Tops is Tops, right? I needed to bring a dessert to a party-last minute. Stopped inside because I always see they have themed/holiday/football whatever cakes/cookie cakes up front, was going to grab one of those and call it a day BUTTTTTTTTTTT I decided to just check out the bakery. They had the most wonderful/cutest/designed cupcakes-grab and go. I would assume cupcakes looking like this would have to be preordered-Nope, they were just in the case. I got 2 dozen cupcakes ($27.99), Reese's/ with a Reese on top. Oreo/ w/ an Oreo on top!, the 6 vanilla had a cute butterfly on each cupcake and the chocolate had what looked like little pearls. I was very impressed with the presentation! Note taken-Tops Bakery section has great stuff! Giving Wegmans a run for their money- Plus CHEAPER. (I won't get started on Wegmans $30 Fruit Tart)

Worst bakery ever I had to ask the man to wash his hands,he washing dishes When I picked up I got this

Horrible bakery I ordered a cake for my daughter's bday. The man scrubbing the floor said he was only one there, this was 2pm Saturday. I said I don't need until 9pm.he decided to try himself dirt up his arms,I asked if he would wash his hands, and wear gloves. He put the cake and frosting away. This is what I got Next time I will goto WEGMANS

If it were Trips, you'd be falling over yourself to come here. This Tops seems too often be out of the things that I need. I usually come for kale and oranges. I do like that it's open super late though and it's not too difficult to get to off of Highway 290. They have their own gas station. But then so does your mother. Well maybe not, but she definitely has pumps and knows how to use them. It's easy to fill up at her place.

    Tops pizza new and improved!!

Tops has really stepped up there pizza game!! New and improved recipe fresh tasting ingredients. Has that homemade taste that i love !! Plenty of cheese and for the price it is some of the best pizza around in my opinion.

They pic and choose when to follow the NY Scanner Law. Alcohol purchases are covered by this law and they told me they weren't.

I want to focus my review on a positive customer service experience I had. Recently, I placed a large Meals2Go order through the Wegmans app. When my order arrived, we discovered that one of our subs had been mixed up with a sub from someone elses order. Unfortunately, it was for the one gluten free person in our party- so, she was out of luck food-wise until we could get this fixed. When I called the store, they were apologetic and offered a great solution. The manager on duty offered to drive over our sub for us and managed to get it over to us within about 40 mins. She was incredibly apologetic and included a handwritten note, a tub of regular cookies, and a pack of gluten free cookies too! I appreciate that they went above and beyond to fix what could have been a night ruining issue. Wegmans has always been good to my family over the decades and that incident was no exception. I couldn't recommend it more. Watch the viral concert clip of Tyler, the Creator on YouTube if you need more evidence on why Wegmans is awesome (warning - strong language used).

This is the Wegmans closest to my mom's house, so whenever I'm back in Buffalo, this is my Wegmans…read moreeven though I used to work at the Alberta Drive location. Naturally, I still find myself frequenting this Wegmans whenever I'm back in Buffalo. The Amherst Street Wegmans has a massive parking lot, though you would never know it during the peak hours. Between how popular this store already is and the addition of the Wegmans Wine & Spirits shop in the same plaza, it's usually pretty packed. You might not snag a spot close to the entrance but you'll find a spot. Might I suggest that patience is basically required, as with all things Wegmans. Once inside, I'm almost always overwhelmed (in the best way) by how much there is. Prepared foods, deli counter, meat and seafood, bakery, flowers, produce, frozen foods. You name it, Wegmans has it and they probably have a Wegmans branded version, too. I love browsing the craft beer section and, more recently, the growing selection of non-alcoholic options (Thank you, Wegmans!). Honestly, I can't complain. Yes, Wegmans can feel overwhelming, but now that I don't actually work there anymore, I've grown to appreciate the variety, freshness, quality, and pricing. The things I would do for Wegmans to come to the West Coast... until then, I'll keep savoring every visit to Weggies while I'm back home.

Aldi has been described as a bit of a cult. I work at a store that sells groceries, and yet I have…read moremade a ritual of going once or twice a week to buy my staples, and all the things I probably don't need. Often times at the cart corral I'll pull out my designated quarter from its keychain keeper to find some kind soul has decided to pass it forward with a free cart. If you lock them in, you get your quarter back so technically they're all free, but this vibe of friendliness continues through the store. I've never encountered any rude customers or associates in the years I've been shopping here, which is more than I can say about other retailers. Traffic can sometimes get congested at the entrance during peak hours as shoppers peruse the produce section. Conveniently the sales items are parked on the endcap for easy perusal. The deals on them are always exceptional and end up in my cart. I tend to go through all the aisles, taking far too long in the aisle of shame. Can it really be considered a shame when you see the deals though? I've gotten affordable gym mats, cutting boards, limited buy snacks...everything my heart desires. Well, mostly. There are certain products that seem to sell through more quickly than others. I'm not sure if this is because it's located near a gym (some protein fanatic buying all the sardines mayhaps?) or if it is a supplier issue. There's a Tops across the street which remedies things easily enough if you're in a pinch, but there are alternatives at low prices that make it worth the risk. Many times I've checked Reddit to read a review on a product, whether substitution or a temporary find, and have been guided in the right direction. They also have a doubled quality guarantee where you can refund and replace your goods, which I did once without any problems. The associates genuinely seem to care (I found a wallet on the ground and the cashier put everything on hold to attempt to track the person down before they left the premises) and the lack of music allows me to focus without all the bells and whistles that'll in turn help you save a buck. The self serve is card only, and monitored by the cash accepting cashier. There's bags for sale if you've forgotten yours, or even empty boxes to fill. I'll be back next week, because what can I say? It hits Aldi right notes.
