Mr. Robert Perez is the owner. He sent out a technician for a diagnostics of my induction oven/cook top. The tech, open the top and looked in. He said the parts were not available He never looked at the actual parts or check which part was broken. He then said the parts were not available. Later, I spoke with Mr. Perez. He said he was having personal problems and could not give me what I paid for, which was a proper diagnosis. He promised to call back, but he never did. He took my payment but never delivered the service. He was argumentative with me. Like it was my fault or something. I do not recommend this company for induction repair. Also, they have terrible customer service. I ended up calling a certified Samsung tech who gave me what I expected Stay away from total appliance repair. They took my money and did not deliver the service. Can you go less than 1 star? DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!! Robert came to fix an ice machine and sprayed it with "evap foam no rinse". it still is not working. After multiple attempts to have him return or have someone else come and look at our problem I finally gave up. I just spoke to Robert on the phone...after a couple minutes of communication he began to yell at me because I wasn't "understanding" of his situation. In which I replied that I was very understanding but still needed help...and after many calls, text, and emails...we already paid for a service that wasn't working...I wanted my Money back. Call them to look at my washing machine and they charged me $89 to say it's the motor. Didn't look at any of the parts, didn't make the sound that it normally make, nothing, just said it's the motor and it would be $300-$500 to replace. Looking online for the same problem found out on several sites it could be the actuator which is a $26 part and 4 screws to remove and replace it. Took all of 5 minutes for 3 guys on 3 different pages to replace, Robert (the supervisor) is still saying it l'll $300-$500 to replace. Remove 4 screws and 2 parts...that's it. $300-$500. The scam is charge you $89 service fee say it the motor and say it'll cost you $300-$500 to replace. And anything dealing with it will cost the same. read more

Never have I done a review, it would be in the negative if I could. Total Appliance & Residential was contracted out to our home through an appliance repair brokerage company. The tech showed up did a diagnostic on my oven in 20 minutes. The Tech said he will call us the next day to schedule repairs. But never did. So my husband called a couple of days later and the owner, "Robert", who kept telling us that he would call us back for an appointment over a few days time frame. He also asked for records of the diagnostics receipt, so we sent them. Again another day goes by, and was told he would be calling us the next morning to schedule with no response again. My husband calls and his phone call is ignored, so I called from a different number and Robert picked up. I explained the situation. He began to tell me how busy he has been. He got very hostile with me and yelled at me and made it our problem for his lack of customer service. He was very unprofessional and unkind. Think before calling this guy. read more

Understand service call charges, but when they don't ask any questions up front and you know the problem why would they come take your $95 to tell you the parts are too expensive to bother with repairs! Be careful with this appliance repair company. I had him come to clean and repair both of my ice machines. One of my ice machine he put back together incorrectly. He told me before he left it may not work because he ran diagnostics on it and it may need a sensor. I call him the next day to tell him it doesn't work and it needs a sensor. He says he will order it. I wait and wait he says it's on back order along with a bunch of other useless excuses. Mean while I call another repair man he looks at it and says it looks like they put the tray back incorrectly. That he is not to familiar with the machine and not comfortable to work on it. Then I call another company they come out. Indeed that's what was done, Robert, put the machine back wrong! When I called Robert he said my machine needed a sensor and a mother board. He already charged me to replace the pump. My saving appliance repair man said that these machines shut down when they need cleaning. Most likely it just needed a cleaning. Please do not use this company. He annoyed me too because he kept commenting on my appliances and how I should have them serviced before thanksgiving. read more

Do not use this company for any repairs. They came out to look at my refridgerator, told me everything was fine and charged me a service fee even thought they were only here 10 minutes. My refridgerator still would not cool nor would the freezer freeze. I have called them several times to schedule another appointment, the first time they said hey would call back and never did, the second time I scheduled them to come out and they never showed up. if there was a zero rating that's what Robert with Total Appliance would get. I don't usually do reviews, but I'm really tired of this kind of service. It took a week for Robert to be available and he showed up for the appointment (that was supposed to be from 9-11 am) closer to 12 noon. He had called my husband and asked all the details of the problem and we told Robert it was probably a spring and/or a latch. Robert was here for exactly 5 mins and agreed. He charged us $89 for the service call and said he would go to the warehouse and come back that afternoon. We never heard from him that day or the next until we called him again, twice. He said, 'oh well my truck broke down' well Robert, did your phone die too? So he rescheduled for the following Monday and guess what? No Robert, no call. I'll be getting that $89 back now, thank you, and Robert can take that much needed break he's so not deserving of. Thanks for nothing. read more
