Just had my second experience here and I couldn't be any happier with the outcome. Me and my guy went together for an hr full body massage and omg was it amazing. Not only are you completely naked (which I prefer) but they literally kick ass getting all the areas And we're very thro and took there time. I'm not joking when I say they seriously had my whole back side exposed when giving the oil rub down,. So if you are someone that is really shy I would not go here then. You start off with the sheet and they actually get up on the table and stand on your backside to start off the massage. I was so impressed and the gal that was doing my massage was asking off and on if the pressure was good!! I give this place an A+++. Oh there building and facilities are immaculate too, so clean, so don't judge from the looks of it off the road, just go inside and see for yourself. read more

I went there as I had bad neck pain, place was clean, but disorganized, first of all for $65 an hour I expected a full hour and a decent massage, the first girl was Lisa I say first because then another masseuse (not LMT) came in room,saying she came in on day off (Not my fault) her massage was not as good as first girl and then when done they both expected tips.But to assume they will be tipped? Really? Don't waste your time there are many other choices,more professional and they can probably speak English. read more

I like deep tissue massage and enjoyed this one was very good. It was different than many experiences I've had in the past with females performing a massage. Typically it is not hard enough. This one was very good. I would definitely recommend it. read more

Very nice locker rooms and over all nice for a cheap place. But.. I got the 60 min foot reflexology and she had gloves on the whole time which didn't feel great. And my feet are clean and healthy so need for gloves. She also yawned a lot which made me feel bad. But very sweet people that work there :) read more

if you get the right Asian masseuse, you're in heaven, They will walk on your back and get all those tight knots out. They are very complete with their massages. They get those often overlooked areas, that others miss, like the shins and feet and those GLUTES! As a man, I sit a lot at my desk and those hammies and glutes are tight. But I walked out a new, refreshed man, last PM. Happy, and relaxed. I would have given them 5 stars, but the scalp massage is off-putting, they kinda pull your hair, just as you have settled in and are felling good. read more

After a massage the girl demanded more tips as she said she expected 20 % tips.The place looks empty and overprised compare to a massage place 2 minutes walk from them.The people here are not professional at all, do not answer questions and they are very rude after the massage.Never come here again. read more

i've actually been coming here for quite a while, maybe since 2003 or so. one of the front desk girls who's been there the whole time is such a fox. i think $85+ is way too much - did scott m give a massive tip? it's $65/hour - for shiatsu, at least - in which case $8 is good for a tip, i'm told (front desk babe said so). last one i got was from a chinese girl named kelly (i think) but i wasn't crazy about her nor was i crazy about angela. when i told them i was disppointed with angela they gave me a coupon for a discount on the next visit but i didn't get one this last time when i mentioned my gripe with kelly. not that she was bad, just that i didn't want to get her again. so far i found i prefer the japanese girls. they seem to do it better and since most girls here don't speak english very well, if i have to communicate with them in another language, it'd have to be japanese anyway. grace and saori are the ones i like best so far. i once treated two friends to massages here - one male and one female - and they both THOROUGHLY enjoyed themselves! oh yeah and the bathrooms are so nice and clean and professional! the only reason i don't give 5 stars is because of the two disappointments i've had. i will continue to go. read more

I have no idea who these yelpers are who are giving five star reviews for this place. Either (a) they went to a totally different massage place or (b) they've never had a decent massage before so they have no comparison or (c) they were paid by these guys. From the get go this place was the opposite of "total relax". They asked for payment up front (including tip), they didn't ask me about any part of my body that might need extra work OR if there are any injuries to be aware of, they just plopped me on a bed. The massage itself was painful and this is coming from a guy who takes regular deep tissue massages... It's as if the therapist just decided to seek out all painful pressure points and stab at them as hard and as frequently as they can. If they weren't putting their full body weight on a point - they were rubbing muscles "against the grain" push it up against the bone or separating muscle groups imprecisely. I forgot to mention the places they rubbed, my stomach, around the nipples and the inside of my thigh... all areas that do not need to be rubbed by a stranger. I was just praying for the ordeal to be over so I stopped communicating with her and just kept thinking about the end (remember I was required to pay in advance, so that's it). When it was all over I came out and my therapist was standing outside with a jar asking for a tip. Wow. I'm typing this review exhausted, in more pain than I began and regretting the whole experience. Beware. read more

from start to finish, a wholly un-relaxing experience. inexplicably had to pay upfront before the service. then the massage was a series of jarring, painful, anger-inducing motions. i tensed up the entire time in an effort to protect my bones. (i've had many deep tissue massages before, but this was just a bunch of tortuous jabs.) finally, therapist intercepted us at the exit to essentially demand a tip. the only thing that got me through this ordeal without jumping up and punching the (male) therapist out of anger was composing this yelp review in my head during the painful experience. read more

Not worth going here!!! The lady that gave me the massage did a horrible job. Every time she felt a knot she just quickly passed through it. She didn't take her time getting the muscle ready and ended up hurting me a few times. Not worth it go to bodycenter nearby its so much better. read more

Total Relax is one of the finest of it's kind. Very clean and so many amenities. And the staff is very friendly. They have large lockers in the changing room for your things and if you want to shower after your massage they have everything you could possibly need. Two showers, clean towels, blow-dryers, hair brushes and combs, deodorant, mouthwash, q-tips etc. I can't believe some of these other reviews I am reading that talk about the massage being less than perfect. You have a responsibility to communicate with your masseuse, not everybody likes the same thing. If you want more or less pressure, you simply say so. If you want more attention to a certain area (i.e. neck and shoulders or lower back) you just ask for it. They are massage therapists not mind readers. Don't be afraid to speak up. Believe me, they WANT to do a good job for you because the better the massage the bigger the tip, right? Bad reviews can be very damaging to a company and it is unfair of you to give a bad review if you just laid on the table and didn't say anything. Again, you need to do your part and communicate with your masseuse. I have NEVER had anything less than an excellent massage at Total Relax. read more
