Absolute Nightmare. Car has been there since May, no work has been completed. Insurance already paid them $50k to fix the car and they haven't done a thing. My experience at Premier Collision Center was the absolute worst encounter with any repair shop in my life. Not only is the customer service rep, Ryan Cromer, a complete psychopath who snaps at people for calling to check on the repair status of their vehicles while continuously extending the repair time, but their license with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair to operate as a repair facility expired almost three years ago. *see screenshot image and link: http://www2.dca.ca.gov/pls/wllpub/WLLQRYNA$LCEV2.QueryView?P_LICENSE_NUMBER=251899&P_LTE_ID=1101 Those facts are overshadowed by their pathetic attempt to pass off my full size spare as the "reconditioned" wheel covered in my Geico repair estimate. They assumed I was too dumb to notice it was the wheel from my trunk when they stated they attempted to "recondition" the damaged wheel from the accident but some scratches remained. I knew the tire on the wheel was swapped because it didn't match the rest of the tires. At that point, I realized it was the full size spare from my trunk. They blatantly lied and did not know what to say when I called them out on it. The fraudulent actions and unprofessional nature of Premier Collision explain why they haven't been licensed to legally operate since 2014. Geico should be embarrassed for failing to perform periodic license/permit checks on their "certified" shops. My advice to anyone considering this shop is to run for the hills. Look into shops independent of Geico. Get referrals from family and friends, and go from there. Geico has a vested interest in their "certified" shops as these businesses offer them repairs at discounted rates. The result is YOU, the consumer, will receive horrendous customer service, and the kind of shoddy repairs you could expect to receive in Tijuana. Happy hunting :) read more

My insurance company suggested I go to a different shop and my friend had a bad experience there so I told them I want to go somewhere else and they suggested Premier collision. I went there to get an estimate and just check them out and I could see pretty quickly that the shop was well run and the manager addressed all my concerns and I left feeling comfortable their office staff called me every day to give me updates and they finished my collision damage in three days. Premier gets two stars because the work they did (when it was finally completed after numerous follow-ups) was decent and the employees I interacted with--Ryan and Nanette--were friendly. However, my overall experience with this business was dissatisfactory and I would not return. I ended up at Premier because of their partnership with my insurance company. The reviews looked good. I had high hopes. The work on my car--which was superficial and minor--ended up taking far longer than I ever would have expected. I was without a vehicle for six days just to repair a dent and some paint on the rear quarter panel and door. Despite having my car for almost a week and telling me it was completed and ready for pick up, I was informed when I got there that they actually had not reattached a piece of trim to the door (it was thrown in the trunk) and I would need to come back on another day to have the job finished. I was assured it would take five minutes and I didn't need an appointment. When I got into my car, I immediately realized that someone had gone through the console and my personal items. Fortunately I had taken out anything of actual value, but had left a small bag of change for parking meters. That bag had been emptied and tossed aside (the fact that it was out was what alerted me to the knowledge that someone had been allowed to go through my things and steal something). I am willing to give Premiere the benefit of the doubt and assume it was not an employee, but my car should never have been left unlocked and accessible to a thief. The value of the money stolen is completely insignificant, but the feeling of having had your belongings rifled through by an ill-intentioned stranger is nonetheless unsettling. Despite this, I did have to return to Premiere to have the trim finished. Although I "didn't need an appointment," I called ahead to make sure they had time for the "five minute" job that had to be completed. Needless to say, I waited for more than two hours and eventually was told I'd have to reschedule with their independent contractor for another day. (I had been repeatedly told that the gentleman was on his way and stuck in traffic, but when I did finally meet up with him at my home the next day, he told me that he informed them from the outset that he wasn't coming, so it's beyond me why they allowed me to wait that entire time.) read more

