But wait, they only have after hours service which costs even more.  This company obviously has not matured with the times.  A professional company would have done a better job of trying to figure out why their sticker, installation date and warranty info is on a tank they supposedly did not install. Go to a company that knows what they are doing.  I would not give this company my business or recommend them to anyone I care about. Years down the line, after giving them your business, your receipt will magically disappear and you will be out of luck.

Gave my husband a 4 hour window from 8-12 and told him we were at the top of the list. No one showed or called us and at 12 we finally called ECI to see what happened. We were told that we were bumped down the list of calls because they accommodate contract customers first. While that's great in theory why on earth would we buy a contract from a company who can't even honor an initial appointment window? And doesn't bother calling to let you know? We were lucky enough to go with a different company who not only arrived on time but finished by 3pm.

Had a horrible experience where and employee turned off my water heater by turning a valve and said…read morethe brand new machine was broken..... Only to pay a few hundred dollars for a technician to come over and undo his work... All they did was to turn a valve and hit a button. The original worker said he was untrained and they will not send him for training. Horrible, and never got back to me after that situation. Responding to the message, you said that i do not agree with the decision - which is true I do not believe I should have paid for the first technicians' incompetence, there was no reason to turn off the valve. Then when you go to the second technician who came in, all he did was to turn the valve and restart the machine. Logically speaking - if the water heater worked - then we ran out of oil - then the first tech came after filling up the oil - how would the valve have been turned? Because I know i did not touch it and that's exactly why i paid extra for that service. And I have seen with my very own two eyes the first tech turns the valve. Those are undeniable the true and accurate facts of this scenario.
