Great food and friendly people! Every time I go there, they already know my usual order. #1 with a pastor taco and a asada burrito.

This place was our number 1! Without a fail, our family was there on the weekends for a number of items including chilaquilles, pozole, and my sons favorite was the carne asada tacos. Never have I ever had a complaint, until my last visit on Saturday, December 10. Upon walking in we instantly noticed all the staff were new faces, then when ordering our food the girls private phone rang and she literally walked away to answer it lol. No excuse me, this is important.. nothing. We're human, you need to answer an important phone call we get it! But at least have some manners with it. Then with our drink orders, they handed us our cups just so messy with the drinks spilled on it. I asked for a napkin to clean it up and she let me clean it up and her counters. Never with an apology for the mess, nor a thank you for cleaning her counters. But here's the worst part, when the food came. It was so gross. The carne asada tacos legit tasted like they didn't clean the meat or like it was old. My sons first bite brought an immediate grossed out face & he's not picky by any means. We told the lady and she said this is the only meat we have, want to try chicken? So we said sure. She brings out chicken tacos that are so dry, and taste "chicken-y" if that makes sense. It's like they boiled the chicken in water and threw it on a tortilla. It also came with the biggest serving of onions I've ever seen lol. The pozole was a thick green color, no flavor. Well through our complete dissatisfaction we overheard the table in front of us also complaining about the food and how the staff is rude upon which we heard some lady say "I'm the new owner" so there it is. New owners, ruined the food, & we're really sad about it. Tortilla grill was a staple of our town, a bonding place for my family & I. Will try again in a few months to see if needed improvements have taken place. read more

I originally went to Tortilla Grill because I saw their ad for pozole verde. It did not disappoint me! The servings are large and they include tortillas and fresh vegetable accompaniments. Ok all I gotta say is that I never used to eat menudo at all. I just didn't like it. On a Sunday morning after one night of partying and drinks, my girlfriend asked if I wanted menudo keep in mind I was feeling the after drinks effects in the morning so I thought maybe it would help so I said yes. We ordered it on the phone and went to pick it up. We got home and I tried it and it was the most delicious menudo I've ever tried. It comes with limes, oregano, onions, cilantro and chili powder which is the best and makes it so good. The menudo is my favorite dish there but they also have really good tacos and burritos. I was surprised when I saw they had tripas as meats because it's not common in the area. They're Cali fries are the bomb too but just make sure you eat them there and not to go unless you want them soggy. Anyway delicious Mexican food! read more

First of all I have to say, I have been here so many times and I have no clue why I didn't already review this place. Tortilla grill has consistently awesome food that is fresh and always served fast.Take out or dine in the food remains the same quality. This is a little restaurant with amazing quality food and big portions. In side there is about eight tables they are usually packed. They have a salsa bar that is always full. The menu is clear and easy to read, there are even pictures to show you exactly what you are getting. I have been here so many times, it is always clean. It is so easy for a salsa bar to become dirty, but they are always on it. The tables are cleaned every time somebody leaves. If you order to go you get your order in containers in a bag with the necessary utensils and napkins. If you choose to eat in, you are served chips and you can get up and get whatever salsa you like. As you're waiting for your food to cook, you could munch on your chips and salsa. When your order is ready, they will bring your food to your table and they will even refill your drink for you. I have been here so many times, as I said before, and their service is so good, I just don't see why people don't leave them tips. Every time we go here we always leave a tip. They have wonderful service, and refill your drinks for you, and ask if you need anything and if your meal is to your liking. Tortilla grill goes above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your food. If you do come here, the first thing I would try is there verde pozole. The second thing I would try is there Cali fries. There is truly nothing bad on this menu. read more

Whoa! Stopped at this place cause my bf said we should and whoooa #1. STELLAR customer service. I had zero issues, lies actually. We didn't have enough napkins. Anyway one thing I dread about eating at authentic Mexican places is that customer service usually isnt up to par, but this place blew me away. Friendly and fast #2. Place is clean and doesn't have a stench #3. The carne asada in my huarache wasn't fatty nor did it have the nervios in there!!! #4. Salsas are made in house and doesn't taste like they were canned, watered down, or stored in a fridge. #5. Ingredients were fresh. Its tastes like home. The horchata was amazing, like if they leave the rice & spices marinating over night to blend in the morning I am so impressed. We had carne asada nachos and a huarache. The food was excellent. We stopped by for breakfast and although it was our first time, it will not be our last. The service is above reproach. Like others have said, the service we received was stellar. The food did take a bit to prepare but that doesn't bother us at all! Unlike a lot of other Mexican restaurants, we just assumed that meant it wasn't pre made and slapped together but actually made to order. Even so, the meal was on the faster side, the place was clean and wait staff awesome. They even offered us more of their fantastic chips which we had to politely decline so that we had room for food!
