First time having pizza in PA. We found this pizzeria on yelp and was not disappointed. We order buffalo wings and the supreme pizza. Everything was delicious! The server was very nice. The actual restaurant isnt very big but it has a few tables to dine in. Would definitely come back. read more

4 stars? 5 stars? I don't get these ratings. What exactly are these people used to eating? Fried Chicken Tenders - should be simple enough, right? Fried beyond recognition. Burnt breading, the driest, stringiest chicken I've ever eaten.......well, tried to eat. Most of it went right into the trash can. Margherita Pizza? Me thinks not. Sad that I'd have to explain this to an Italian restaurant, but Margherita Pizza is supposed to be fresh tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, olive oil, etc. What we got was a lame tomato pie. No fresh tomatoes. No mozzarella.........really? Crust smeared with a very bland red sauce. WTH? Seasoned fries - awful! Don't know why we got these? We didn't order seasoned fires. Is this their standard fries? They should give the option of just getting plain fries. Eggplant Parm sandwich - the egpplant itself was fine. But sauce was flat and bland (straight out of a can, I assume?). And the menu says "with parmesan and mozzarella cheese". The sandwich had neither! NO cheese. Almost $8 for few pieces of fried eggplant and a spoonful of sauce? The only somewhat redeeming thing we ordered was a turkey burger. Also dry and cooked to death, but at least still edible. This is actually only the second time ever where we took a few bites of the food received, and literally threw the rest in the trash. The other time was "food" from Argento's. Yes, it was just that bad! If a place can't produce food any better than what I can get myself out of the frozen food section at the supermarket, they should find another line of work......and stop ripping people off! Serve what your menu says you serve! If you list Margherita Pizza, make it Margherita Pizza! If you serve something called "parmesan", put some cheese on it! In the future, we'll DEFINITELY be sticking with Icehouse and/or Little Sicily for our take out Italian. read more

My brother and his fiancé love this place, so they took me here while I was visiting. I have my go to place near my home for my meatball sandwiches and feared I wouldn't enjoy the one at Tornetta's. Wow. I was wrong. It was even better than my regular go to back home!!!! I sampled their fries as well - quite tasty! I had a coworker recommend Tornetta's to me... I read a lot of reviews and had my doubts... I am so glad I went with my gut and tried This place out. Limited seating leads to more personal servicing... The food was awesome... and the craft beer bottled selection is second to none. Our server was Shannon. She was awesome and very attentive to our needs... She helped us make our food choices... she was very knowledgeable with the beer IPAs and helped with our selection... My family orders food from Tornetta's often, and we've never been disappointed. For a small place, the atmosphere and service are awesome. I've only eat in once, and we had a fantastic experience. I love the Bada Bing Burger--it has spinach, roasted red peppers, and pesto. Their fries, sandwiches, and pizzas are all great. Delivery was a little slow the one time we got it (it was probably a busy night), and they forgot coleslaw with a sandwich once, but it was easily overlooked because the food is so good! read more

Their food is good but their service is ridiculously slow!! On a Sunday night place is empty and I order food over the phone . They said 20-30 minutes for a pick up order . I came to pick it up in 35 minutes and have been sitting here for 20 more minutes and still waiting for my "20-30 minute pick up" order . This has happened to me more then once! If they are backed up just say so tell me an hour and that would be fine instead of wasting my time sitting and waiting. We recently hosted a team dinner for 50 high school boys. Nick provided a cheesesteak bar, bacon Mac and cheese and ceasar salad which the boys all loved the food was delicious the boys were going back for seconds ... Tornetta's food is amazing. Everytime I go there, I want to try something different, but end up with my standby: pizza and wings. It's inexpensive and delicious. I've also had their stromboli, which was pretty good, especially with a little marinara sauce to dip. I highly recommend this place. This used to be our go-to pizzeria in Pottstown, but after the past few orders, I think I will pass and give someone else a shot. For starters, a small cup of cheese whiz dipping sauce on the side runs an extra $1.00. To add insult to injury, you probably won't even receive said cup of cheese when your order is delivered. And what sense does it make to call about it, when you're not seriously going to have them redeliver a cup of cheese and not expect saliva in it. Not that big of a deal, but consider that this is almost commonplace, and the tab is about 9 dollars now. Also, for anybody ordering the chicken sandwiches, make sure to cut it open first and check that it has actually been thoroughly cooked. Imagine your surprise when you enjoy your honey mustard chicken sandwich only to discover that 3/4 of the chicken is almost raw and undercooked. A good waste of $8.25 is what it is. Anyways, the delivery guys are awesome and always assure that the food is on time. Unfortunately, the kitchen lacks the simple talent of doing their jobs correctly some nights and I just can't abide by it anymore. If you're looking for a quick, relatively cheap meal, feel free to give them a try, but as for me, I'd rather stop paying for things that should have been done correctly the first time. read more

