We have a white Mazda CX-5 that got hit with a grocery cart, which caused several paint chips on one of the doors and the metal was showing through. I tried to touch them up myself with a Mazda paint pen, but the pearl white color didn't touch up well and it looked WAY worse after I did that. I was so bummed. I found Japeth on Yelp and he said he could do a full repair, or just touch-up to hide the chips. If he did a touch-up, he could fix what I had done with the paint pen and he would also go around the entire car and touch-up every other chip and scratch on the car for only $175. My husband and I were really happy to hear that price because we were on a budget, so we booked him. Because we only wanted to pay for touch-up (not full repair), Japeth set our expectations by making it clear beforehand that it wasn't going to look perfect. He said the paint would match 90-95% and you would still be able to see the chips if you got close up, but we were totally fine with that. We just wanted the paint to look better and to not see any exposed metal. He came to our house and did the touch-up painting in our garage in about an hour and a half. (There were a lot of chips and scratches beyond what's in the pics.) When he was done, we were amazed with how well it turned out! Japeth fixed the mess I made with the paint pen and matched the pearl white color almost perfectly. He even buffed out some large marks that didn't require painting. Yes, you can see the outline of the bigger chips if you get really close up, but they don't catch your eye at all. And the smaller chips that he touched up are almost invisible. Now, you just see a white car. It was totally worth $175! I wish I had taken more "Before" pics, but the three I am attaching show the huge difference to the "After" pics. Additionally, I referred Japeth to my mom who hired him too. She has a white Honda and the bumper looked horrible with big chips and scratches all over it. She also had small chips on the rest of her car and her side mirror looked really bad. She had Japeth do a full repair on her bumper as well as the touch-ups to the rest of her car, so she paid $425. Still a great price! Japeth made her bumper look brand new! And you can't see all the other chips and scratch touch-ups unless you get very, very close. Her car looks amazing! I can't rave enough about Japeth's work.