Oh my goodness where do I begin well one dreaded early morning someone hit my vehicle in front of my house and I call my insurance company Geico and they recommended Premiere Collision and that was my first mistake... going there when I should have just went to Chevy. But alas that was my insurance companies recommended shop and boy that was my first mistake as it turns out I went there and a Gentleman started working on my car that didn't speak a lick of English which just meant I couldn't communicate with him however Ryan Cromer called me a racist all loud like a madman and argue with me in the shop as if he even knew Anything about racism because I said, this guy doesn't speak any English and I cannot communicate with him but there was nobody there trying to translate either. That guy should have gotten written up but they didn't do it so thus here's my review. This guy pulled my car into the lift before I got anything out of it before I got my rental car so I could transfer things so I watch the Ryan guy trying to motion to pull my car back out of the lift because his asking wasn't going over well understandably because there was no one there to translate. Then they make you sign a paper that says you got to pay $120 if you want to take your car out of there after they disassembled it well they started disassembling my car way before I even got my things out of it cuz I would have ran the other way in a hurry. And being called a racist by some employee it's probably Just Cause to run the other way. Well I had to leave it there or pay $120 bucks which is crazy especially after the events that had it just occurred. I did like the fact that I could get a rental truck which was a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.7L Hemi in it, which has nothing to do with Premier believe me. I leave. In a week they call me to tell me my car is ready, however my front emblem is scratched up for whatever reason because it wasn't damaged when I took it to the shop so I kept the rental for the Labor Day holiday. They were also very cocky and telling me that my battery died (when I got there to pick up my car)and that they bought me another one which I find very unorthodox because I had a five-year warranty on that battery that is in the wind somewhere and they replaced it with one with a two year warranty but I'm disturbed because no one called me up to say "hey there miss young your battery died what would you like us to do"... thus I kept the rental for another week. And the space between the doors and the fender was not even and I couldn't relay how I am about that to the guy who worked on my vehicle nor could I explain my complicated aftermarket alarm and I'm sure they left the key on that's why the battery died because I didn't have any problems with it ever. They called me to come back and they had not matched the paint- not even close on my emblem and I tried to give them the paint color and the number, and truly all they had to do was look at my wheels and my rear license plate holder to see that the color wasn't even close. I painted it Breast Cancer Awareness "pink" as well as my brake dust seals that are on my wheels and my front and rear license plate holder (and the front one just disappeared even though I asked them not to throw it away). Then I brought my car home because I didn't know if I was authorized to keep the rental even longer without paying and there was one person at the shop great guy who owns an Indian motorcycle who probably couldn't have made that decision for me. Well I took my car home and immediately everyone could see the two inch difference in the bumper on one side and you can stick two hands under one side and no fingers under the other and aftermarket parts with all the cut marks in them because they had to cut a holes in it instead of buying one that had the holes already for my fog lights GM OEM equipment so I was Done-Completely Done with them and took it to Courtesy Chevrolet and they took care of everything except I have to go through the whole painstaking process of having my emblem and front license plate holder (which I have to buy again) painted Breast Cancer Awareness Pink instead of "hot chick pink" and then UV clear-coated!!! It was very important to have that particular pink because I do represent breast cancer awareness because someone in my family passed away from it! I wouldn't have left this review like this had they written up that individual that took it upon himself to call a "customer" a racist who I'm sure has no clue and has never experienced true racism as I have first hand!! Now on the brighter side of being there my adjuster Jon Mueller was absolutely wonderful. Now I "imagine" that they do most of their work well at that shop (for all the people that I didn't come in contact with), however my experience was not a pleasant one there!! read more