I eat lunch here at least once a week-when I don't pack, it's my go to. I usually get a pick up. It's always quick and on-time and the waitress in the front is always super friendly and nice. I am obsessed with their chicken Caesar salad-in fact I won' t eat one anywhere else now, because this place ruined it for me. It's that good that no place else measures up. I had no idea chicken Caesar salad can be this good! Today I decided to venture out and try something new-ranch chicken sandwich. That's what prompted me to write this review-no joke this meal is one of the top 10 best in my life! I eat out at fancy restaurants all the time, so this shocks me-because it's a pizza place. How can they make something sooooo good? It's seriously THAT good! This place also has a nice selection of craft beers and looks really cozy inside. This review is not about their food. The food is ok when your order is correct. Which has only happened a few times. I must have a flag next to my phone number and name. Probably a few words like b*tch, complainer, "tell her we are out of Godfather ingredients", etc. I would not complain or b*tch if they actually got an order right. They make a pretty good Italian hoagie called "The Godfather". I ask for it minus an ingredient or two, and I guess it confuses them so much, that they can't get it right. When calling from my "home" phone to order a Godfather for delivery, they say "Oh, we are out of the ingredients today". But, if I wait five minutes and call from a different phone, they mysteriously now have the ingredients. This has happened quite a few times. I honestly don't know how legal that is considering all of the new laws about refusing services to people. I would not order from there anymore (I found a truly great place for an authentic Italian hoagie) if it were not for the others in my family. I am "out voted" most of the time. Anyway, last night 6/2/17, I called for delivery and the woman on the phone was nice until she pulled up my "account". She was so rude and short, it made me rude and short. And, one again (I think this mistake was on purpose) the order was not correct. I was not home when it was delivered, and I didn't get home until after closing, or I would have called to tell them they screwed up again. One item on the order was for "Traditional Wings" (they serve Traditional bone-in or boneless) mild wings. What did we get? Boneless Hot wings. They didn't screw me over, they screwed a child over. She was disappointed and had to try and wash off some of the sauce. When I order from them, I make sure I am speaking clearly and loud enough to be heard. She even read back the order, which "Traditional Wings" was part of it. I did not call and "complain" that the order was wrong. I always tip the driver well, because it's not their fault the cashier and cooks makes mistakes. I personally will not order from there establishment anymore, but I am sure the others in my family will want to. So, it's going to cost me more because I will be ordering from 2 separate places next "I don't feel like cooking day". I used to love Tornetta's. But, today will be my last. I ordered a chef salad and fried mozzarella. The very small amount of cheese and meats on the salad was bad enough for a bad review, but the measurements of the meat and cheese were even worse. Most of the pieces were no larger than 18th of an inch wide and length..It was too small for a mouse to eat. Literally looked like it was run through a food processor.I called and told them my concern and was told that "people" like to have small (they were microscopic) pieces in very bite. A fork could not even pick them up. Would have to eaten with a spoon. Funny though, they did not cut their cucumbers, tomatoes or onions that small. Also there was 2/3 cup canned or jarred sweet peppers pieces that were very large. They sent a new one out with larger meat pieces but minus the eggs, but still had 2/3 cup sweet peppers. If they can't afford to make the salads like they use to, take it off the menu. For $7.75, I want meat that was not meant for someone's pet hamster..Oh, the fried mozzarella was so soggy, it was dripping something out of it..It was not fried enough and then put straight in take out box, where condensation took place and made them soggy. they looked pretty well fried on top, but the bottoms looked uncooked. I gave them chances after chances when they would not get a hoagie that I ordered correctly, but this was it..No more chances. read more
