We ordered a pizza with three toppings and they forgot the pepperoni! Who forgets pepperoni? This is the second time they've messed up our order and if I'm paying $36 for a pizza (with a generous tip), they should get the order right! I used to go here all the time, but last night was an absolutely horrible experience. I was told 30-40mins and it took 1hr and 10mins to get my food. After ordering over $50 worth of food they're solution was to offer a bottle of soda for free. What was worse, they staggered making the food so much of it that half of the food was cold from waiting for the other food to finish. Just couldn't handle it being busy, what a shame. We got takeout from here the other night, and it was very, very good and relatively inexpensive (our order total was just over $23 for a pizza and 2 subs). We ordered a small plain pizza for our 2 year old son - good, chewy crust, flavorful sauce and plenty of cheese. He seemed to like it - he ate two slices. My husband had an Italian grinder with provolone which he enjoyed greatly except for the raw onions. He's usually not a fan of raw onions, so he'd probably order it without them the next time. I had a cheesesteak with sweet peppers and fried onions. It was FANTASTIC and a good value. For a little over $6, I ordered the whole cheesesteak and had it for 2 meals (it reheated nicely in the microwave the next day). There was plenty of meat on the fresh bun, and a good amount of peppers and onions. I'd definitely order it again. We'll definitely be back. read more

Very Disappointed after reading the reviews. Ordered a Cheesesteak with Extra cheese. I couldn't even see cheese on the steak thank goodness I said Extra! We like their food, which is generally pretty good. But they need to be more careful during the pandemic. They guy in the kitchen who was making pizza had his mask below his nose, with his nose out. Great pizza slices, which I like better than a whole pie. I don't know why, but they always taste better & I feel are cheaper as the slices are quite large. I've had cheese & pepperoni only... prefer the latter, but the sauce & mixed cheeses are so tasty, we don't feel we're sacrificing taste if the pizza is plain cheese. Pretty decent craft beer take-out fridge. My only fuss is if I find a great IPA, they never have it when I visit 1-wk later, so if you find something you like, go back right away & get another 6-pk. They said this is the norm. They also have their own brand bottled soda. My mom is a soda drinker & she said they were very tasty. When wanting a quick slice or 2 & an IPA to take home, they're the best I've had in the Pottstown area. And, Thurs-Sat, they have giant slices for about $1 more. Believe me, 1 slice is big enough for one person! Great pizza & very nice staff of young women working the counter! Nice bonus is they have some outdoor, stone tables, the very pleasant wait staff will bring your order out to you & you can drink your beer outdoors, as well. Several tables have umbrellas, but oftentimes they're still sunny. I like to eat outdoors in the summer, so appreciate it regardless of heat & humidity, even though you're seated next to street traffic. It's not too noisy... you can still carry on a conversation, but as there's a street light at the corner Tornetta's occupies, you'll be stared at by drivers waiting at the light, while dining. Ordered turkey burger for delivery and it was promised within 45 minutes. Delivery was on time the burger was very elegant flavorful and delicious. The fries stayed crispy down to the last fry. Seriously I was totally surprised that a pizza shop can make some delicious pasta dishes as this one!! We had stuffed shells with meat sauce and fettuccine Alfredo it was absolutely amazing. even the salad and garlic knots were really good. On Sunday, 1/13/18 at 4:57 PM we ordered two pizzas. At around 6:20 PM our pizzas arrived late and also cold and soggy! I called and complain about the pizzas and they issued a full credit. The following night we called to use said credit and only offered a 30% credit! We asked to speak to the manager and he wouldn't come to the phone because he was too busy! I've eaten there 3 times and highly recommend the cheese tortilla in alfredo sauce, the linguini alfredo, hot wings and garlic parmesan fries. The lasagna was mediocre. The garlic rolls were firm on each occasion. The tiramisu was creamy and fluffy but not made the way I prefer. I look forward to trying their pizza which looks delicious. I passed this place a few weeks ago and saw "vegan pizza" on their sign so I wanted to give it a try - it's not easy finding vegan pizza locally. Normally I am pretty happy with the pizza and other items I order from Tornetta's which is why I've given four stars. Today however, the pizza was delivered and looked like it was not kept flat during the trip. A lot of the cheese had oozed to one side. When you're paying 2.50 for delivery plus tip, you'd expect better service than that. read more

The food quality has definitely changed, we've ordered a few times recently and have disappointed each time. The prices are reasonable but don't expect major discounts or deals like the 'other' guys in town. The only reason it's a 3 and not a 5 is the service. Typically, you have younger females at the counter who'd are not customer friendly. The same for ordering on the phone. You would think service would be your #1 mission in a tough competitive environment like this but you would be mistaken. Absolutely horrible service. The worst in the entire area. The girl who took my order was downright nasty, as if she was doing ME a favor. We were told 40 minutes for chicken fingers, a burger, and fries, which is already a ridiculous wait for such few items, and when my husband got there he had to wait an additional 30 minutes. So 70 minutes for takeout. We will NEVER go there again. Palermo's on North Charlotte is MUCH better, for much less money. Our order here totaled $28. I hope to spare others. read more