This place literally sucks. It has taken me over a year to write a review because of how mad it makes me every time I think of this place and my experience there. The worse part about this place was the customer service. The girl who answers the phone (I won't call her out) is the rudest person on the planet and I'm hoping has been fired in the year + since I've dealt with them. I also had a pair of sunglasses stolen from my car, which is shady AF, and I'm guessing the rude receptionist stole them. Let me start off... I don't like writing reviews. But I had to for this one... Someone hit my car. The front bumper was super damaged. I went through my insurance to get my car fixed, and they gave me several options. I decided on Premier Collision. I made three visits. The first time to fix the damage. The second time to fix the missing bumper piece. The third time for the sensor. BUT I had A LOT of issues. If you don't wanna read the whole thing, the all-caps words should be fine. A list of grievances that are NOT in chronological order: 1. FOG LIGHT WAS BROKEN: While fixing my car, they called me asking if my fog light was working before the damage, which it was. The owner told me that sometimes during repair, wiring gets crossed. They fixed it. My first thought, "sure, it was a mistake." 2. SMALL PAINT JOB WAS NOT DONE PROPERLY. The owner and I chatted and he found out that I wanted to paint the chrome trim on my headlights and rearlights. He offered to do it for free. HOLY CRAP! So nice of him. BUUUUUT when I get my car, the paint job is super botched. It's thin in some areas. The paint was all over the place and was not peeled off correctly. It was jagged everywhere. 3. HEADLIGHT TRIM WAS BROKEN. I made the complaint in regards to the workmanship of the paint job and they decided to fix it. I get the car back and the paint is pretty damn good! But they broke the headlight trim and it was super bouncy while driving. 4. BUMPER WAS MISSING A PIECE. Once I get the car back, I go to work for the day. I back into my car stall. I look back and notice that something is missing. My bumper is missing a section. I had to call a mini dealership to make sure that I wasn't going crazy. Sure enough, they did not install all the parts back to my car. 5. TEMPERATURE SENSOR WAS BROKEN. On top of that, I noticed that my temperature sensor was no longer working. I call Premier for them to fix it. They take it back for 2 days, the owner says that the sensor is working, but I will need to start driving for it to fully work. It doesn't. Had to take to dealership only to learn that PRemier installed it incorrectly. 6. DIRTY FLOOR MAT. During the same visit in which the owner told me that the sensor would work... I noticed that my floor mat was extraordinarily dirty. 7. WHITE PAINT INSIDE CAR. During the same visit in which the owner told me that the sensor would work... I noticed THERE WAS WHITE PAINT on my car seat. I made them clean it. 8. DUCT TAPE IN MY HOOD. After the same visit in which the owner told me that the sensor would work... I checked inside my hood to find a roll of yellow duct tape sitting on top of my engine and a piece of zip tie 9. MOTOR MOUNT IS STILL BROKEN. I finally convinced my insurance to let me take my car to the dealership to fix the broken temperature sensor. They did a quick assessment and found that the motor mount is still broken from the original damage 10. RIGHT WHEEL MOLD IS CRACKED. In the same assessment, they also found that the right wheel mold is still cracked from the original damage. Because of all this, my insurance agreed to let the dealership take the bumper apart to make sure everything was put back together properly. Here's my final note. I had a very bad experience with them. Reading some of these makes me think it was just a fluke. Of they made only a few mistakes with my car, I would be more forgiving.... However, they made 10 huge mistakes and probably more. I do not recommend this shop AT ALL. read more

Had minor damage on my front bumper that was estimated to take 3 days to repair. It ended up taking 2.5 weeks and they did not offer me a free rental car until I told them I did not have any rental options and was without transportation a week later. Their communication was so poor that it felt like pulling teeth having to call them almost every single day to inquire about the status of my car. They kept telling me that it should be ready by X or Y date but then would neglect to let me know otherwise. I am pretty irritated with Collision right now. After one of Geico's clients backed into me in a parking lot, both the client and I called Geico to get things squared away. Everything seemed to be on the up and up. Why wouldn't it, right? The woman on Geico's end told me that my car would be repaired by Collision within 2-3 days. She said that going with my mechanic would take longer because the paperwork would take another day or two to get things going. So, because I need my car to make $, I chose Collision. They first told me that my car would be finished in 4 days, which stretched to 5, which has now stretched to 7. If, on the 7th day they tell me that it will take longer, I will take them to court. read more

I disliked the extension of repair time, but understood is necessity. Especially regarding waiting for parts. However. After taking more time to go over my jeep - about 20 minutes - I discovered that the passenger headlight was not repaired properly. It is barely attached with some hot glue or epoxy. I also found missing hardware in my hood, especially the safety latch in the center as well as the clip for the hood stand. The driver side front fender flare, which is not OEM, does not sit flush against the body of the vehicle. I also found that both sway bars are still disconnected even after I brought that up during the initial inspection. I doubt, due to that oversight, that any of the drivetrain was looked at - this vehicle rolled, folks, it wasn't in a fender bender. The radiator wasn't checked, it has dings and chipped paint, and could be leaking. The ground wire which is supposed to be attached to the body wasn't, so I got the warning light for that in the cab and checked it out. But they did put ArmorAll on the tires, so I guess that makes everything ok? read more

