Heaven bowl as a wrap and went with the raspberry vinaigrette.

The hubby and I met for lunch here while we were working. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that all their salad bowls can be made into wraps. (I didn't really feel like a salad, but I wanted something healthier). They offer fresh ingredients (viewable from their bar) and soup options. I had beef barley soup, with my wrap, but I found it a tad on the salty side. Wrap was good and I'll be back. I wish they offered more drink options.

God tier greens! Big 'ol salads with all the good stuff your mom begged you to eat, now you're grown and you want to eat the "good for you" stuff before you can have dessert. Look at these massive salads! I've been stalking this store for months waiting for it to open!!! These are some of the selections we tried at a recent meeting!!! How can you even decide? We couldn't, so we ordered a bunch! Which will be your fave? Guess you'll have to try them all, too! Lots of combos and delish dressing options, too! We tried Avocado Lime, Green Goddess, Balsamic Vinaigrette and Creamy Garlic Herb. Bonus for eco-friendly bowls and utensils, too! If you're loving Mother Earth as much as your love yourself, go eat better and Toss Your Greens! Ace, best to you, my friend!!! These salads are the bomb!

The Be Capri looks like a fresh and healthy option for the road!

I have been looking for a healthy option on the Sparks side of town and stopped to order the "Be Wild" wrap. I ordered it with a little buffalo dressing and some regular ranch so it wouldn't be too spicy! The wrap was huge which will be lunch and dinner for me! I also picked up a salad, the "Be Capri," to take on the road tomorrow! The service was great and the food was fresh and delicious!! I'll be back soon!

I e been hoping praying and wishing for a salad place to open up in my area and Toss Your Greens answered those prayers! They offer a small set menu of delicious sounding salads for you to choose from, but I decided to build my own. They didn't have a lot of toppings, but everything they did have looked really fresh and awesome. The girl bull sing my bowl made lots of helpful suggestions on what she likes at the moment, and the toppings change out seasonally. I did come in within their first day of opening, so it looked like they were still getting things rolling. I think I'm the future they'll have more toppings to choose from and the proceeds will be more streamlined, as the staff was still learning. But I still left with a HUGE and amazing tasting salad only after a few minutes. I will say that this is definitely pricier than Saladworks and probably comparable to Chop Stop in price. But the portion was absolutely gigantic and I couldn't even finish the whole salad! They also had premium toppings like salmon and they make all of their own dressings. I definitely recommend this place if you love a good salad. I know I'll be back!

Yummy and healthy yay. I got Chipotle wrap and a strawberry aloe drink. Chipotle wrap is romaine, avocado, cilantro, onion, chicken, and tortilla straps with a cilantro avocado dressing. Super yum. Also, the service was very nice and also quick.

Randomly found this place because Jimmy Johns closed for whatever reason. Glad I did because their salads are super fresh. This place is still new but you can tell this is a ma and pa type restaurant. I was told they just opened two weeks ago so bear with them as they're still training their staff and please be nice as they're still learning. My coworkers came over to check out my salad and complimented the place because it looked really yummy. Also, this was a $13 salad but so fresh. You definitely get what you paid for because the lid didn't close. If you can't afford this or want to complain about how expensive it is, please be nice about it and go somewhere else that may not be as fresh not as good. Just my 2 cents.

Giant salad, amazing mural in the background, live plant on the table. cute napkins to match! LOVE

I was seriously thrilled with the discovery of this place the other day! Being right around the corner from my house was already a big plus, I hate having to drive to Reno every time I want to eat out. The customer service was top notch and the salad was delicious. The ingredients are all locally sourced which I love and they are delicious. There are so many dressing options as well. They have a giant mural painted by local artist Art, that is beautiful. Plus, the matching green Tesla out front, fancy! I am all about small details. These locals are showing up big and deserve the recognition for that! If you like soup and salad, check them out!

I don't get to the Midtown location very often, but when I do, I'm glad I came. Located in a little shopping center off Virginia Street it's centrally located in the heart of Reno. Outdoor/Indoor seating is available offering a nice shaded and/or air conditioned dining area. The food is always some of the best around with one of the cleanest set of offerings you could hope to find on a single menu...! Lots of organic and wholesome choices. I usually go for a lot less carby of a meal, but today I was feeling a Grilled Cheese made their way with several melted cheeses on sourdough with tomatoes and pesto aioli. So delicious! When we arrived, we were seated immediately, which was a great start. The restaurant was busy, but no busier than many other places we've visited. After being seated, however, we waited... and waited... and waited for someone to even acknowledge us. Nothing. During that time, we watched our server attend to several other tables, clear dishes, grab items, and process payments. We also noticed two employees standing near the register. One of them looked over at our table multiple times, so it was obvious they knew we were there. Still, no one came over to greet us or let us know someone would be with us shortly. As we looked around, we realized we were the only Asian family in the restaurant. Whether intentional or not, it left us feeling overlooked, uncomfortable, and wondering if we were being treated differently. It was an awful feeling. Eventually, our server came to our table but never apologized for the long wait or acknowledged that we'd been sitting there unattended. By then, the experience had already left a bad impression. I was there with my husband and our three boys, and it was difficult trying to explain why we seemed to be the only table being ignored. Will we come back? NO I'm sure this restaurant has plenty of customers and won't miss one family, but every guest deserves to feel welcomed and valued. A simple greeting or apology would have gone a long way. As for the food, it was good. But good food alone doesn't make up for poor service or for making guests feel like they don't belong. Dining out is about the entire experience, and unfortunately, ours was overwhelmingly disappointing. I'm typically a very generous tipper because I appreciate good service. However, when a restaurant makes my family feel out of place and overlooked, it's hard to justify leaving anything. Respect and hospitality should be extended to every customer.

