Poor Customer Service…read more We took our dog in on Sunday morning to get checked out for a stomach bug. We decided to have her hospitalized and treated, and signed the paper stating we understood that the emergency clinic closed at 8AM Monday morning, so pickup or arrangements needed to be made earlier. We called to check on the dog Sunday afternoon and see if she could be picked up. The tech told us that they wanted to watch her for a while longer, and told us that they would contact us in the morning to let us know if she was ready to go home. We heard nothing further. We got a call after 8AM on Monday from a tech who told my wife that they were closed and we would need to pick up the dog ASAP. We hadn't been told that our dog was ready to go home and to prep for discharge, so I was at work, and my wife was prepping kids and on her way to an appointment. My wife tried to explain that we had been waiting to hear the update from their clinic as we were instructed, but the tech wouldn't listen. I also called to attempt to explain the situation, and the tech said "We can go back and forth all day if you want to, but you signed the paper that said you understood we closed at 8AM. If you don't pick up the dog, you'll need to pay for an exam and boarding from the other office that's here." The tech was rude, uninterested in listening to us, and the staff didn't follow up as promised. I understand what we signed. We made the mistake of trusting the information that the staff gave us when we called to be up to date and accurate. When I got there, the tech had highlighted my signature and initial sections, and re-emphasized when we should pick the pets up next time. If we have any other option, there won't be a next time.

I was in a panic because my Service Dog had bloated overnight and was in major pain. I am so greatful for how kind and knowlegable they were. And thankful that a horrible outcome was made easier knowing that he didn't have to suffer until my vet opened on Monday. I thought the price was more then fair and the service was excellent. Everyone I delt with was very gentle and kind. I am so greatful that we have a vet option after hours and weekends in our area.

I've been using the Poo Police for my yard pick-up for about two years now. I've always been…read moreextremely happy with their clean-up service and my interaction with everyone in the company. They are always great about being sure to be at my house for clean-up early so they are done before my lawn guy comes. When the dogs are home they always greet them with a cookie and know them by name (which is a huge plus in my book!). They are great about make sure my gate is closed all the way (it sticks sometimes so I appreciate that). There's nothing better than leaving in the morning and knowing that my grass will be cleared when I get home in the evening. I've referred Tim and his crew to a few of my dog friends, my lawn guy has referred them to some of his customers because he's been impressed with their service as well.

Poo Police Stole From Me!!…read more I hired the Poo Police to pick up in my aging parents yard over in Coeur d' Alene. They loved the idea. So the crew came over and cleaned their yard. A "big" pickup/initial visit will set you back $50. Great. So the next week, crew returns to pick up the yard. After starting, my parents sent them away saying they didn't need their yard to be serviced again. My stepmom places a call to Poo Police to ask why they are there. (She didn't understand that I was paying for weekly service). She never got a returned phone call. I didn't even know they were turned away until 2 weeks later when Tim Eide (owner) finally emailed me to let me know and could I please talk to my parents. Sure thing. So I did and explained that I paid for weekly service because, unfortunately, that's all they offer. Crew comes out on week 3... turned away before even beginning work. I'm charged for this as well. Crew doesn't come out on week 4... still charged. I write Tim Eide back explaining that my parents don't want the weekly service and let's just keep the funds there and I will continue to just pay for a "big" clean-up every other month or so. Tim writes back that he was never given any notice not to come out so I will be charged $50 + $30 ($10/wk for 3 weeks... work was only done ONE of these weeks). So in light of his email, I call him. No phone call returned. I email him to tell him I called him. No email returned. I call him again on Friday. No phone call returned. I call him again on Monday. STILL no phone call returned. So finally, I send another email. THEN... I request my money back via PayPal. On Wednesday (5/9/2012) I finally get a return phone call from Tim. He was not attempting to be accommodating at all. Told me he receives 25+ voicemails per day and that he never communicated with my stepmom. (Duh, he never called her back!). Told me he didn't have to deal with this. I was not getting my money back. He also said he records his conversations. And I sincerely hope he saves the one we had because it should be played for Business 101 college students everywhere. I would have been willing to pay for the partial clean the first time that they were sent away. I am not willing (or responsible) for the times they came out after that in which his crew did no service. A call was made, a call was not returned. Seems to me that communicating with your clients is just good business. AND what it says on his voicemail message "We will return all calls within 24 hours". Simply not true. He informed me that he is running 3 businesses from his home and cannot get to everyone. Sorry, guy, this is not my problem. I am sympathetic, but you also don't get to charge me for weeks you didn't clean because you didn't return the phone calls that were made to you. Oh... and by the way, when I was first hiring them, he was available to answer my calls and talk as soon as I called... once I was a customer, I was just an income stream and someone he no longer had to deal with because he already had my money. And for the record, I never entered into any contract with Tim/Poo Police as to the Terms and Conditions of his pickup service. I hope you think 3 times before using Poo Police. Update: 5/12/2012 -- Money was returned to my PayPal Account and for that I am thankful. However, I still would never choose to do business with someone who handles things in this manner.
