakery staff is always kind and have a lot of attention to detail in their work. The fish fry is fantastic as well! Several different options (fried fish, baked fish, shrimp, breaded scallops and combo platters) You get a lot of food for the price and it is always crisp and not soggy. The rest of the store has an old school grocery store look and vibe to it without looking or feeling dingy or outdated. There are often lines for checkout because there just aren't that many registers, but overall, it is a great place for your dessert needs!

They had everything I was looking for and at pretty reasonable prices. The bakery section had some fabulous looking desserts that I would love to come back for in their sushi. Also looked really delicious. When we went there, juice and coffee bar was closed, but I would love to come back and try some Matcha or their berry Chantilly latte. This cake has changed my mind and added something new to my pallet. The cake was delicious. The Chantilly frosting was a mix between buttercream and whip cream. The cake is not overly sweet, was actually the perfect bite. The cake itself was moist, with plenty of berries. It definitely could feed more than 12 and we were cutting nice size slices. A little bit run-down but maybe that helps keep their prices down because they're definitely cheaper than 7-Eleven. It loses a star for the high prices but is a solid 4, and is still there, churning out late-night goodies to college kids and locals, not far from the wonderful Seoul Garden and Black Forest Saddler, a horse-seat shop.
