My husband and I showed up to buy wine for the holidays, and saw open bottles at the tasting station, which looked like a fun way to sample what we were going to buy. We asked a man who worked there if they were doing tastings. He said yes... but then walked away. We waited for another few minutes, asked someone else and they said no. I needed a quote for a wedding. I walked in and was told rudely that I need to go online to make an appt. Mind you there were very few customers in the store and there were lot of employees just walking, standing and chatting. I said not one of these people can help me. She said no we have an event person. I asked to see the manager and the event person greeted me and said she can help me. I went over what I would like to purchase. Told her to work on it and she can get back to me. This was 3 weeks ago. I have still not heard back. Mind you this is a big order alcohol for 300 people. Every manager here is total sh*t. They get annoyed when you ask them to check stock. Wow, it's just your job! I went in yesterday to be told what I was looking for would be delivered the next day. I placed a order for curbside pick up using the app. The times are selected was "by 6 PM". When I got my email confirmation, it said, "between 6 and 8 PM". So I called to see if we could arrange to have the order done at the time that was selected an offer on the app. Instead of getting any kind of cooperation or compassion or compromise, I got a bobble-headed b!tch blaming the computer who would not let me finish a sentence. I asked to speak to a manager and she put me on hold and came back and said the manager would need to call me back. About half the time that I deal with a store it's a delightful experience and the other half I want to scream. Can you imagine what kind of a business they would do if the people they had dealing with customers wereconsistently skilled and professional? read more

This is solely based on customer service. My friend and I were buying wine and got asked for our IDs, nbd. I'm Hispanic and gave her my passport (I lost my TX license last week) she eyed me up and down and asked for her managers assistance. If that doesn't scream racism, idk what does. The staff here sucks! Called them to check stock and they had me on hold for about five minutes. Then they hung up. Called them again (two times) thinking that the called drop but no the just say they are going to check and then they just hang up. Showed up there and they get all mad and rude just because you ask. them to check if they have something in stock. Worst place to go buy your alcohol. read more

I've been to several Total Wine & More stores around the metro - but this one by far has had the best customer service! My fiance and I went in to purchase wine and liquor for our wedding. We knew (or we thought we did) what we wanted - we must've looked lost or confused - because an associate came up to us and asked if we needed help! I wish I could remember his name because he was beyond helpful. He didn't try to up sell me on anything. I told him a around about number for our budget and we actually were way under thanks to his help. I had no idea how many glasses were in each bottle of wine...he did the math and knew exactly how many I needed for the number of guest. We felt like VIPs - he even opened a closed check out lane for us because they were busy (sorry to those customers we cut). All around this is now my go to store for all my drinking needs! read more

All of their wine tastes like it's been stored outside. I've never had so many bottles taste so bad from brands I've been buying for years. It's only this location. I'm not sure how many bottles I've dumped down the drain so far but after this last bottle I've had enough. I refuse to purchase anything other than liquor and beer from this location. read more

Came on a Thursday during the day to pick up an online order. I was admittedly two hours before the 1pm order ready time...and hadnt recieved my "your order is ready" yet...but I was out and about and was hoping they could accomodate. Not only was it no problem they welcomed me in and got me my order ASAP. It was clean and well organized. Will definitely make this my first stop for my adult beverage needs in the future. read more

I didn't have my drivers licence so I used my passport the cashier looked me up and down and called for a manager, she then very rudly said to me "you don't have a drivers licence" (obviously if I had my drivers licence I would have used it). After paying I walked up to the manager to ask why he was needed and as I'm asking him he starts to walk away and proceeds to walk outside and when I don't follow him into the parking lot he yells the answer at me. Total Wines on Central Expwy. Is the best! So totally customer friendly. Store on W. Park in Plano does not have fun vibe that Dallas store has and no customer service. Best place to buy liquor at a reasonable price, plus the selection is just hard to beat. AND they have 12-packs of cans of REDDS and Angry Orchard - you can't find those anywhere. If I could give no stars I would after the experience I had today. I went in to just get some stuff as I was having guest over tonight at my home. Upon walking in I had people follow me through the whole store. Not only being followed but also had people question my age.....10 people approached me regarding my age making comments like "are you sure you're over 21" "well that's what people underaged would buy" and so so much more. I do look young, and always have my whole life, I get that it can raise an eyebrow when I walk into a liquor store but should never get to this extent. When I went to check out they called not 1 not 2 but 3 people to check my ID because they believed it to be fake....spoiler alert, it's not. I was so frustrated that I debated just walking out. I have been to numerous liquor stores and bought alcohol plenty of times but have never been treated the way I was today. I am disgusted and frustrated over the way I was treated today. I understand doing your job and avoiding underage drinking, but the extent it was taken to today as well as the comments made to me were extremely uncalled for. read more

Been a customer at other locations but went to West Plano tonight. I picked up a few things for a party and when I went to check out I was fortunate enough to meet Cindy. She offered some suggestions for me to try like Tower Vodka and some local wines. I picked up what she suggested and my party was an amazing success and for much less money than I planned on spending. I am so thankful that I ran into Cindy and that she took the time to really help me. I will definitely be a regular customer at West Plano form now on.
