So so happy this is here in slo!! Such great lattes and Korean treats. Let's try to keep this a best kept secret lol! The mango Bingsoo was delightful. I can't wait to try the rest!! The hot taiyaki was such a great balance (red bean one ofc) to the cold treat. The Sakura latte I had was perfect as well, I had always wanted to try one and did not disappoint! Let's support such a great business who's owners pour their hearts into our special needs community. I love how this cafe is open late, definitely much needed after a long day at work and I can't wait to take more of my friends and family to this wonderful place. Such great service and friendly staff! ^-^

I love their mission and the desserts are also so good! Perfect for a warm day in SLO. It's pretty small inside but cute and clean.

After hearing about a new Korean dessert spot in the area my friends and I were eager to try out Touch by Angles Cafe. Located in the small shopping center near Smart & Final, there is plenty of parking available. Although the outside of the cafe looks very simple, the inside has a very inviting modern theme that is well decorated. The workers were very kind and welcoming. We ordered their small mango bingsoo and chocolate bingsoo, along with some custard and chocolate taiyaki. We received the order pretty quickly and were pretty happy with all of it. The mango bingsoo was very refreshing and not too sweet, and what was especially nice is that they layer the toppings throughout the desert, instead of only at the top which I really liked. The taiyaki was fine, but I would likely stick with the chocolate or try the red bean, as the custard one tasted a bit bland. Overall Touch by Angles Cafe is a great addition to the desert scene in SLO, and something we will definitely return to soon!

I think this place is slapped on! Went by on Sunday around 3pm and there wasn't really any people. We entered and easily ordered on a kiosk. We got the mango bing soo and two Taiyaki, one chocolate, one custard. The mango Korean shaved ice was heaven. It simply melted in your mouth and had a great soft mango flavor and the mango was sweet and ripe on top. I got extra condensed milk which I received on the side but it wasn't really necessary. We weren't as big of a a fan of the Taiyakis. The custard one had a better flavor but overall the waffle tasted somewhat raw with an unfamiliar taste. Would not buy again but will be back to try more flavors of the bing soo!

Super excited to find out that SLO now has bingsoo! There are days when I crave bingsoo and now that SLO has one, my boyfriend doesn't have to suffer with my cravings. We got the salura latte and the small mango bingsoo. The mango was sweet and the ice was so so soft it was lovely. It's so different from American shaved ice because it doesn't give you any brain freeze! The Sakura latte was lacking in flavor which was disappointing but it did look cute.

Nice place, good desserts! The Bingsoo was fluffy, creating a delightful texture. We tried the taro and red bean ones. The red bean delivered a creamy and distinct taste, while the taro flavor offered a sweet and satisfying flavor profile. The service was excellent, with attentive staff. The ambiance of the place was inviting, with cozy seating and a charming atmosphere that complemented the indulgent desserts perfectly. I would recommend to try to anyone seeking Korean desserts!

Crave something refreshing and sweet? Try bingsoo, Korean shaved ice. This cute shop is clean, inviting, spacious, and gives you the option of ordering on a touchscreen or to a staff person at the counter. We ordered the chocolate and coffee flavors. We loved how the finely shaved ice melted the instant you taste it, so smooth, cold, and scrumptious. We also tried the taiyaki which was fresh and chocolatey.

Came by for bingsoo. Decided on their taro version. Dessert came out timely and was visually pleasing. Taro version was very good but I'd probably give the lean to their mango version I had before. I wish they had a version that adds a scoop of ice cream like an Ube flavor. Regular size is more of a 2+ person dessert. I was by myself and it was a bit too much dessert for me.

Atmosphere Angel has an icy wonderland feel with white walls and whimsical furniture, creating a cozy, wintery study café vibe. It's a cute spot, perfect for the SLO community. Food The bingsu here is delightful, though the portions are smaller and pricier than expected. The mango bingsu stands out with its sour tang balanced by the sweetness of condensed milk. The strawberry bingsu is also a great choice, offering a soft, fresh sweetness. The taiyakis were just okay--some lacked filling, which was a bit disappointing. Service The staff is super nice, mostly made up of college students, adding to the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Overall Angel is a charming spot in SLO to enjoy a rare treat like bingsu, despite the smaller portions and higher prices. It's a great addition to the community, especially for those looking for a unique dessert experience.

My coworkers and I went to Touch by Angels Cafe after work for some dessert. It was a cute little cafe, very bright, and relaxing. I had a mango bingsu and custard taiyaki. The bingsu was delicious! The taiyaki did not have the traditional bean paste option so I was a little disappointed. They were made to order and was scorching hot. Literally burned my esophagus. The orders took a little long but that's pretty normal when places are new. I would definitely go back again.

One of my new favorite places to get a sweet treat, I love how they offer such a unique dessert in the SLO area. I got the chocolate taiyaki and it was much lighter and smoother than regular chocolate. The service time is long but it allows the taiyaki to get crispy so I think it's worth it. Bingsoo was delicious and refreshing. The prices are great and it's very nice and clean inside. There are outlets so it's the perfect place to study. The only downside is that they are still new so a bit disorganized. My friend is allergic to nuts and they couldn't remember which taiyaki plate was red bean (with nuts) and which one was chocolate.. this is a pretty major error and can be really dangerous when allergies are involved

Dairy-free mango bingsu with quince and balloon tea

This is the ONLY place that I've found dairy-free bingsu! You get to choose between almond or soy milk as the base and either taro, red bean, or mango for your toppings. The base isn't too sweet so it balances the toppings out. I chose the regular size, but was able to share it with no problems. Other than the bingsu, the decor and overall aesthetic was cute. There were so many tea varieties that I didn't even know about until this store. My quince balloon tea had a mellow roasted flavor.

Who would have thought that i could get such a great meal at a sort-of Asian place?? Most folks were ordering pho, and I will be back for that when I am in the pho mood!!

I've eaten at many Vietnamese restaurants across the…read morecountry, and my overall impression was that this felt more like a fast-casual or fast-food Vietnamese restaurant than a traditional sit-down experience. You order at the counter and are given a number. Since they weren't very busy, they brought the food to my table, which I appreciated. The prices were on the high side, though fairly typical for many Vietnamese restaurants in California. I ordered the pork platter with rice and fried egg rolls. The portion size was about right. The rice was fine--nothing particularly memorable. The pork was a generous serving and had visible grill marks, but it didn't seem freshly grilled. It appeared to have been grilled previously and then reheated. It was served hot, but the texture and presentation were not what I would expect from freshly grilled meat. Fresh off the grill would have made a noticeable difference. The egg rolls were crispy on the outside, but the filling was dry and fairly unremarkable. They weren't bad, but they weren't a standout item either. The plate also came with iceberg lettuce, sliced tomato, cucumber, and pickled carrot and radish. The cucumber was fine, while the pickled vegetables were a bit more sour than I prefer. The biggest surprise was the dipping sauce for the egg rolls. Instead of the typical Vietnamese dipping sauce, which is usually one of my favorite parts of the meal, this version had quite a bit of chili added and was much spicier than expected. Some people may enjoy that, but it wasn't what I was anticipating. Overall, the meal was good, but not memorable enough to justify going out of my way for it. The prices felt a little high given the fast-food atmosphere. If I happened to be in the area again, I might stop in and give it another try, but I wouldn't make a special trip to return.
