My experience at the urgent care was disappointing. Despite waiting nearly 2 hours (on the website it says the average wait time is 22 mins), my lab results were unavailable, and the doctor prescribed medication without considering my test results based on my feelings!!! The condition I have I have never had before, and she just took my word for it... I did not even get a chance to ask follow up questions or anything. The lack of attention to my concerns made me feel overlooked and undervalued as a patient. The overall care and communication were far from satisfactory. What an unprofessional mess. I took my mom to this place 3 times so far I prefer this one over other locations including the one near my house. However it's a bit far from where I live. Receptionists are friendly and helpful. Both Jackie, PA and NP (forgot her name) were very knowledgeable and helpful. They tried hard to optimize the process and care for my mom (I am a medical professional so I know). You know you are in the right hands when the doctor didn't ask you questions, didn't try to listen to the problem and tells you that you are fine and nothing she can do for you! Never have I came across a doctor so caring of her patient in my life. I must say, the enforced placebo effect would do the trick no matter what issues you might have. Best to keep it to yourself because doctor didn't want to hear it! This has got to be the best hour plus of waiting that's worthy of my time. Anyone who wants the best care you can get, do consider coming here, you will not regret waiting, no matter how long, for the REAL professional. I was looking for a new PCP and Dr Zhang was on my plan. I had an ear infection and soar throat. When I went in. The front office staff were very polite and courteous. This is a busy clinical office, I did not have to wait too long. (something about me, I don't mind waiting for good care) so my wait time may be different from everyone else. 1 hr is nothing for me. That being said, Dr, Zhang took the time to listen to what was going on, asked me questions and asked if I was ok with the plan she came up with. I'm no stranger to doctors, I was happy with what was discussed. I will be making the change for Dr. Zhang to be my PCP. read more

My visit was related to a medical clearance, so it was very brief but I thought that I'd leave a review because the staff was very accommodating and efficient. The space was also very clean and quiet at the time of my visit. If you're a person who uses UC SHIP just know that they do not take that insurance but have an option to pay out of pocket. I had a good experience first time coming in with a throat ache. Was seen within 20 minutes on a Monday morning. The doctor prescribed antibiotic. Today, Sunday, I was the first to arrive at the door before it was even open. Once inside I provided ID and insurance card for my daughter to be seen. We waited for 45 minutes and saw some people walking in and immediately inside the office to be seen. The employee told me the first ones were the people already scheduled, and that they had people scheduled every 15 minutes, which would make it impossible to us to be seen. The clinic should not be advertising as WALK IN. It should have a disclaimer: walk in and wait for all the patients on schedule of 15 min interval to be seen before you, no matter if you arrived before it open or you have any urgency. read more

After being turned away from another urgent care 2 hours before their scheduled closing I found total care in chino and they were so kind and helpful. The receptionist let me know it would be an hour and a half wait but I was willing to wait that long due to my symptoms. Then she asked if I would be ok with a tele visit and I said yes. Efficient but thorough phone appointment that got me the medication refill I needed.

I had a culture done at this office and somehow they lost it cause there is no record of me having one done. I had another test done and the doctor called me with my results and didn't mention an infection. I was confused because I was having symptoms so I called again and asked for a copy of my results. Turns out I do have infection and the dr. missed it. I called and told the receptionist and asked if he could send a message to the dr. that my results were positive and to please send something to the pharmacy. He refused and said I would need to make another appointment. This office is just trying to make money and the fact that they never sent one of my tests to the lab isn't okay. Also, they never follow up with referrals. I called and they had told me they were having issues with my insurance. So why wouldn't anyone call me to tell me that? I work in health care, so I know what they're doing isn't okay. read more

The place is small but it is accommodating and prompt to resolve the issues I had. They look like taking most of insurances but call before to make sure. I was worried I wouldn't be able to get seen by anyone but lucky enough I was referred here and got a same day Appointlent with Jaquelyn and she was honestly AWESOME. I experienced what appears to be a gout flare-up in the last two days. My hope to avoid taking meds didn't last so well; the unbearable pain quickly swayed me to look for prescription drugs recommended by my pharmacist friends. First thing in the morning, I Yelp searched an open urgent care. I contacted TotalCare, and the receptionist (Michelle L.) was able to quickly create a new patient record for me and schedule me for a visit over the phone. After about 15 min, Dr. Wang called me, diagnosed me, and prescribed me medication.
