You know a drink is good when your friend barely puts the straw in... you look back over and there's only 2 inches of the drink left. LOL We ordered the popcorn milk tea, the mulberry oolong with osmanthus jelly, and the Koan-in milk tea -- all 10/10. The jellies are huge and so slurp-able, which honestly makes such a difference. New location in chino hills woohoo!!! *just a PSA, they have location exclusive teas at each of their locations* Torotea is definitely one of my favorites in this area so I'm happy that they're in chino hills now. Certain tea places have good fruity drinks and some have good milk teas. Torotea is a milk tea kind of place. You have to get their tapiochi. My favorite is the black tea one. If you don't finish your drink this will last until the next day also (unlike boba which hardens in the fridge). They also sell freshly brewed regular tea in a glass bottle and also just a regular tea order. Their fresh teas are a little bit more underwhelming so personally it's not my favorite. The interior is not as cute as the diamond bar one, and it's a little darker and cave like, which is not particularly a negative, but might just be what they're going for (or maybe because it's just soft opening). No changes available, but was made with just the right amount of sweetness. They haven't grand opened yet and still in soft opening but they have their full menu which is great. Love that it's a much easier drive for all the Inland Empire people. There's not much of a wait yet, not sure what the wait will be like once they grand open and more people start coming.. This location is very dark inside, nostalgic early 2000s Hollister vibes. Don't worry the menu is still very visible. Seems like they may have changed the Tapiochi (tapioca mochi) recipe from the last time I've had Toro over a year ago. It's better in my opinion. Tapiochi is more chewier than a snap as before and slightly sweeter than I remember it. Can be kept in fridge overnight and won't harden like traditional boba. Popcorn Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Tapiochi - you can really taste popcorn, milk tea itself is creamy. If you love corn drinks, this one is one to try! If you get it less sweet the Tapiochi will be sweeter than the drink which helps balance it. This was my first time trying this boba place, and I really enjoyed it. I ordered the Cassia milk tea and the Chino Hills exclusive Koan-Im Tapioccino. Both drinks had a very strong tea flavor. The Cassia milk tea tasted similar to coffee, which I typically don't like, but the flavor was subtle enough where it balanced out. Toro is such a great treat whenever I'm in the area! The milk teas are incredibly fragrant and indulgent. The Tapiochi is so unique and so good - I don't like boba pearls, so liking this was a real surprise ! One of my absolute favorite things about torotea is their jellies and tapiochis, which have a very pleasant, chewy texture and are each infused with tasty flavors such as roasted barley and passionfruit. Excited to finally come here. I was impressed walking in the store. It reminded me of a cave feel, almost like being at Antelope Canyon in Arizona, which I find beautiful. The place isn't very big, so there isn't much seating inside, but there is some outside. I ordered two drinks: Jasmine matcha latte and Creme Brulee icemilk with brown sugar tapiochi; both drink were very good, but definitely on the sweeter side. I'll definitely order this again, but cut the sugar down to 50%. Service was great, very helpful and welcome you with a smile. Wish there was a Torotea where I lived. My husband and I drove to the grand opening, it was a rainy day but thankfully the rain had stopped when we got out. I am a ride or die torotea fan. I love teas and this is the closest i can get to a not super sugary tea. I love the fact that instead of boba they do the tapioca mochi. Many talk about the drink quality, others about the ambiance, the vibe ToroTea is known for at their locations, well this Chino Hills location opened up near me so you know I had to give it a try, it's in a small alcove part of this shopping center, tucked away, it would be easy to miss if you didn't know what you were looking for. Right away from entering it clicked and I knew it'd be my favorite location, it's dark, earthy and warm, compared to some of their other lighter themed locations, and I'm all for it. It sets this cool, chill and relaxed mood that you'd want to feel in a tea house. Seating is tight, they've never been big on huge spaces so if you get a bench or a tree stump consider yourself lucky! But the drinks are the main prize here, their milk teas are light, not too heavy, they aren't too sweet and I like mine to be less on the sweet side so I don't load up on crazy amounts of sugar, they have a location special milk tea that was stellar, and my go to is usually the ember milk tea with barley jelly. Torotea is an emergent boba tea spot having three locations now. Our current favorites are the popcorn milk tea with brown sugar tapiochi and the mulberry oolong with osmanthus jelly. Prices are about on par with other fancy schmancy boba spots (they include an online premium of 10% for online orders- FYI) and the one knock is the sweetness level is pretty high here, so it's 50% or less on our orders. It was busy inside and once I got there, a line did form, but not that crazy. I'd never been to a Torotea so I didn't know the popular drinks so I asked for suggestions. They said the top drinks on the left are the most popular on the menu. Although the Dragona was calling my name, I went with the Popcorn Milktea with Brown Sugar Tapiochi. I asked for it less sweet and less of the Tapiochi. My drink was good, but nothing out of the extraordinaire. It did have a popcorn-y buttery taste to it. The inside is super cute! Torotea is worth the hype. I LOVE that the IE is finally getting some great spots that are catered for the youth. It's hip, cool and full of specialty options.. Service is super friendly, even if they do not permit modifications. Most of the staff is happy to let you know about suggestions on their menu. The drinks are super refreshing and brewed to order. The line was a little long so putting in an order took a while but its worth it. They pump out drinks very quickly and they have a decent amount of seating inside and out. Love to see Torotea in my hometown - it's my new selling point for Chino Hills. As a frequent flyer of the Diamond Bar location, was thrilled to see this location pop up and made sure to visit asap. Went on a weeknight and it was buzzing! People were popping in and out. The aesthetic is beautiful, calm, and serene. They've done a great job with this location. There's minimal seating inside so consider yourself lucky if able to snag a seat. I absolutely love the vibe here! It still has that calm relaxing vibe you expect from Torotea but there's a warmth to this location. Feels like you're in a cozy cave. Service-wise, it's everything you would expect. Very friendly staff who are patient and willing to explain the drinks to you and making sure people have the correct drinks. Also, even though they just opened their service speed is awesome. No waitlist and they were getting people's orders in under 5 minutes. Their location specific drink here is the Koan-Im Tapioccino which is their Koan-Im black milk tea with a super unique topping. They blend ice and the Tapiochi which gives the drink a great texture. I also tried their Oojicha Einspanner for the first time and it's a great alternative to their Matcha Einspanner that has become my go-to drink there. It's roasted and chocolatey with their signature cream top. I feel like it's nice when you want a deeper drink and honestly it's so concentrated that when I finished the drink I added water and it became a second diluted drink! I still have to check out the San Marino location but their Tapioccino might make me have to drive out to this location instead of in Diamond Bar! read more

Big fan of Torotea in general and would definitely recommend if you're looking for a refreshing drink. It's a very small shop though so I would only expect to sit here while waiting for your drink. I probably waited a total of 20-30 minutes since there was a line to order too. It's very close to the eucalyptus loop trail and I saw some people stopped here to get a drink then continue on their walk. Osmanthus citrus refresher: 5/5 super refreshing drink.
