Online order, everything is $0.5 more expensive than their regular menu

The rice has vinegar which is good, other than that everything is fine, the service is very slow tho, I need to wait 45min for my order but they are not busy because it's Monday, however, they forgot to give my entree when I picked up the food, I called in for a refund, but the lady who picked up the call said she need to check with manager then she will call me back, however, she never called me back, but they did refund me.

My partner and I arrived to SLO and wanted sushi that evening and saw the good reviews of Arigato Sushi so we wanted to check it out! We arrived around 7PM with a wait time of around 10-15 minutes. We were able to choose our seats afterwards and there was a good variety of options of appetizers, rolls, and sashimi. We ordered the regular edamame, aged dashi tofu (not Agadashi tofu in this case), salmon nigiri, cut salmon roll, and the Chef Charashi. The fish was fresh, the sauce that came with the tofu was good - similar to a vinegar fish sauce and the tofu was crunchy. The restaurant was clean and had a nice ambience. The staff were nice and attentive. It seemed like a popular spot amongst the local college students and families.

Incredibly unassuming being located in a strip mall. But, aren't some of the best places unassuming and tucked away? It was a Saturday night in August in this college town and my boyfriend found Arigato on Yelp so we decided to check it out! Parking is easy because -- strip mall. There were a few patrons in for dinner and they have a cool, sushi bar to watch the chefs create their masterpieces. We opted to sit at a two-seater table by the sushi bar so we could watch at a distance. We had a young waiter who was so sweet but may have been new and was a bit clumsy with the forgetfulness (but he gets a pass, it's hard when you're new and we weren't in a rush)! We Definitely got far too much food but it was all delicious from the veggie tempura to our own helpings of the Philly roll to an avocado roll. Yum! I had a Diet Coke, he had Sprite. If we were local, we'd be regulars! Cute decor, fair prices, no frills, all good. Thank you so much and keep up the good work!

Been on the hunt for a good sushi spot in SLO that doesn't break the bank, and am so glad I finally tried Arigato Sushi! We came here on a Sunday night and were seated immediately at a table by the sushi bar. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food came out quick. Great spot for takeout, or even a casual date night/ group dinner. We ordered two rolls from the "All Day Happy Hour" menu which ranged from $9.99 to $11.99, and also ordered a specialty roll. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of everything we ordered, especially considering the reasonable prices. The fish tasted super fresh and we loved the crunchy texture of the Red Hot Night Roll and the Super Dragon Roll. We ordered 2 miso soups, 1 order of edamame, 3 sushi rolls, and a beer for only $55. Overall, if you're craving sushi and looking for affordable prices, this place is hard to beat! The staff is polite, the food comes out quick, and the "all day happy hour" has a variety of rolls that are flavorful and delicious. I will definitely be back to try other menu items.

Service here was great! Staff was friendly and our food came out quick. The rolls here are to die for. I highly recommend the Santa Maria roll. Quaint and quiet and a great place for sushi!

affordable sushi that is decent quality and won't break the bank. went here bc goshi was closed. with tax and tip, came out to about $40/person. ordered the spicy garlic edamame (wouldn't recommend), 2 oyster shooters, and the 10 pc sushi/sashimi combo. sat at the bar and received excellent customer service from the sushi chef. they have a $8 sake/large beer combo

I've came and eaten at Arigato many times since my first review and sadly, I've just gotten more disappointed everytime I visit. This time, we made a reservation for a party of 11 (only 10 came). It was pretty busy and so we already kind of knew how the service was going to be. We had to stand for a little bit maybe 7 minutes before getting seated and then we didn't get menus until about 15 minutes after being seated. The server then came to us and let us know that it took awhile to get menus because there weren't available but it would've been nice to be updated because we were all just confused. Eventually we got our menus and ordered. Our food took so long to come out and the sushi was already cold (some were baked and would've been nice to eat is hot). Then one of the sushi rolls got mixed up with another table and so one of my friends didn't get his second one until it was time to pay for the bill. The servers didn't ask how our food was, if we needed anything else (we had to get up and get our soy sauce for ourselves as well). The food is very food for its price but the service has been lacking everytime we go.

At this time, Nomo Domo offers six varieties of ramen (one is gluten-free). As their menu states, "FROM BONE TO BROTH EVERY BOWL IS A CULMINATION OF TIME PATIENCE, AND THE ART OF LAYERING FLAVORS". We started with three appetizers: Enoki Chips, Karaage Chicken and an order of their Ebi Shumai. The Enoki Chips are delicate enoki mushrooms fried until golden crisp and they had a rich umami. Nomo Domo's portion of Karaage Chicken is not large in the number of pieces, but the appetizer consisted of large, thick and juicy pieces of chicken. Even though they double-fry the pieces for a perfect crunchy treat, the chunks are not overcooked as so many eateries tend to do - crispy outside with a moist, tender inside. The Karaage is served with lemon and wasabi mayo. If plumb, well-filled dumplings are the comfort food you crave, the Ebi Shumai will fill that need. The serving size is four well-filled pieces. They are served with hot mustard and pinzu vinaigrette (on the side), and topped with a shrimp. Our middle course was the Hon Maguro Bluefin Tuna shashimi. It consisted of five pieces of seasonal Bluefin Tuna from Nagasaki, Japan, which is prized for its buttery texture and refined flavor. Of course we had to try their ramen on our first visit here, so we chose their Seared Pork Belly Tonkotsu ramen. The creamy pork bone broth was mild in flavor. The ramen was missing the listed Mayu Black Garlic Oil ingredient on the menu, however overall the ramen was excellent. Nomo Domo has fantastic menu selections - be sure to check for the most up-to-date online menu for current offerings and price point. The interior and patio seating area's atmosphere was upscale, clean and very delightful. The staff is wonderful and friendly. But one request: bring selections out in stages, not one directly after another, or all at the same time.

Our first order took forever to arrive, it took forever before anyone came back to take our second order, and then it took forever for that second round of sushi to make it to the table. For an all-you-can-eat restaurant, that's a pretty big problem because you're spending more time waiting than eating. To make matters worse, if you're a party of six, they automatically add gratuity. Normally I don't mind tipping for good service, but in this case, the service definitely didn't earn it. I also ordered a beer. Funny enough, they had no problem adding it to the bill, but somehow never managed to bring me the actual beer. We had to point it out before paying. As for the sushi...it was just mid. Nothing really stood out, and even my kids who are usually pretty easy to impress when it comes to sushi, weren't impressed. If your goal is simply to stuff your gills with unlimited, average sushi and you don't mind spending a lot of time waiting, this may be your place. Unfortunately, between the slow service, automatic gratuity, forgotten drink, and mediocre food, this wasn't a restaurant we'll be rushing back to.
