I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with my experience at TotalCare Irvine. I had an appointment scheduled on January 8th at 2:00 PM as a telephone appointment. This appointment was booked a month in advance because I urgently needed my health form completed for a very important interview. Before scheduling, I clearly asked the receptionist if the form could be completed over the phone or if I needed to come in person. I was explicitly told it could be done over the phone and that I did not need to come in. First of all, the appointment time itself was not respected. The doctor did not call me until 5:42 PM, which is nearly four hours late. This is not a one-time issue -- it seems to be their routine. They are never on time and there is always a delay of 1-2 hours minimum, which is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. When the doctor finally called and started asking me questions, she suddenly said that the form cannot be completed over the phone and that I would need to come in person. This was extremely frustrating because I had clearly confirmed this in advance. Due to their mistake and miscommunication, I was then apologized to and convinced by their staff to come in the next morning at 8:00 AM for an in-person appointment. I arrived at the clinic early in the morning, went to the front desk, and was then told that I do not have an 8:00 AM appointment. After checking their system, the receptionist said, "Sorry, you are scheduled for 10:30 AM." This is absolutely ridiculous and completely inappropriate. I rearranged my schedule and came early based on their confirmation, only to find out they once again failed in scheduling properly. This clinic has serious issues with scheduling, communication, and punctuality. Patients' time is clearly not respected. Between the extreme delays, misinformation, and appointment errors, this experience has been stressful, frustrating, and unacceptable -- especially when dealing with urgent matters. I would not recommend TotalCare Irvine to anyone who values their time, professionalism, and reliable healthcare service. This has been a very disappointing experience. read more

As a heartbroken mother, I warn all Irvine parents: STAY AWAY from this unethical clinic! 1. Traumatizing Minor Children: We paid $1970 for a family I-693 exam. Their incompetent staff subjected my 3yo and 7yo to 3 failed, painful skin punctures. My 7yo son was subjected to a horrific, 3-minute-long failed needle probing. My son were crying hysterically, yet the staff hostiled and blamed my traumatized children for their own technical failure. 2. Billing Fraud & Coercion: They failed the service in Irvine and refused an on-site refund. Instead, they extorted an ADDITIONAL $50 per child ($100 total, receipt attached) just to refer us to Rowland Heights an hour away! 3. Deceptive Communication: They advertise "Mandarin" to attract immigrants. Yet when the conflict arose, THREE staff members with distinct Chinese faces shamelessly pretended they couldn't speak a word of Chinese, forcing us to use a translation app to dodge responsibility. read more

This was the best Medical clinic I've been to in the OC. I just moved to the OC and was looking to have my annual physical done. However, I was having bad looking for a new doctor as everyone was booked, didn't take new patients, or you have to meet before your physical. It was very stressful. But then I saw this Medical clinic and I called them. I told them I need it to have my annual physical done today and was wondering if they can squeezed me in. Luckily, they were able to do so because I have Aetna insurance, you don't need to make an appointment and can just walk in. As soon as I arrived to the office, the receptionist took care of me right away. I was literally there for just 30 minutes. This is how doctor's office visits should be. They were very professional, attentive and provided me excellent care. I would recommend them to anyone who's looking for a new/better doctor. read more

This clinic even offers patients Sunday appointments and I was surprised that any practitioner would work on Sundays. Went to my appointment, plenty of parking spots were available. I was actually on my way for weekend grocery shopping, but I was also able to complete my annual wellness exam and flu shot for the year. Staffs were awesome to provide me with health info that I was unaware. The quality of care is above my expectation and I highly recommend any busy working professionals who can't afford to take a break to stop by the clinic on weekdays, this is the opportunity to take a great advantage for better health ! read more

Because of her age, it was not easy for her to express herself clearly, and her explanations were sometimes repetitive. However, with his professionalism, attentiveness, and keen clinical insight, Dr. Wang was able to accurately identify the cause of her problem and provide practical treatment recommendations, as well as helpful advice for her daily care and lifestyle. I had a wonderful experience with TotalCare. The PA Jacquelyn Sander was very efficient, caring, and listened to my concerns. Even though it was a telemed appointment over the phone, she made me feel very comfortable. The front office staff was very welcoming over the phone and quickly set up the telemed appointment for me that same week. I found TotalCare Walk-In Clinic looking through Google search as I was in need of immediate care for my nausea. I couldn't believe they were open so late during the week and even on weekends. The Doctor was compassionate and understanding even though I was probably cranky from being in pain. I had a wonderful experience at this place in Irvine. The place is super clean, waiting area is nice and clean with nice relaxing music. I took my mom for some blood test and paperwork for Inmigration. Michelle at the front desk is super nice, patient, really knowledgeable, and really helpful while we were filling out the paperwork. He completed my son's High School sports clearance form for only $35, the cheapest and quickest in Irvine! The physician assistant that I saw was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. In addition, the office staff was very friendly and efficient. I used to go to another urgent care before. Staff was nice. Charged $100 for my visit. I had an eye infection. Dr. Looked at my eye, agreed it was an eye infection. Wrote up my prescription. I asked if he had any drops for the pain and he said no. Out the door I went in the same pain I had going in. Waste of $100!! read more
