3.75 stars *** Pros: -They have "Happy Hour" prices Mon-Wed, discounting their regular price by at least $40-$60 off regular price. -The ambience & vibe is neutral, calming & spa like. -The ladies who did our scalp & hair wash were dressed professionally in all black, masked, spoke very polite & were attentive. -The tables were comfortable, soft, blanketed & relaxing. -Ambience was nicely decorated, & the rooms offered various services for nails, pedis, & massage. -If you like this place, they have other locations in Roseville & Fremont. -They do facials & lymph drainage 60 - 90 minute options. -They do 60-90 minute long hair & scalp rejuvenation. -They look at your hairs cleanliness before & after the sessions. They do a real good job cleaning all that oily gunk off & you can really tell the difference. Cons: -The lady's hands were sort of bony & painful during massage. -I've had scalp/shampoo treatments like this that are a lot cheaper but have also included a face massage included in the price (no extra charge), which relaxes me so much more versus with just scalp/hair shampoo like Clevenate does. And this other establishment I usually go to, their prices start at $75 an hour regular price vs this one starts at $128 an hour. I only gave 3.75 stars because the lady's hands for massage weren't very relaxing, her fingers were sort of painful, despite her great reviews. The lack of face massage for the price in comparison to other establishments that include both face & scalp/head shampoo made this place seem overpriced for the service received. Would I return? Only to maybe try other ladies like maybe Kim, or if a friend invited me here. But for now, I want to try other places. read more

I went on Monday for Happy Hour, the special was $75 for 60 minutes. I was greeted warmly by the staff member and asked to fill out a form. While English is not her first language, she tried her best to communicate as much as she could and was very friendly and polite. Overall, the Massage bed was very comfortable and the entire service was very relaxing. If you are sensitive to noise, I would definitely bring earplugs because the sound of water echoing in the bowl can be a little overwhelming, especially with the eye mask provided blocking out your other senses. She did show me before, and after of my Scalp using a camera technology, that was pretty cool. The service began with a lotion or perfume, smell, however, all the products use on my hair smelled a lot like harsh cleaning products. However, my hair came out incredibly soft at the end of it. They also took the time to blow dry my hair completely. I was also steamed at one point like a bow bun, meanwhile, she did a light massage on my arms and legs. There was a lot of Scalp and shoulder massage as well. Overall, I think the special was well worth it. I would have liked a little bit more commentary on what was happening throughout the service, but generally you can just let the professional do her thing and trust in the process. read more

Great Scalp Treatment, But the Facial Missed the Mark I visited Clevenate Scalp Oasis in Elk Grove and had a really nice experience overall -- especially with the scalp treatment. That part was genuinely impressive. I loved seeing the before-and-after photos; it's so satisfying to actually see the difference, not just feel it. My scalp felt clean, refreshed, and lighter afterward, and the visuals made it even better. Where things fell short for me was the facial. It wasn't terrible, just... lackluster. The technician never explained what she was doing, what step was coming next, or why each part of the facial mattered. I'm someone who likes to know what's happening on my skin -- especially when different products or devices are involved -- and there was zero communication about any of it. At one point she brought out a microcurrent device, which I couldn't use because I had Botox two weeks prior. I was surprised that wasn't on the intake form, because that's definitely something a technician should know before choosing tools. It would've saved both of us a little confusion, and honestly, it's just an important safety detail. The facial itself felt fine, but without any explanation of products, benefits, or steps, it didn't feel personalized or intentional. Compared to how great the scalp treatment was, the facial just didn't match the same level of care or professionalism. That said, the space is clean, the concept is unique, and the scalp treatment alone is worth coming in for. I found this spa through Instagram and wanted to give it a try. They were nice enough to fit me in on the same day that I called in. The space itself didn't feel very clean. Especially the bathroom. It was disgusting which just made me question the cleanliness of the rest of the establishment. To start the treatment, they scan your scalp to see any problem areas. There were a few photos taken of my scalp but there wasn't much of an analysis. The gal didn't explain anything to me. She took the photos then said "okay, now we'll get started." The scalp treatment was relaxing but I didn't really know what she was focusing on, what products she was using and whether or not the tools she was using on me were sanitary. The first to give you a clipboard so you can fill out your history and what you would like them to do like such as the massage being more hard or soft or gentle. The cost of my package was $198 for 75 minutes and it was really well worth it after leaving and I am feeling still fresh on day two. I am trying to incorporate once a month for self care and getting a scalp massage to keep up with my scalp. . With the scalp spa massage what they do is first they start off with doing a really nice facial and they add some moisturizer and they do a face mask and then they use a special magnetic tool to help scrape and roll around your face to help get rid of all the puffiness and leaving your face really light and clean. Then they slowly wash away your hair with shampoo conditioner with different tools to help massage your head and the temples and also they do a hair mask and have a steam that helps open up your pores for your hair and they do a examination to check if you're here is oily dry dirty or clogged. They also give you a really nice neck and shoulder massage and using the magnetic tool around your chest area to get rid of any of the sore and toxic. . Overall I thought it was really great experience to do a scalp Spa. The parking is like parking in someone's house which is kind of tight space but it worked out and they have about seven parking spaces. Also it is located in the old town Elk Grove. I went again and it was a lot more relaxing. I got the Royal Purity package and emphasized that I just wanted to relax, not get the intense dandruff/dry scalp removal process like last time (although looking back I do notice it did help with my dandruff/dry scalp issue!). I loved the hair brushing, head massage "spider" tool, and the spritzing. There was also a steam process this time, which was nice and I got to experience the waterfall ring on my neck and head. The music relaxed me too. I also got the shoulder, arm, and hand massage. It was way better than last time and Alaia did a great job checking in on me to make sure pressure was okay for scalp and back/shoulders.
