Max just left my house about a half hour ago. I could not recommend him enough. We had a broken back door lock. We found him on Yelp and since he has good reviews we thought we would give him a call. He showed up within 2 hours of our initial call and fixed our door within an hour. He is very clean, and knowledgeable about locks. He know right away what was wrong and went to work. I sent out a request for quotes to several locksmiths. I got two quotes and Max was the best. Plus he was in the area and was able to come the same day. He was well-versed in installing smart locks (there are several things to consider for the lock to work properly), and he even helped me set up the app. He also installed a mailbox slot to match the new hardware. Can't recommend Total Relock highly enough! When my daughter's hybrid car's battery died, locking everything up, including the trunk, I needed help fast. I did not actually end up using Total Relock. BUT, I still feel compelled to give them a 5-star rating and write this review. I reached out to them about getting a replacement key fob for my car and having them program it. Max responded within minutes. I gave him the details of what I needed and he gave me a price quote that I thought was fair and reasonable. He then told me he needed to order the part and would be back in touch with me once he had it so he could come to me and finish the job. The next day, Max reached out to me and told me that, after talking to his parts supplier, he determined that it would not be in my best interest to have him do the work. Because of the particular car manufacturer, if he did the work, there would be a risk of causing damage to the car and the key not working. I greatly appreciate the honesty and integrity, not to mention the terrific customer service even though I did not end up being a paying customer. read more
