The only reason this is five stars is because Yelp doesn't allow me to leave 10! If you are looking for a bar/restaurant where you get excellent customer service with fanta-boo-lous cocktails, this is the spot. This place is not a stereotypical "hotel bar". I wish I knew of this place when I lived in the area. Kayla and Blanca's welcoming demeanor make you feel like you are having drinks or a meal at a friend's house. Only the freshest ingredients are used. Syrups and mixers are homemade. Also, you can hear each other talk without screaming over music.

Had Dinner @ Torrent while in Niagara Falls for work. It has a nice e modern/hip decor. The staff was Super Friendly & Professional. My dish "Gnocchi" was decent & a nice portion. I'd recommend as a nice place to grab a bite especially if you are staying @ the Sheraton Niagara Falls, since it's connected to the lobby.

It's never good when you make a reservation, and then you're told at the door they don't take reservations. But we got a nice big booth. The place is roomy and has a nice big bar. It opens up to the fun touristy Falls Street, so great atmosphere. Live music is a plus. But thankfully, the reason we all go to a restaurant, to eat of course; The food was spectacular. We ordered almost every appetizer there was. All of us thought the Crostini was the best, but they were all good. Beautifully presented. Sadly our bar drinks weren't that great. I had a drink called summer Lovin, gin and grapefruity, not too bad. But my guest ordered 2 cranberry & vodka. The first one was perfect, the second one was just vodka with a splash of water. The staff was not attentive, and seemed confused at times. And no it wasnt very busy. Also we were celebrating a pretty big birthday and told them, no song, no nada. That really sucked. They are only open Thurs-Sun, and The restaurant is New, so I think they just don't have enough experience yet. All in all, we would return, because the kitchen was on point!!

Burger was well done but the taste was great. One sister ordered the soup/salad combo, the soup of the day was a tomato bisque, she said it was delious. The bacon cheddar burger ordered in our party was excellent served with fried onions instead of raw. All in all i woukd come again. Claudia was great.

Chicken was dry but the rest of the bowl was good and flavorful. We also ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl: marinated ahi tuna, coconut rice, mango, sesame edamame, cucumber, avocado, pickled carrots, sliced radish, sesame seeds, green onion, sriracha aioli. I got it decompressed as I have dietary restrictions. Unfortunately the ingredients didn't seem fresh. Mango mushy, green onions brown, cucumbers dried up, carrots brown. We wanted refills on our beverages, but server was busy. By the time drinks were refilled and another pint was brought, we were done with our food. We still managed to tip the server. We were really hungry and disappointed with their food as we picked this place out of many since their Google reviews seemed high. They offered to remake our meals but we had to go.

Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable. The meal always starts with fresh baked bread service that is accompanied by butter, house pickles and either a hummus or garlic confit (in my experience). My mom is gluten free so she was bought her own dish with focaccia and a roll. She was over the moon about that and really enjoyed the focaccia. We all enjoyed every bit of our meal which included our choice if an appetizer, main dish and dessert from a prix fixe menu for $40. Some of our choices included charcuterie, arugula salad, tamarind shrimp curry, salmon and lemon meringue cheesecake. We left with our culinary needs satisfied and our stomachs full... we even had some leftovers. I can't wait to go back again. It's best to make reservations as they usually get fully booked. The menu changes each culinary semester as this is an instructional restaurant.

They also have staff working there that graduated from the program and were hired by the restaurant. This place is fantastic. As soon as we walked in, we notice the ambiance of the entire building is clean and well maintained. The restaurant has an open kitchen concept so you can see much of what is going on "behind the scenes". Upon entering the restaurant, we were appropriately greeted by staff who were very personable, respectful, and informative. The same attentive and personable service was given by the entire staff. We were able to ask questions about how the restaurant operates, being that it is operated by the Culinary Institute and its students and alumni. I'll spare you the details but it is an interesting dynamic. The food was excellent. We went for dinner and while there is a limited menu, the options were varied enough that anyone would be able to find something they will enjoy. This might be the most affordable three course meal I've had this decade. The food was prepared perfectly, the presentation was impeccable, and the service provided leaves nothing to be desired. The entire operation is run calmly and very efficiently. I am happy to have had the opportunity to dine at Savor and it is going on my short list of highly recommended upscale restaurants for anyone looking for a nice dinner at an affordable price. So if you're looking for a night out and don't want to break the bank, go support the students and alums from SUNY Niagara. I doubt you'll regret it at all. You can look up their operating schedules and make reservations online.
