i just arrived at 8:30 pm and although they close at 9:00 pm Steven (the cashier) stated the order had to be to go !!! when I asked if that was company policy he replied with a firm affirmation !! I just complied and took my food out to avoid unnecessary confrontations .... the food was not tasty !! the beans and the rice were flavorless , the taquitos were not bad .,,, it was not worth the near $20 i paid for the the meal. My first time visiting on 12/18/22. I wanted to support a local business. I am not from the Lancaster area. I was visiting Lancaster and was searching for a Mexican restaurant. The food and the taste was not my preference. The food did not have any flavor and it had a old oil /lard taste. I ordered the taquitos de res ( beef) at la cart and the gorditas de chorizo(Mexican sausage) .The beef inside the taquitos is only plain meat ( for those who may ask if it is gisado) . I inquired regarding the chicken taquitos and the chicken is gisado with onions, tomatoes , and green bell pepper. The gorditas were not prepared how they would traditionally be prepared. You have to prepare them yourself and they come with boiled beans. The chorizo was overcooked. The gorditas do not come with sour cream. The staff is friendly . They provide complimentary chips and salsa :red and green. They do have refills for fountain drinks. The agua frescas do not have refills. They have in door sitting and to -go . The sitting is casual and booth style. They do have 1 table with chairs. Unfortunately, I will not return. However , if you want to try and support a local business it is totally up to you. I enjoyed coming here for years. The previous owners were great. I would recommend this spot all the time. Sadly, the new staff is not as welcoming. I tried to give the new ownership a try, but it just wasn't the same. The breaking point was coming in and getting completely ignored by the women at the front. No, I don't speak Spanish, but that had never been an issue here. I noticed my dad had been treated better, but Spanish is his first language. This is the only reason I can think that the women wouldn't want to help with me. I mean, they saw me and COMPLETELY ignored me. I also want to mention I was only 1 of maybe 2 other people who had already been helped and were already eating. The place was not busy at all. I have seen this place for years and I finally decided to stop by. Their prices took me by surprise. They are expensive! I paid $16 for a carne asada quesadilla with no rice, no beans or guac. The carne was flavorful and real steak which is a major plus for me. I want to try other items on the menu. read more

My burrito was old reheated chicken and the server with tattoos on her neck was not customer friendly. Prices are average. My worker gave me his chile Relleno burrito that was pretty good. The return air grille in the back hallway is pretty caked with dirt but everything else looks good. I'm hoping to give this place another chance in the future and revise my review. read more

I am on a huge Mexican food kick this summer and I have been finding new gems in different cities! The food: DELICIOUS! The food is always really good when I come here. My current go to here is the ceviche tostada and the chicken tacos. The ceviche tostada is so fresh and has a wonderful flavor. It is so refreshing to eat and every time I get it my boyfriend is like "dang I should've gotten that!". He loves the pastor tacos and the carne asada quesadilla. They have a lot of combo plates to choose from here. They have a large salsa bar complete with a variety of salsas as well as radish and jalapeños and carrots. The tacos here are only $1.69 each! A great bang for your buck! Not only are they inexpensive but they are delicious! The vibe: the restaurant is on the smart side but is busy 95% of the time when I come in. Great place to sit in or take out your food. The employees are very nice and accommodate to your needs. The owner is always there greeting guests and taking their orders. We love tortilla grill! I used to go there all the time we haven't gone there in a while last time I went there me and My wife oder a bowl of posole I noticed that they berly put any meat I was ok maybe they weren't paying attention when serving .we went agin yesterday the owner took my order I felt like he was in a bad mood I ordered to big bowls of posole I told him about my experience last that the bowl berly had any meat he's like what do you want in a rude way i was like really can u make sure they put the right amount of meat he's like ill check it my self same problem again I feel like for the price he should at least add the right amount my wife was upset I will never go there again they charge to much for the so little and the quality is not the same anymore read more
