I LOVE Toribos!! That red sauce is amazing and that green sauce is spicy good, made with love. Can't go wrong here.

The food was OK! Nothing spectacular. It was not real hot and there is not much of the rice and beans. The tacos are more lettuce. The service was ok and the restaurant it self needs to be cleaned up. Several tables are dirty and they are not really busy. It was just mediocre.

I had high hopes for the food here, as it looked as legitimate as could be. Ordered: Beef Steak Tacos Enchilada Plate Both were really bland and mushy, had no real kick or spice to it.

Great prices and great food in a clean hole in the wall that is bright orange. Had their biscichittos which were fantastic as well as a adobada burrito and carne asada torta. Got side of their red and green chili to put Christmas in the burrito. Everything was wonderful with my wife living the red chili so much she spooned it off the plate.

So so good. Small place. Wasn't sure if they had breakfast other than burritos but they do!!! Huevos, chilaquiles, etc. tempted to go back for lunch/dinner.

$16 dollars for a "large" menudo and a drink... what a rip.

Wayyyyy over priced for what it is. The food seriously isn't that good. And the portion size for the price is a joke. Never again.

Visiting Taos? Looking for amazing food? Leave Taos and drive out towards the Rio Grande Gorge bridge and stop here for lunch. You'll pay half the price for a better meal. It just snowed and the weather called for soup... the pozole was filled with pork and corn with a bright, delicious, and spicy broth. Don't come in hurry. This hole in the wall demands time to slow down and enjoy the food.

I had the chicken mole burrito which was something new to me. It was very filling but basic and nothing to rave about. I've had better Mexican food.

The food here is excellent! I ordered the chicken chimichanga and my husband got the asada torta that both were delicious!!

She downed them before I could take a pic

Had the breakfast chilequilles and they were very good. Portion was big and filling. Good choice for breakfast or lunch.

Kicked us nearly an hour before closing with other people standing in line to order. No welcoming vibes in this place.

We had breakfast at Michael's Kitchen after it was recommended as one of the places to experience…read moreauthentic Spanish cuisine in Taos, and I'm so glad we went. Our server, Chaniece, absolutely made the experience. I told her I wanted to order some of the most authentic Spanish dishes on the menu, and she came through perfectly. She was knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed excited to help us experience the restaurant. If you have questions about the menu, ask for her recommendations--you won't be disappointed. My partner ordered Martin's Breakfast Burrito, and I had the huevos rancheros. Both were fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we were hoping for. Michael's Kitchen is only open Wednesday through Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., so plan accordingly. We arrived around 9:30 on a Sunday morning and had about a 30 minute wait. It was busy, but the wait was actually enjoyable because the restaurant has several little nooks filled with antiques and artwork by local artists. There was plenty to look at, and the time passed quickly. Taos has many wonderful mom and pop restaurants, but from what I learned during our visit, there are fewer locally owned restaurants serving traditional Spanish cuisine. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try all of them, but I'm very happy we chose Michael's Kitchen. Between the authentic food the welcoming atmosphere and Chaniece's outstanding service, it was one of the highlights of our visit to Taos.

Strong 4 stars. Hubs had the steak and eggs. I had a Denver-style omelet…read more Steak was good but a little fatty, hubs cleared everything else off the plate. Omelet was tasty and filling- slices of American cheese vs shreds was a little unexpected. A cherry on top of the cottage cheese. Literally. That's weirdness yall. But check out the bakery case. 100% the best part of the meal was the pine cone cinnamon role. I'd come back just for that.
