I am certainly not one that enjoys going to the salon. I have finally decided that the grey hair that has started taking over the center part of my hair had to go! I scheduled an appointment for a hair trim, then later "surprised" her by stating I needed to discuss some options for covering the grey. Not only did she take the "surprise" totally as a no event, she said we could totally do the coloring that appointment. She really listend to my lifestyle before giving her best recomindation. Which is very important. Sometimes I have not so brilliant ideas about cutting my hair to short short length, just to be mad about it when I need to use a wig for a hairstyle, becuase I cut off all my hair. Also, she realized that although highlights work well to blend grey hair, they wouldn't work well to my natural tendency to not get my hair cut more than once or twice a year. After all the discussion, Ana went to work. Please note my hair had not been colored in over 10 years, well before all the grey popped up, so its color resistance was unknown. Due to my commitment issues, we decided to see if a heat processed semi-perminate color would cover properly. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite enough coverage. Instead of sending me home, with unsatisfactory results, she asked to go on to the next treatment. Thus, coloring my hair x2 in one evening and was wonderful the whole time. In the end, I ended with a lovely color that is basically my natural color, before the grey started to take over the center part of my hair. I have started once again to wear my lovely long hair down, as there is no need to hide grey hair. On top of a wonderful cut and color, Ana is just swell! All the hype on yelp about this place and Celia are very true! While I can't review any services except pedicures, I will certainly be returning here. My daughter (5.5 yrs) and I wanted a girls' afternoon out and wanted pedicures. I decided to try Celia, after reading the reviews on Yelp. They are all true about her. Celia is amazing! She welcome me and my daughter so warmly, and has the most peaceful, sweetest, calming way about her. She used the MOST amazing products on us and not only assured me she was using new or sanitized tools, she showed me, too. She has all the latest OPI polishes, which I love, and the lotions she uses smell heavenly. I was introduced to everyone at Toscana, including Ana, the owner. Ana was amazing, too. This is by far the best pedicure I've ever had, and I was so impressed by how warmly they accepted my daughter and gave her the most amazing first experience pedicure! She really took the time to listen to what I wanted, and also give me suggestions on how best to get my hair thick and healthy. Ever since I came out to LA last July, I've felt as though my feet were in a barren wasteland. Being poor and living here seemed to be a death sentence for the health of my toes, as the only pedicures I could afford were very, very subpar.... And then I found Celia. She's amazing. AMAZING. She's the nicest, kindest woman ever, she'll talk to you if you want to talk and she'll let you play on your phone/computer if you would prefer or you can just sit and take in the wonderful, quiet environment while being pampered beyond belief. Celia accommodated my appointment change, helped me find the shop and proceeded to spend two hours soaking, exfoliating, massaging, and perfectly polishing my toes/feet/legs. She was absolutely wonderful, the best pedicure I've ever had, and the prices were SO reasonable...I was blown away. If you want a REAL pedicure and not some foot washing/nail polish, this is where you need to be. I don't care where I move in LA, I will always make the drive to see Celia. But, Celia is just as good, if not BETTER. I went and saw her two weeks ago and my polish is STILL in tact. She says it will last 4-6 weeks. She uses all natural and organic products and disposes of EVERYTHING! She embraces sanitary practices and that means a lot to me. I've been a customer of Toscana Salon since 2010. Since I was a child I've always hated my hair, but more than that, I despised going to salons because of the sometimes snooty hairdressers who would wrinkle his or her nose and ask, "Ew girrrrl, who cut your hair last? It's a mess!" I gave up on salons, during my twenties. For several years before letting Ana, the owner at Toscana Salon, have control over my hair's health, I was using a Flowbee (don't judge me!! lol) and a harsh, drug store hair color. So bone-dry, brittle and bushy was my hair that it looked like I was wearing hat made of Texas tumbleweed. Not only that, but also my hair had a greenish hue--I had not been choosing the correct type/shade of color at the drug store. Ana never wrinkled her nose in disgust. Instead, she went to work, reviving my hair, and educating me on color, cut, and care. How grateful I am that I found Ana's salon! This woman really knows her color! My hair has been trimmed, tamed, and tinted correctly with quality Redken products, and for about 1/3 the cost of other salons. The prices are very reasonable. The last service I received Celia cut my cuticles, I bled and she charged for callous remover that she didnt use my heels where still rough.Thanks CELIA for wasting my time and tears praying for you lied about cancer. The last service o received was sloppy and she cut my cuticles. Also very disappointed that she wouldn't tell us where she moved to so she could honor her gift certificates... she never reimbursed, refunded us or honored them! Luvin' my red toes and super soft, spotlessly clean feet! My favorite pedicurist, Celia has recently made the move to add pedi's/mani's to this elegant little Burbank hair salon, Toscana. Since I don't go in for hyper-girly stuff often--I'd rather be gardening or beach combing, not too good for pedi's/mani's-- so soft music and surroundings are not only luxuries, but necessities when I'm going to invest an hour or two getting my nails done. I refuse to endure a nail salon that reeks of chemical warfare with crap loud music ringing in my ears. Toscana is lovely, peaceful, and most important doesn't smell like napalm. I fall into the cushy comfy massage chair, groovy spa music, and aromatherapy as Celia soaks my feet, then rubs in glycolic to soften the calluses, scrubs and scrubs and scrubs some more, massages, and then painstakingly polishes. And her pedi's last forever; I've actually gotten 5 weeks out of some of her work. That's a good thing since spa pedi's are more coin than a quickie pedi/mani in a nail chop shop. But hey, I'm worth $35. bucks and some pampering, and so are you! You get what you pay for. I get manicures about twice year since I play in the dirt a lot, but Celia's mani's are top of the line. *IMPORTANT* Celia is vigilant in the extreme about sterilization!! Toscana is next to that iconic English Pub and shoppe, "Buchanan Arms" so you can buy an authentic teapot or Princess Diana photo, and then get your pint on before or after you get polished up! read more

Not only does she put heat pads on your neck and back but she gives you coffee and massages your hands and feet really well and takes her time taking off all your cuticles. Treats you like a queen.
