    "Fully Loaded Nachos"

Paid $24 for the "Fully Loaded" Nachos. Never seen nachos quite like this before, on top of that the price on the menu was less than what we were charged. Do not come here if you are hungry!

Summer salad with goat cheese and berries
    Becca W.

I came here after a day on Torch Lake and it was perfect! They have a beautiful wrap around porch (with heaters), live music, and mostly delicious food. I ordered the summer salad that had goat cheese and berries and a delicious homemade Michigan cherry vinaigrette. However, the music was SO loud and they sat my party of 4 at a giant round table set for 6 and we couldn't hear anything. And the fries we got were cold. They did bring us fresh ones when we said something. But it took a while to flag our waitress down. So, the salad I got was amazing but the music was SO loud and made it hard to enjoy my family...

    Everything Bagel

I'm not sure I've ever given a one star, but then again I'm not sure I've ever had a meal I just couldn't eat. The bagel was stale and the lox was very fishy. Maybe it should be a two star, because I didn't think to follow Anthony Bourdain's rule of never ordering fish on Monday or Tuesday's.

Sophie was wonderful to our group of four. Wedge salad, eggs Benedict, pork belly n eggs all excellent. Yes, we drank them out of Prosecco!

Great breakfast spot located in Elmira. We came here on a Sunday and breakfast is offered all day…read more We were able to pick our seat. It was busy for a Sunday, which is always a good sign. We started off with coffee and OJ. No espresso machine so you're typical cup of joe. For breakfast, we ordered the crab cake bennie, Greek omelette, and corned beef hash. The crab cake Bennie was so good! I ordered a side of avocado too. Looking at other yelp reviews, the crab cake Bennie may have come with hash browns or fresh fruit in the past. My husband ordered the corned beef hash which was so yummy! My mom got the Greek omelette which she loved. The lunch/dinner menu looked so good. Definitely want to come back for the cabbage lasagna and the meatloaf. The dessert menu sounded delicious too. The Guinness chili are cake with Bailey cream was calling our name but it was sold out. Gives us a reason to come back... very soon!

The husband runs the front of the bar/restaurant and the wife runs the back. We had the pierogis as an app and then I had the meatloaf and the wife had spaghetti and meatballs. All was done really well! And the meatloaf had fresh asparagus as a side! We were undecided about dessert, so the wife came out to explain the desserts - we selected the coconut cream cake and it was really good. I would call this higher end north woods bar food which is a nice option compared to other alternatives.

While they seemed somewhat short-staffed this summer, with two designers that were seemingly too busy to return my phone call, the employees that I did speak to were both friendly and helpful. I will go as far to say this is one of my favorite spots I've ever been in the world. I was so happy and peaceful here. Our intention was just to grab lunch, and there aren't many spots in Kewadin. We pulled up and I was immediately impressed. Okay, I was immediately squealing with delight. The nursery was so beautiful. Perfectly landscaped with lots of thoughtful touches. This is more like an oasis you escape to, instead of a retail nursery. The grounds were so enjoyable to walk through. We made our way back to the cafe and I once again was giddy when i saw the antique and gift shop. This place was darling. Great mix of items and gifts- local handmade items, pretty things to look at. The cafe had a great little menu and the most adorable patio. I had the Italian sandwich and it was very good. Honestly, they could have served me a pile of dirt and I would have been just as happy. The tranquil atmosphere was the perfect break I needed on our vacation. It provided me with a wonderful memory that I have very much enjoyed looking back on
