Great communication and patience through my many questions prior to actually starting the work. Fair pricing and willingness to explore options, to solve problems in multiple ways in order to maximize value for the customer. Once we nailed down the best plan to proceed, the team got right to work, and the work was performed quickly and very satisfactorily. Again, this initial project was not complicated, but our discussions helped me confirm that my best approach is to phase my projects, and based on this first experience, I'm planning to have John's Electric, Inc., back ASAP for a bigger project. They contacted us promptly after the Request For Quote went out to all contractors in the area, and showed sincere enthusiasm for the work, even though our project was very small (it was to come out to Alabaster to fix a front porch light fixture, which had been ripped off my elderly mother's house by 'porch thieves' who had targeted her). They came out to my mother's home, were respectful of her property and her privacy, inspected the work to be done, gave me a prompt estimate of the costs (and were willing to discuss the cost with me on the phone as well). Then, they went out the next day and completed the work, and billed me exactly what had been quoted. The work was professionally done with solid competence regarding electrical issues.