I went into this place after driving by and decided to get a quote. The guy was super friendly and helpful. He gave me a good quote and the price was nice. The plan was for me to gather some more quotes and get back to them the following week.' Tuesday at 3pm I called and said that I would like to have my dents repaired with them and if I could bring it in today, but that I am in a hurry. They said yes bring it by. I asked if they could please have the rental car ready and all the paperwork so I can just be in and out. I stated that I would be there around 4-415ish after I picked the kids up from school. I arrived at 420. They had other customers. I waited until 430 to be helped. At that time the front desk girl was super rude. I asked her if the rental car was there and ready and what paperwork I needed to sign and if she wanted my Credit Card. She said no, but they had to call the rental. I asked why the rental wasn't there and she replied that no one told her when I was coming. I corrected her that I had told the sales guy. They called the rental company and it was going to be 5 minutes for the rental. No big deal. I went to the car and started getting the kids and my things out. Then the guy came back to me and said 15 min to a half an hour for the rental car cause Enterprise was busy now. I went inside and told them that this is unacceptable. She then proceeded to tell me that they had a car for me at 4 but gave it to another customer. I told her nevermind, that I wasn't going to do business with them if this is how we start out. I couldn't even imagine the miscommunications with the actual repair if this is how it is for just dropping the car off. Plus the front desk lady is super rude and unprofessional. Immediately after my car crash in January, they took care of everything with the utmost professionalism and timeliness. Their "in-house" Enterprise makes obtaining rental car services a cinch. Recently, I had a hood latch issue that the dealership had deemed crash-related (possibly to avoid fixing under my still-valid warranty?) and after an infuriating back-and-forth with the dealership, I brought it back to Premier. They immediately took it in, had a rental car waiting for me, and sent me on my way. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes, easily the most seamless auto repair experience I've ever had. Tom was my advisor at Premier and he was nothing short of absolutely amazing. He was attentive to every detail, very personable, and such a pleasure to work with. He would update me regularly throughout the process and even called to make sure that I was happy with the rental car I had received. The level of customer service Tom and Premier offered is so incredibly rare, and they do it so well. Unfortunately, I had to take my car in due to being the victim of a hit and run. Geico referred me to this place and luckily, it was close-ish to home. I picked up my car on Friday and so far everything has held up. I was pleasantly surprised how clean my car was when I got it back...it was totally detailed! The tires were even shiny! The gentleman I spoke with initially when I dropped off my car was very nice and pleasant. Not gonna lie, I was a little nervous as to how I would be treated by the employees due to other negative reviews, but I didn't experience any rudeness...however, I also didn't call to check on the status of my car because I was scared when I read that the employees were pretty snarky if you called before their car was finished. I figured it was best to just wait for their call. My only complaint - when I dropped off my car and was signing paperwork, the guy was going to have me sign a paper for a rental car. I knew I didn't have rental insurance so I mentioned that to him and he came back quickly agreeing that I didn't. I'm glad I didn't sign it...who knows how much I would have been charged. He did say that if I needed a rental, Enterprise was right there and their cheapest cars ran roughly $22/day. Well, when I called a few hours later, an Enterprise Rep told me they were $38.99/day. Needless to say, I did NOT rent from them. I understand that the gentleman did not work for Enterprise, but he shouldn't be tossing around quotes and saying that they get discounts that get passed along to their customers (me) if that is not the case. -1 star for misleading information. read more

