Chilaquiles Batidos o molidos en licuadora.

Los chilaquiles no tienen nada de sazón o sabor, y es puro batideo. Ningún chip enterito.

    Milanesa de res

While I was sad about LP Coffee colsed for good, work bro told me a cheap torta stand opened up right by that area. Hell, I am all about cheap morning eats. Let's go. The stand was located on 11th in between Main and Los Angeles. I have no idea about their hours of operation, but for sure Monday to Friday from 7am to at least 8:30am. If you know for sure, please let me know. Work bro said he tried all the items already and the best was milanesa de res. That was what I ordered. Sadly, due to language barrier, I didn't get milanesa de res. I got jamon con huevo (ham and eggs) instead... For $3 a piece, I wasn't going to complain and tried it anyway. It was delicious especially with a layer of beans on the bread. The star of the order was the hot sauce on the side. It was smoky and packed with flavors. It could probably go well with anything to be honest. Some other day later, I went back and got my milanesa de res. It was indeed way better than the ham and eggs. It came with lettuce, onion, jalapeno, and a piece of avocado. By default they used mayo to make it smoother, but I requested to have beans instead with no extra charge. You can't go wrong with this place! Overall I was more than pleased. Friendly service even though not much was communicated and cheap excellent street food. I would be going back over and over for sure.

Found them today on Main/11th Street in DTLA.

Go for the Ham & Egg with extra salsa. It's berry berry gooooood. Tough thing... I couldn't find it a few days later. Sometimes... food trucks and yelp don't work. Freakin shame.

Good food. Veggie burrito was really good. Wanted a bean burrito but didn't seem be on menu. Service was good and helpful. Ambiance is taco truck good. Nice seating, canopy, condiments, security guard. Maybe even a bathroom with service station nearby! English is good tho Spanish might be more appreciated.

I wish she would've told me she didn't understand me instead of pretending she knows what the fck I'm saying so we can figure it out or get someone to translate. Don't confidently tell me no we don't have it, and I'm like yall have no rice today??, and she tells me no. Just ask me what the fck I'm talking bout shorty. Idk if it's a language barrier but I get a side of rice here all the time. Literally come here once or twice a week and get fkin rice. Today this lady looked at me like I was insane and said they had no rice which is crazy bc what rice do they put in the burrito then. Wasted a 15 min walk just to go home empty handed and start up my car and find another truck.

Misnomer. When I saw the name of this food truck, I thought this might be Central American's "soul"…read morefood, but it was actually US Southern soul food with a little Latin twist. The only Latin American ingredients were tortilla, store-bought chips and their mango salsa (which was good). I like the idea of putting southern food in tortilla for convenient, food-truck dining, but I would expect a bit more blending of the two cuisines with its name. Zora Neale's Special: perfectly seasoned and grilled tilapia with greens (kale) and Mac n' cheese for $12. They serve it in a hamburger styrofoam box, so it looks rather small, but they load it and are very generous with the portions! I couldn't finish it in one sitting. I must say the greens and Mac n' cheese were quite salty, though. 3 Taco Special: your choice of chicken, beef brisket, fish and/or oxtail(!), which comes with store-bought chips and their mango salsa for $12. Each taco is regularly priced at $4. They allow you to order different kinds of meat per order, which is nice, but they didn't have oxtail at this time. :( The beef brisket was good, but again, a tad on the salty side. For sides, I tried the plantain chips and sweet potato fries. The plantain chips were not chips at all, but fried plantains, which were delicious, but we expected chips. The sweet potato fries were crispy and seasoned just right. I also ordered what I thought was watermelon juice, but it was really sugary lemonade with a few pieces of watermelon in it. Again, not what I was expecting. :/ The staff working in the truck was really nice, though, and tried to get orders out quickly.

It's called the Maya-a. The meat is a tangy sweet bbq sauce with delicious tender pulled pork on top of well done mac n cheese and jalapeno cornbread underneath. I'm still dreaming of the next time I can order this deliciousness!!
