I absolutely LOVE Torchy's. Seriously! I could eat there EVERY DAY. My favorite tacos are the Brushfire and the Dirty Sanchez. Their side items are also to die for. Their queso is the best one I've ever had (I actually order it as a pick up item to bring to holiday parties with me lol). I've been a huge fan of Torchy's since this location opened near my house. The food is delicious, and there are some really creative tacos - my personal favorites are the Democrat and the Trailer Park, which I always get trashy. The street corn is also good, albeit probably not worth the price. This place does get incredibly crowded during lunchtime, so I'd recommend coming in the afternoon when you won't have to wait 15 minutes just to order. In addition, I'd advise against getting takeout. I've ordered to-go a few times, and roughly half the time something is left out of the taco; for example, once I got a Democrat without the avocado. Overall, though, Torchy's is a great place to grab a casual lunch with friends! read more

Service is sometimes a hit or miss but then again, they're usually packed especially on weekends so it's all good. If you're ever unsure on what to get, go for the Trailer Park classy/trashy. I love the tacos here. They're always so flavorful and are decently priced. Eating here is generally really quick and easy since there's tons of parking and the service is quick, despite the fact that Torchy's is always so full! The soft drinks here are a little weird seeing as they're Torchy's own drinks and not the usual, but they're not bad by any means. I'm usually delighted every time I go here because I know I'm going to get cheap and quality food, but today, something was a little off. Something went wrong between the time of us ordering and the time the food was brought to our table; they switched our order with somebody else's. This led to one of our dishes, the Ranch Hand (not pictured), taking forever to come out, and me getting two more Trailer Park Tacos than we ordered and not getting the two Fried Avocado Tacos until later. At first, I couldn't tell that I'd received the wrong order since a fried chicken and a fried slice of avocado can look pretty similar, and our waiter handed it to me calling it a "Fried Avocado". I didn't notice until I took my first bite and tasted the chicken. Sadly, seconds later, a waiter came over and told us about the switch up. Now, I actually really enjoyed the bite of the Trailer Park, but, when my original order came out, it was barely warm, and the refried beans were watery, which looked really gross. It's a good thing I'm not vegan or have special dietary needs, because that bite of chicken could have been a much bigger deal. I know it's an easy mistake to make, but overall, it did take away from this specific experience. Still would definitely go back for the food though! You do NOT want to order from them during COVID-19. I appreciate that they're open, but my guess is that they really shouldn't be. Our food was all wrong, and gross. I cannot believe how often our orders have been messed up over the past three years. I will never order delivery or takeout from them again. I would still eat in the restaurant, because at least that way I can make sure my food is right and doesn't look like cat vomit. If I had written this review yesterday when our food was delivered, it would have been even worse than this one. It was just...awful. Substituted tacos (the gross kind) when they were supposed to call, regular Cokes when we were charged for Mexican Cokes, and the brownies tasted like week-old cookies. I Torchys Tacos! Every single thing I've eaten here is so delicious. They have happy hour drink specials, monthly featured tacos and a secret menu you can ask to see. Their guacamole is so freaking scrumptious! Ask for the creamy poblano sauce and you won't be disappointed. It's great for family's or a casual date. You can sit inside or out. Outside tables have a view of the lake and ducks. The sodas aren't the usual Pepsi/coca-cola products. They're BETTER!! Mind you the only thing I ordered was a bacon egg and cheese taco. The thing that irritated me is that the guy at the register was doing absolutely nothing, no one in line except for me waiting for my food. Might want to do some observations of how your employees interact. Maybe think through how not to have customers slip through the cracks. The tortilla never seems to be warmed up and it feels like our tacos just sit back there cooling down before being brought out to us. I really like the baja shrimp taco the best (lightly battered shrimp with a kick of spicy sauce), the green chile pork taco (carnitas- shredded pork) was a bit dry and lacking flavor, and the mr. pink taco (seared ahi tuna) was flavorful and not over cooked.
