I have been to Torn Label a few times and love it. Monk and Honey is one of my favorite beers in KC. Tacos Valentina, and attached restaurant, can be ordered at the bar and I really enjoy the beer and tacos combo. I have never been in during a busy time so there has always been plenty of seating and staff have been quick to take orders and give great recommendations. I would definitely recommend this brewery if you are in the Crossroads.

Brewery that has a kitchen! I was a little bummed that they didn't have any fish in stock, but there were still plenty of options. I ordered 3 street tacos, Carne Asada, Barbacoa and the Pollo. The Carne Asada was a little tough, but the rest were good. The spicy sauce (not sure what it was, no label with it) they have in the back definitely was needed and it was great after adding the flavor in. Beers were good, but I do wish they would have a Hazy IPA available. Solid spot to hang out and grab a bite to eat with a large space to accommodate multiple party sizes.

My husband has been telling me about Torn Label Brewing, and I finally got to check it out for lunch. I'm so glad I did! The atmosphere is exactly what I was hoping for: a truly chill and welcoming space to hang out in and the service was great! It's so laid-back and not at all what you might expect from a brewery. I ordered the tacos, and they were incredible--fresh, flavorful, and made with a lot of care. It's the perfect combination of great beer and amazing food. I can definitely see why my husband is here all the time!

een a while since I did a Yelp event... and a while since I was trying new micro brews. This staff was amazing and was extremely helpful not only in what they had for beer which was 5 flagship beers and 8 seasonal beers, but also the layout of the place, top things on the menu and so on. They have some fantastic beer. Of course, beer is subjective and I tend to like dark and smoky but my friend who is recently into IPAs also liked his beer so that tells me they are doing well across the board. Taco Valentina is the kitchen that produced the tacos. These were killer! So many great taco flavours. If I had to say a downside... it was parking for the size of the event we were having there. The place was open but the streets and small lots were full.

Torn Label is a beer utopia, along with a great ambience, wonderful Mexican food options, and a super friendly staff. You can't go wrong. Even the Torn Away, an ale crafted after the flavors of a zombie ( the cocktail, not the flesh eating living corpse) was, to my great surprise, quite tasty. Excellent spot to hang out at any day of the week.

Finding the brewery was a little of a challenge since there is no street signage, but for a paper sign on the door. Great space with garage doors for summertime air. Was a little cold sitting by the doors on a cold night, so had to move tables. Enjoyed the beer with diverse flavor options. Love you can start a tab for beer which also allows food purchase at the same time. Staff offered great suggestions and were excited to share their specials and events at the brewery to look forward to. Wish the ordering and payment areas were separate because the servers take so much time to share their product. Created a line with a long wait, on a busy Friday night. Food was amazing, best tacos I've had in KC. Definitely enhanced the enjoyment of the beer. On First Fridays they have a special on 3 mix/match tacos and special taco take outs on Chief game days. Will go back again soon.

We tore up that menu. As a group we tried seven different beers. All were good but our faves were Oro Especial and Cobre Especial. The staff was super kind and helpful. We tried a bunch of the food from Tacos Valentina. Everything was amazing. We will definitely be back

We had a great time here. Enjoyed almost everything we tried (thirteen), with my favorite being the House Brew. It's really tasty. Cool vibe and service, although not warm, was friendly. An owner was there, and we had a great chat and even got a mini tour. Cool space.

We LOVE torn label beer selection is amazing and the food is so good. The inside is super cute with lots of natural light and plants everywhere. We also rented the space out for our casual wedding reception for about 70 people back in March and it was perfect. From start to finish the staff was super helpful, accommodating, and CHILL. We got tons of compliments on the food and drink selections that day as well! The attached art gallery, Studios Inc, also opened up their doors to us and let guests walk around the exhibits as well which was a bonus Special shout-out to Rogelio with Tacos Valentina and Deanna with Torn Label who made us feel stress-free on our big day

Love the ambiance here. Maybe 15 tables, plus bar. The tacos and elotes here are amazing. My favorite is the potato one. The plant wall is eye-catching.

Torn Label just does it right. All the beers are good and the setting is welcoming and approachable. I let the bartender pick my flight. I told him what I like and he picked a great flight that fit all my tastes. The beers paired perfectly with our tacos.

Chill & trendy atmosphere with the most genuine employees! They have a craft beer suitable for all tastes. We got the carnitas fries for an app - highly recommend! Can't wait to come back to try more beers & food.

Great beer selection, and even better offerings from Tacos Valentina. Wish it had more patio space, but hardly a deal-breaker.

Pretty wide variety of beers. The food from Tacos Valentina is varied and fun. The portions might be a little light for the price.

The space feels relaxed and approachable without trying too hard. Big open taproom, easy atmosphere, good energy. The kind of brewery where you can settle in for one beer and accidentally stay for five. Mary behind the bar was awesome right away. Friendly greeting the second I walked in, super knowledgeable about every beer on tap, and genuinely helpful without making anything feel scripted or sales-y. Hospitality matters to me a lot, and she made the experience feel welcoming immediately. I worked my way through quite a few beers: Hop Cuddle, the collaboration with Tall Trellis, their Mexican-style lager, Weathered Wit, Pavers Porter, and the rice lager. Every single one was excellent, but that rice lager was probably my favorite. Crisp, clean, refreshing, incredible mouthfeel -- one of those beers that disappears way faster than you planned. Weathered Wit deserves a shout too. Light tartness, citrus notes, classic Belgian yeast character, ridiculously refreshing. Everything you want from a witbier on a warm day and they absolutely nailed it. (beeradvocate.com) Also, I'm genuinely excited to see breweries collaborating again. Beer feels more fun when breweries are creating together instead of existing in separate lanes, and it's cool seeing that energy still alive in Kansas City craft beer.

They couldn't tell me what kind of coffee they used--a major red flag for a coffee cocktail. The Food (Bay Boy Specialty Sandwiches) They were serving sandwiches from Bay Boy alongside gourmet chips. I grabbed the El Jefe with Sweet Onion Hawaiian chips. The Sandwich: A killer Cuban-inspired build on their signature Dutch Crunch bread. That bread is the real deal--super crispy on the outside and soft inside. Because of the crowds it did take about 20 minutes to get our food but the girl behind the counter was really nice despite trying to serve hordes of celebratory drunkies. The Atmosphere Beyond the beer, the parking lot was full of food vendors and some really cool cars. Definitely worth checking out for the vibes alone!

There is plenty of space to hang out at, and there is also live music on Sundays. I first came to this brewery years ago and had not been back because their beers, though good, were not my favorite. However, I stopped by on a Sunday in December in my quest to find local beers to gift to a friend and discovered that Stockyards had added sour beers to their menu. I am so glad that I came back here because the sour that I tried was amazing, and I had such a fun time hanging out with some cool Packers fans who shared their table with me and watching the game with them. As long as Stockyards Brewing keep making sours, I will be back. If you are a Packers fan, I was told that Stockyards Brewing is your haven.
