Because of the cost of the curtains and the fact that they were in excellent condition, I specifically asked the owner, Sam, about potential risks before signing the waiver. During that conversation, Sam told me that pilling was a possibility, but he also stated that he had never personally encountered a situation where a customer's curtains experienced an adverse outcome from the cleaning process. He reassured me that everything would be fine. At no point did he mention shrinkage as a potential risk. That distinction is important because if I had been informed that shrinkage was a realistic possibility, I would not have proceeded with a nearly $400 dry-cleaning service on $900 curtains. I would have simply replaced them. Unfortunately, after cleaning, the curtains no longer matched in length. Panels that previously pooled slightly on the floor are now hanging approximately 3-5 inches above the floor, and the lengths appear inconsistent from panel to panel. In addition, the curtains appear to have been pressed improperly. The fabric no longer hangs straight. Instead, the sides appear narrower near the top and wider near the bottom, creating a noticeable billowing or hourglass effect. When I raised this concern, Sam acknowledged that the pressing issue was human error. I should note that I was unable to pick up the curtains for approximately a month due to a medical emergency. However, the condition of the curtains upon pickup does not change the fact that the shrinkage and pressing issues occurred during the cleaning and finishing process. What ultimately prompted this review was not just the outcome, but how the situation was handled. I spent approximately 20 minutes on the phone with Sam attempting to discuss the issue calmly and professionally. Rather than addressing the specific concerns I raised, he repeatedly insisted that I had been warned, despite the fact that shrinkage had never been mentioned. The conversation frequently drifted into broad generalizations about waivers and customer responsibility rather than the specific facts of what had been disclosed to me before I signed. Sam helped me from the intake and even recognized me during my pickup. He's kind, polite, a real stand up guy running an honest business.

Be careful not to park in their lot if you're not actually visiting the business (or the spa next door), as they have signs all over the place that clearly state that they tow vehicles. Dry cleaning only takes a few days, and hemming took less than a week. I didn't have any firm deadlines, so time wasn't of the essence, but let them know if you do and they can work with you. Keep in mind that hemming and tailoring will require you to change into the clothing on-site so that the tailor can pin the adjustments. There is a restroom in the very back for privacy - a bit tucked away and generally not for public use, but it does the trick. If you're trying to adjust pants or a dress, be sure to bring the shoes that you'll be wearing so that you have a solid idea of how the item will look once adjusted. Prices are a bit on the higher end compared to other small tailor and dry cleaning businesses that I've been to around LA. Tap to pay is your best bet for speed and convenience. The gentleman who owns and operates the shop is personable, efficient and polite. He has a huge fish tank and quite a lot of fun decor.

I called them the next day and they not only looked (which I feel is above and beyond) but found it right away!! It's a sentimental necklace of 20 years. So thankful. Prices are as you would expect given inflation. I will continue making the drive to get my clothes cleaned properly and honestly.

I've needed a good tailoring/hemming place. Being 5'1, the bottom of my pants don't keep getting…read moreripped and stained. I got recommended this place to tailor my prom dress and they did a wonderful job so i came here to try. The owner was so nice and helpful and now ive been back 3 times to about hem all my pants haha. Definitely would recommend!
