If I could give this company more than five stars, I absolutely would, for their outstanding customer service. They truly came to our rescue; while my kids and I were on vacation the bracket for our sunroof had broken, and although the dealership identified the issue, they couldn't complete the repair before we had to make the eight-hour drive home and right as severe thunderstorms were expected along our route. We were referred here, and even though they knew the repair ultimately had to be completed by the dealership, they didn't turn us away. Instead, they carefully inspected the sunroof, explained exactly what had failed, and then went above and beyond by using a strong adhesive plastic to securely seal the sunroof so we could make the drive home safely. Their customer service was exceptional. They had no obligation to help us, yet they took the time to ensure that we could get home safely. That level of kindness, professionalism, and genuine care is something you don't see every day. I can't thank them enough and would highly recommend this company to anyone. read more

I took my 17-year old BMW to Perfection because it needed a little facelift! The car runs like a top and I know I'm going to get several more years out of it. However, the paint had oxidized and faded over the years and was looking pretty bad. Perfection restored it and now it looks like it did the day I bought it! They even redid my faded and peeling sport racks and restored my headlights. They are very professional, reliable and the cost was extremely reasonable for the excellent work! read more

Diane interacted with my insurance company in a timely matter, and was a great advocate as all the damage she found not originally noticed from Insurance estimate (which was from photos only) was approved. Definitive diligence within the remarkable work performed at Perfection. An unsightly accident-caused incident led me to Perfection over the howls of recommendation toward elsewhere(!) from a friend who works at a large dealership. Funny that, since most (new) dealerships no longer do body work. That thought in mind and a good idea of who Perfection is, I strode over to olde Pacific Highway, past the County nut house facility, a genuinely famous old nursery with a giant magnolia tree, right next to a tow yard with a bunch of angry looking people standing around out front begrudgingly paying for some impounds, repo's or something else equally distressing. Here lies the Perfection of Perfectionist, known as (what else?) Perfection Auto Body, the clinic specialists of fine auto body art conquering and restoring bedraggled buckets to their original state of beauty and charm. The entire procedure went as blissful as a manicure with an English speaking toenail technician, 4 days to be precise. Just being truthful, all went very well. No chips, dips or blips on that fine steel physique. The auto is now as good looking post-repair as it was when it left it's original Motown factory, one would never know the underlying circumstances. I can only wish my girlfriends body would look as provocative as the newly repaired curves on my shiny ride now does (honk-honk). Perfection does exactly as it is named. read more

Terrible customer service! Would give zero stars if possible. The front fender and side door panel that was painted had orange peel and over spray. They left trash in the hood of the vehicle. Also looks like the painter didn't wash his hands before driving the vehicle leaving paint residue on the steering wheel and controls. When confronted I was told "thats what I quoted you im not fixing it" so much for "perfection auto body" stay away find a better place to do business with. read more

We had a bumper repair and broken tail light on our '07 GS Lexus and the repairs along with pristine wash when they finished work made me fall in love with the car again. I can't say enough about this shop, I bought a used F-150 that had some front end body and concealed frame damage. The tailgate was falling off and wouldn't latch either. I had picked up some parts off of Craig's list and brought the truck in on a recommendation from Hillcrest Smog. Without batting an eye or turning me away they went to work. A week later it was done and looks like a new truck, everything is aligned and working perfectly. Price was within the original estimate despite finding hidden damage. I took my car to Perfection based off the reviews on this site. I figured people who reviewed actually paid attention to their car, right? They didn't just pick it up and call it a day. Skip to the bottom if this is too long I had the unfortunate luck to have to take my car in to a shop twice in the span of a couple of months. The first time, my car was rear ended by a drunk driver. The driver's insurance wasn't the best and didn't have many contracts with many places, but Perfection was the closest place to me so I took my car there. Dianne was helpful in getting it in quickly and getting the work done fast. Unfortunately, the hours here are horrible, so the only time I could pick my car up was during my lunch break. I picked it up, took a quick look at it while there then went back to work. When I had more time to look, I found that it was a crap job. The hatch had been replaced entirely, BUT it was misaligned. Inside of my car I found left over pieces and tools, discarded like my car was some kind of trash can. When I called Dianne, she told me to take my car in, which I did again. She told me they were waiting for a missing piece and that would solve it. Um. Excuse me. She chose to tell me about MISSING pieces AFTER I had picked my car up. Was she not going to tell me if I hadn't gone back? She then told me that if the missing pieces didn't work then "maybe thats just the way the door fit" Three weeks went by and I didn't hear back about the pieces. So, I called. She told me to go to Ford so that they could see what the pieces were. Really? Isn't that their job. I had missed enough work because of them, but took my car anyway. All that was missing was some screws. Another two weeks went by and the same day that they called me to tell me that the pieces had arrived, I got into a car acciident-- this time on the front end. I chose to take my car back to Dianne because Ford would charge me $60 per day I couldn't pick up my car. At this time I was in the final stages of packing to move to London for a year, so I wouldn't be the one to pick up the car. Dianne told me she would work with my mom to pick up the car from Orange County and that they would fix the rear latch with the front. I left to London and my mom picked the car up around two weeks later. She called me when she did and told me that the rear hatch was still misaligned. TWO TIMES and the hatch still wasn't fixed. She took the car to Ford and the inspector found more things wrong. 1. Parts used for the front were not ford 2. Other parts that were used to fix my car were previously used (pre-owned?) They called Dianne and she denied this. She said she wouldn't pay to fix everything. It was one thing or the other. The front or the back. I had told Dianne before I left that my mom would be in charge of the car while I was gone, so of course, she goes and emails me asking me to go in because she was sure I'd spoke with my mother about the issues. I found this EXTREMELY rude. She knew I would be gone for a year and that my mother was in charge. To shorten this, my mother has had to get the Bureau of Automotive Repair involved, because Dianne refuses to fix her "work". The inspector went to my mom and inspected the car and found 1. The parts were not Ford 2. Some were used 3. The rear hatch is apparently not even Ford 4. Food stains and rings in the back seat indicating someone ate in my car... this is a BRAND NEW 2014 Escape, so not me. Hopefully this Bureau will help because I am extremely disappointed in this shop. Kind exterior but the work doesn't match up. Would not trust my car to them again. Wish I hadn't in the first place. read more

