Huarache de Asada con cebolla guisada, guacamole salsa y pepinos curtidos

Still a favorite spot! Always has the consistency in flavor. Ordered a Huarache de asada

    Huarache

The best huaraches in the entire world, period. The pickled onions are a must. All their sauces are Very good service. 10/10 hands down.

    Undressed and glorious

Great pastor. Lean and flavorful with a nice snappy aftertaste. The marinade is excellent. Not so much for the Asada. I thought it was a bit dry. The flautas are near perfect. Slathered with cream, cotilla and a pile of lettuce. An excellent choice. Their salsa choices are great too.

*cash only* Quesadilla frita de asada! So damn good! Cashier is pretty nice. I've been pretty lucky haven't had to wait more than 10 minutes for our food! I've had the flautas and they're good but since I've had the quesadilla frita it's all I've ordered from here.

4 tacos, a burrito, and two drinks for only $14!

Street Tacos!! Ok for starters, they have a pretty great menu for a taco truck. With that said, you can choose from burritos, tacos, quesadillas, pambazos, taquitos, and much more. They serve agua de piña, horchata, and canned drinks. The salsa variety goes from two green ones, a red one, to guacamole. We ordered the asada burrito and 4 plain tacos. Umm, yes totally satisfied my craving for street tacos! The meat is fresh and tender. It could use a bit more of flavor but still great. The man who took our order was nice and took the time to explain the two diff chiles they make so definitely make sure you ask for the chile toreado with caramelized onions and the cucumbers with chile habanero. You'll be in for a treat plus they don't cost additionally.

We waited patiently for about 10 minutes because we assumed he might be busy. Since he still didn't respond, we decided to just leave. What made the situation worse was that as soon as we stepped away, he immediately helped the person behind us. That felt very disrespectful, especially since we had been patient the whole time and were not rude at all. It's really disappointing because we actually love the tacos here. They're estilo Jalisco, which is where we're from, so we were excited to eat here. Unfortunately, the bad service alone was enough to ruin the experience. Very disappointing, and we won't be returning.

Of course I ordered the pezcuesos de pollo. The price were very reasonable. I got it to go because I was on my way home. And they neatly packaged everything with plenty of the extras like salsa and toppings. I definitely wanna come back and try their other tacos here or other menu items.

The shrimp was plump and flavorful. What amped up the flavor was the salsa on top which was super flavorful and fresh and not too salty for me. I also liked the creamy avocado on top. This is a food truck, but they actually have a designated indoor seating with ample tables and chairs and even bathrooms! Parking is street parking. Mariscos Jaliscos is a simple, humble and easy going food truck that easily beats any sit in boujee restaurant. Their menu is simple and easy to understand. Mariscos Jalisco is best known for their Fried shrimp tacos however, they have one of the best aguachiles I've tasted hands down. Their shrimp tacos are absolutely amazing with the right crunchiness and soft fried shrimp inside. The sauce that comes with these tacos are jam packed with flavor adding to the overall flavors/texture of the shrimp taco. Hurts to say it but this might be my new favorite shrimp taco in ELA/Boyle Heights area. The service here is quick and friendly. I went on a Friday afternoon and did not find busy crowds at this food truck. Street parking is available and the times that i've visited other food trucks nearby i was able to find quick parking. Its a busy street so you will find people coming in and out of parking spots most of the time. I enjoyed my experience here at Mariscos Jalisco and will be coming back very soon. As mentioned by other Yelper(s), this taco trunk can be found parked in front of the LAC USC Medical Center building. In fact, I remember seeing more than 1 trucks available, but this white Buenos Tacos (easy to remember) truck is the only one that opens late and on the weekend. But please don't quote me on this. They offer tacos, quesadias, burritos, and tortas, but I am only interested in tacos usually. Regular tacos cost $1.25 each, while tacos de lengua cost $1.50 each. I recommend opting for regular ones, as you can get 4 for $5, no change, no mess. I am not even sure why lengua costs more, or if lengua actually tastes better. Shrug. I got cabeza and pastor to go. The cook was very speedy in cooking, and packed everything in foil for me to keep them warm. Limes was cut up and put in a separate bag for convenience. Both tasted very good! Now, if you cannot handle spicy, you may wanna let him know ahead of time, because after eating all 4, my eyes and nose were runny, and my oral cavity in general was burning. It's a delicious kinda burn, but I could do without it. I also enjoyed the toppings such as cilantro, onion, etc. Get everything on it. I didn't regret it at all for doing so! Specifically, cabeza was visibly more fatty but I liked it that way--it was super yummy. Pastor in comparison was drier, but still very well marinated. They tasted good enough, and were cheap enough, for me to come back and try for more. I'll update you guys if I ever buy their other options: azada, chorizo, pollo, and buche. (Btw, all spelling is per menu on the truck. Some look kinda funky, but I don't speak Spanish, so what do I know.)