It's family owned by a father, brother, and sister, which adds to its welcoming and authentic feel. I also loved learning that the building has historical significance. Be sure to check out the plaque outside if you visit. The customer service was outstanding. Zach greeted us as soon as we walked in, seated us quickly, and took the time to explain the menu and answer our questions. His friendly personality and knowledge made us feel right at home. I had a tough time deciding between the Homegrown Burger and the Alaskan Salmon, but I went with the burger. It was cooked exactly how I requested, juicy, flavorful, and easily one of the better burgers I've had in Reno. I'd give it a 9.2/10. My wife ordered the macaroni and cheese. She thought the flavor was delicious, but the sauce was a little thinner than she prefers, so she gave it a 6/10. Even so, she still finished the entire plate, which says a lot about how good it tasted. For dessert, we shared the apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream, and it was the perfect way to end the meal. It wasn't overly sweet. The warm cobbler paired perfectly with the cold, creamy ice cream. To top it all off, Zuck even gave us a mini tour of the restaurant, which made the experience feel even more personal. Great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere make Homegrown Gastropub a place I'll definitely be returning to. If you're in Reno and looking for a locally owned restaurant with character and quality food, this place is absolutely worth a visit!

A draft beer for 16 dollars is also more than expected. Our bartender was professional and chatty. He did pull a nice bottle of tequila down for us to admire, and told us about some other fancy top shelf stuff they had. I appreciate they were even open. When visiting Reno, I highly encourage anyone that is looking for a delightful and relaxing lunch…read morespot to definitely check out "Süp". Located directly on S. Virginia St and adjacent to St. Lawrence Ave in the heart of the Midtown neighborhood of Reno, Süp has served up delicious and healthy sandwiches, salads, and soups dating back to 2007. This place has been on my radar for quite some time and I finally got to experience what it was all about. Since this is in a fairly busy commercial part of town, it can be a bit tricky to find parking. However, we were able to park only a block away and this was during the afternoon on Thursday 7/2/2026 at around 12:15pm. After making the short way to the business, I absolutely loved the exterior aesthetics and layout were represented. The business itself mimics a house complete with a large front patio area that actually snakes around to the side of the house for the more comfortable Reno days. The wooden tables with plastic chairs and covered tents to shield off the sun were a very nice touch. The inside also offers very generous indoor seating complete with ample space for a single person, a couple, or a family. Their menu are digitally presented on LED TVs complete with some of their specials that are handwritten on a chalkboard. My lady and I both decided to order sandwiches to get our fuel and energy for the day. I went with their "Char-Grilled Steak Baguette"; this came complete with their bistro steak drizzled with chimichurri sauce and topped with caramelized onions, New York white cheddar & sharp cheddar cheese and served on a cheddar poppy seed baguette. My lady went with their "Reno Deli"; this offered salami, pepperoncini & pesto layered with spinach, tomatoes, provolone cheese, and aioli on toasted sourdough bread. Both of our sandwiches came with a side house salad. Once given our number (we got Tahoe St), we decided to sit outside and take full advantage of the weather (as it was a perfect 78°F). What I particularly like is that the ambiance is the perfect vibe for daydreaming, people watching, and enjoying the simplicity that a city like Reno offers. Both our sandwiches arrived in roughly 10 minutes and were presented on white porcelain plates. My sandwich was made to perfection as the cheddar baguette securely held the fillings quite nicely. There was a lot of seasoned steak as the other sauces were not too overpowering. And considering the size of this, it got me quite full as I wasn't hungry until much later in the day. I will say that if you're looking for a reputable small business that offers healthy fresh ingredients, excellent customer service, amazing ambiance in a very desirable area of Reno, I highly recommend giving "Süp" a try. Their selection of salads, sandwiches, bowls, and soups are all wonderful choices as they focus on farm-fresh ingredients. And if time allows, I highly encourage everyone to eat here as I felt right at home during my 45-minute stay. Keep in mind that they are closed on Sunday but are open Monday through Saturday from 11am-9pm. With that said and done, I am giving Süp a perfect five-star review.

Or is it that epic side salad that comes with every sandwich? I like to think that it's a combination of everything above that makes this place a spot that people return to time and time again. For me, it's the friendly faces and the family owned lives that this place is dudes which bring me here from time to time. And the warmer Mo I don't often think about it, but they do have incredibly welcoming patio with lots of shade and great salads and sandwiches if you don't feel like soup. But of course there's always an awesome option of having a cup of soup with your sandwich just to round out the experience. From what I can tell, not a whole lot has changed about this spot and that's with good reason. The people have spoken over and over and over again in this community loves this restaurant just the way it is. When you come here, you can't go wrong with the grilled cheese and classic tomato soup but if you're feeling adventurous, try the soup sampler and taste a few at once to pick your favorite then find out when it's on the menu so you can plan your return based around it. Me I'm a sandwich guy and my most recent visit. I had to try the barbecue chicken on the jalapeño cheddar roll. Chicken with succulent, not overly sauce with light spice and the fresh veggies on top made for a really nice sandwich. The bread was a little bit thick and I ended up eating most of it open face so in the future, I'd say if there's an option for this barbecue chicken to go on top of the salad, you won't miss there. Speaking of salad that cute little side salad that comes with all the sandwiches is so good. Their house made white balsamic vinaigrette is just absolute fire and no meal here is complete without it. 19 years in and Sup is still hot. When's the last time you visited?
