Our (us three golfers) salads were good. Our crab cakes were very good! Our chocolate pudding pie was great. My three fingers of Makers Mark was excellent. No sauce, no cheese on top - nothing. Was very very odd indeed - more like cornbread or spoon bread with zero flavor. My husband ordered a steak and it was good, so there was some redemption there. I will say, one major restaurant pet peeve for me is when the first thing you smell when you open the door is air freshener. The bathrooms are right by the door and they have a fake cherry air freshener smell pumping out from them. So that's what you get hit with when you walk in. I don't know the solution to this type of layout, but strong air freshener isn't it.

Hushpuppies were a bit dense but the flavor was great. The Brussel sprouts in my opinion were a tab bit overly done. For entrees we were so sad that a lot of the menu and specials were sold out! But I thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp and grits ate every last bit. Very rich but the roasted tomatoes gave it great balance. Shrimp was cooked perfect. Paired perfect with the Riesling!! For dessert we had the chocolate croissant bread pudding. This is a MUST get. Beautiful, classy ambiance and great service. The honey lemon pepper wings were full of deep flavor and they give you at-least 10 wings with the plate. The steak and shrimp are the best seasoned meats I've ever had at a restaurant. I made a Southern Palmer with their Peach Tea and Unsweetened Ice Tea 1/2 & 1/2 of both mixed together, was the perfect beverage to pair with the Honor Platter.