I cannot say good enough things about Atari and his team. I was in a bad freeway accident a couple of months ago, and he took care of the repairs on my Mini Cooper. Even though my insurance agency would only cover after market parts, Atari insisted on using factory parts. He went above and beyond to make sure my car got fixed perfectly. When the work took longer then expected he even helped me with a loaner car because I didn't have car rental insurance. You can't even tell we were in an accident! When I initially dropped it off, they were attentive and quick to take care of me. I had an excellent experience here aside from the fact that I came here because my car had been damaged from a hit and run... I was referred to this location by Geico to take care of the entire driver's side door that had been hit. Soon after I arrived for my scheduled appointment, all the paperwork had been taken care of and given to me by the customer service representative. They had reserved the truck that I wanted to use during the time they were making repairs to my car and I walked out soon after arriving with confidence that I was being taken care of. Once I got my car back I found that the door had been repaired seamlessly and it looked brand new. However, there was an issue with my driver's side window controller when I got it back. It would push into the door and it was hard to get it out. I took my car back finally after nearly a year and I was greeted by one of the fantastic Customer Service Representatives that I had met when I first came, and he remembered me! I showed him the issue with the window switch and he said "No problem man, we'll get that fixed ASAP." Once the new part had arrived, he gave me a call and told me to come on by whenever was convenient. He took my car in as soon as I arrived and it was fixed within a half hour and I was on my way. Do NOT go to this place. I came here 2 years ago because the AAA tow truck guy said this is the best place in SD. I saw a couple reviewers here have similar accounts. Pretty sure it's a family member or friend getting paid under the table to give this recommendation. For the past 2 years I have had nothing but problems. They worked on the right front bumper and passenger side after I had gotten into an accident. The first month I got my car back from them I noticed a weird sound coming from the tire and I realized that the plastic part of the bumper in front of the tire had ripped off and was hitting against the tire as I was driving. I quickly called them and they said it wasn't properly screwed in when they were fixing my car. I had to drive 2 hours back to SD to get it fixed. Not too long after that I noticed that a piece of the bumper had popped off and the paint by the license plate has started to chip. I brought it in again because they assured me "lifetime warranty" when they were taking my money and the guy says that I obviously crashed my car and they won't fix it. He started pointing at imaginary dents saying he won't fix it. Now (2 years later) I noticed that huge chucks of paint are peeling off my car!! They used some cheap ass paint or failed in application. This is my first car and I am so mad at myself for not doing my research. Car battery was dead when I came to pick up the car -- cannot figure out why given that the repair was to the rear door. Dust in the interior all over leather upholstery. Kept car for nearly two weeks. Charged Geico $2300 + the rental car -- a plastic Jeep Cherokee gas guzzler. Now my Geico premium has doubled. Worst place ever. I was ripped off. To fix the bumper on a 2000 Toyota echo it was $1538. They exaggerated on the amount of hours to do the paint job (8 hours $55/hr). It's honestly a lot better to buy the parts online and get them installed somewhere cheaper. A friend of mine got his bumper fixed at the dealer and his total was $1000. As for the guy who attended us, Ryan Cromer, he was very unprofessional. It seemed as if he was losing his temper with every question I asked. He used a lot of vulgar language as well. I got rear ended on the highway and my tow truck driver took me here. I was wary of taking the suggestion figuring they probably get a kickback from wherever they take people but was too new to the area and shaken up to come up with a better idea. Ryan was sympathetic and kind and they estimated 2 weeks. It took nearly 2 months and they didn't properly match the color. I took it back twice - the 1st time because the back end was so light and they didn't blend it to the other panels it was a VERY apparent color difference between the panels. So instead of color matching the back end they blended it. Not what I wanted but I just wanted my car back at this point but THEN I noticed there was pebbling in the paint all over. They buffed it out quickly enough but I was so frustrated from having been there so many times. Its been nearly a year later and I'm still bothered that my back end is at least 5 shades lighter than the front end and I have found further pebbling AND my panel has a WIDE gap on the back end I'm sure from not being put back on properly. They will make false promises and do a horrible job on the details. DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE. read more

I just picked my car up from Premier after getting my bumper replaced and a dent fixed in my trunk. Not only did they do a great job on the repair - you would never know anything happened to my car and the paint is flawless - but their service is unparalleled. Usually getting into a collision is a huge headache regardless of how minor the damage is, but they really did an absolutely fantastic job at making it the easiest it could possibly be. I spent all of about an hour total from start to finish dealing with my accident thanks to Premier and Geico. I dropped my car off on Monday and they had a rental there waiting for me to drive away in. The whole process took about 20 mins maximum, including vehicle inspection and rental inspection/process. They called me every day with an updated estimate of when my car would be done. And today I dropped my rental back off with them and picked up my car to discover that in addition to the great repair job, THE WHOLE CAR HAD BEEN CLEANED INSIDE AND OUT!! Incredible service!! A car wash was actually on my to do list for after I picked it up but I now I don't even need to do that. They could not have made this process easier or more pleasant and their attention to service is better than I have ever received at any auto shop. Fingers crossed I don't need to bring my car in for any repairs in the future, but if I do need body work done I will 100% be back here. read more

I had a five star experience with Premier Collision Center (PCC). Unfortunately, my car fell victim to a hit and run. My insurance company, Geico, sent me to PCC. The drop off took less than 15 minutes and I was off in my rental car. PCC was very accommodating and let me keep my car at the shop for several days after the repair was complete because I was out of town. When I went to pick up my car, I noticed that there was a panel that was not fixed. They took it back, and fixed it right away even though there were multiple cars in the shop due to the crazy rainstorms and accidents in SD. My car looks as good as new! Ryan was my customer service agent and he was very approachable and made the entire process very easy. I would highly recommend PCC to anyone that is looking for a centrally located and reliable repair shop! read more
