One word.... AWESOME. The married couple that own/run this place do it ALL THEMSELVES and take total pride in there work. They actually CARE about you and your bike and saving you money and doing things RIGHT.... So refreshing!!! My experience today.... Im in the middle of no where my bike dies at 430pm on a Saturday. They are open and hook me up with a great reasonable tow service, and Jeff immediately tries to get me on the road again (might be something simple) Its now 530pm, dark out, and he's looking at my bike.... it needs more parts and needs to stay the night.... no biggie... I took my rear wheel here to get the tire replaced. I live in north county but work down in Liberty Station so it can be convenient to drop off/pick up parts and projects throughout the work week. Upon arrival I was greeted by one of the owners. Shop was clean and organized. She was extremely hospitable and noted that her and her husband had recently bought the place. Very friendly and helpful. The work was finished quickly and everything turned out just how I wanted it. I will definitely be back. Good work is hard to find, and when you receive great hospitality with it directly from the operators, everything just feels right. I wish these guys the best of luck with their new endeavor. I was looking for a shop to do routine maintenance and small repairs on my wife's sportster since we moved from North County and our old shop is no longer convenient. A co-worker recommended Lach and we were not disappointed. The shop is owned by a veteran and that military attention to detail is present in the work. The price was fair and I felt as though the work was done methodically if not exactly quickly. I heard of Lach Motorsports threw a friend when I was mentioning how ridiculous these moto shops charge for simple service but I hadn't found another shop that did quality work at a fair price. He worked on my 06 Honda VTX 1300R for the two years and about 15,000 of the 25,000 miles I put on the motorcycle. After I was done with the VTX I gave him a shot at selling it so I didn't have to deal with the hassle and he got me full KBB. first they fixed my bike by cleaning the carbs cost 700 but it was backfiring but ran so i was happy ....then it wouldn't start so i brought it back thinking if its the carbs it would be free or at least discounted first he says 75 to figure it out ..i say ok then he say i have to redo carbs at a cost of 300 then tells me its some other thing and not the carbs but still charges me for the carbs again and another 200 to fix the actual problem ended up having to pay 518.00 so after gouging me i say "how about 500" he says no i wouldn't trust this guy he is unfair and greedy . huge thumbs down! read more

A small, down to earth shop. Owners Jeff and Tina are a great couple to work with. Tina handles the paperwork, Jeff does the wrenching. Easy going place. Tucked away in the industrial area of Point Loma. Jeff does good work. He is meticulous, clean, and very professional. He is knowledgable in what he is doing and does not over charge. His prices are beyond competitive. He has, without a doubt, some of the best prices for labor. He may or may not have the best prices on parts, but considering the service and the labor price, he is one of the best in the area. They also have used bikes in their shop they are selling. Lach's went above and beyond their duty to repair my Ninja. I brought it in after letting it sit for a good long time with gunked up carburetors. The rebuild was fine but the engine still balked at 6000 RPMs. Not one to leave a customer dissatisfied, Daniel proved good to his word and and shimmied up the needle three times on his own time. Found my Bike a Dr. Great customer service and very knowledgable. I have had my chain cleaned lubed and adjusted here. Unlike fbc he actually cleaned the chain spotless. It stopped making noise and felt great. Also had new tires put on here. I shopped around and Lach had a great price on Michelins so I picked those up.