I went in once to get a quote on fixing the frame of my door because my stupid a** drove through my garage with my bike on my bike rack and it ripped the whole rack off and bent my door frame on the process. They took my car and said be right back, ten minutes later they said ok it's done, free of charge! I was amazed and could not be more thankful. So a few months later I got in an accident and knew right away that this was the shop I would take my car to get fixed. One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a business. Took in my classic Celica Convertible to have the rear bumper repaired after being rear-ended. Got the proposal, which was acceptable, Returned the next week to leave my car for two days. I received a call from Chris saying my car was ready to be picked up two days later. I arrived after getting a ride to the shop, and took a look at my car. Before I even saw the bumper, I noticed an area on the spoiler where the paint had been scraped off! This was approximately 3 inches x 1/2 inch. The black paint was completely rubbed off, right down to the metal! The whole spoiler had scratches and smears that were definitely not there when I brought it in. I immediately notified Chris, who said she knew nothing about it. She then got Diane (Manager?) who also said she knew nothing about it. I told them both this was new, and obviously was done by one of their employees. They went and brought back a "detailer", don't know his name. He admitted that he was the one who had done the damage, but tried to blame it on my car's paint!!! He said because the paint was old and thin that it "just rubbed off" while he was washing it normally. He said he did not use any "compounds" on the car. Oh no?? Then why even mention the word "compounds". He kept repeating himself over and over. I informed them that my car had been repainted a few years ago, the paint was not original, and not that old. I also told them my car is professionally hand washed and detailed on a regular basis, and always comes out looking shiny and beautiful. Their reaction: Diane threw up her hands and gave me a dirty look, and told me to calm down. Lady, you are the one who is not calm, I am merely stating to you that I know my own car's condition, and that i would like the damage caused by them to be repaired. Why would they tell a customer the car was repaired and ready when has this damage??? Did they think I would not notice??? They did agree to paint the spoiler, but never once apologized. Nor did they offer any compensation for the extra time I was without my car, another day and 1/2. I told them to just paint it only, do not wash, dust, or do anything else to my car. When I picked it up the paint jobs were both acceptable, but a button cover from my radio was missing. I didn't even bother to tell them, I just wanted out of there as soon as possible. Immediately from the get go they treated my car with respect and carefulness as if it were their own. They kept me informed and even though they were a little expensive I was very pleased with the work done and the time it took to completed. They run a good shop. Always friendly and very respectful. Zero stars if I could. They fixed the repairs the car was brought in for and left a new scratch on the back and damaged an interior reverse camera button. They cleverly backed the car in when we picked up, and we did not see the back or use the button when we left. They agreed to repair, based on insurance photos, but when we sent over the cost of the button from BMW, they immediately decided the photos were blurry. Outrageous and shady business practices, and we have informed our mechanic who referred them. Because they were not referred by the insurance, the insurance of the person who hit us will not pay for damages inflicted by Perfection Auto Body, even though there is proof. Save your car and go elsewhere with accountability. We are definitely warning our local friends and neighbors! read more

A few months ago they fixed an issue on my passenger door quickly and for much less money than I expected. I went back for the similar issue on another door today. "There's never time to do the job right, but there's always time to do it twice." Perfection Auto Body DID correct the half-dollar sized blemish on the right quarter panel of my vehicle. It was returned, however, with overspray, runs in the clearcoat, damage (Yes, DAMAGE) from an orbital sander and, inexplicably, polishing compound on the interior rear window sill, the rear bench seat and the back of the front passenger seat. Perfection Auto Body DID offer (sort of) to correct (sort of) these issues--apparently as long as it was at their convenience. Upon the second return the vehicle, the proprietress, inexplicably, apologized about the polishing compound that was (still) on the bench seat. (It was still on the window sill and the passenger seat as well.) The Yelp website touts Perfection Auto Body is "Woman Owned" among its other attributes. I guess that means they're just as, if not more so, capable of substandard work and poor customer service as businesses not owned by women? read more

It's rare that I'm thrilled with a auto shop; but, Perfection Auto handled my truck really well. Diane, the manager, was really cool and helpful while walking me through the repair process. They quoted me three business days for the service and they kept to it. I liked that she didn't use BIG words to keep me from asking questions about the repairs. I would have given five stars if they were open on Saturday (two extra days of driving rental cars).
