First off let me just acknowledge that Marylands is a staple in the east boundary community. So much so that I live in Los Angeles and I met a guy at work that lived in Augusta in the 80's and when I told him I grew up in Augusta he asked me if Marylands was still in East boundary. This is one of those no frills you know what you're getting everyone kind of places. One of the reasons they've been able to last so long is they've been putting out good product at a good price for years. I always get the 3 wing dinner with 2 sides. I typically will get their Mac and cheese and greens and although it's not a savory side my favorite is their sweet potato casserole. Having moved from Augusta years ago it's nice to come back and still be able to get something that I used to eat as a kid. It's seems like all the old mom and pop shops have been replaced by chains so it's nice to see this staple still standing strong.

The food is always hot and delicious!! I wanted a 3 wing dinner but they were low on wings and they don't sell only wing dinners when this happens. So I opted for a 3 piece dark 1thigh and 2 legs and to my surprise they added a wing. The slaw is one of a kind and the fries and biscuits were delicious as well. Looks like they forgot my biscuits but the freshness and taste of the food made me forget I didn't receive any. The restaurant is take out only so it's only standing room with a couple of chatty people waiting to get their food not too quiet but not loud. Overall a good place to grab some fried chicken and a tasty Arnold Palmer.

This is apparently a chain restaurant... however, growing up in Augusta this is more like a local small business. The best fried chicken in Augusta for many years! Their specials can't be beat $2 Tuesday for 2 pieces of chicken and a biscuit. $5 Fridays for three pieces of dark chicken, rice, and cabbage. This is our go to spot for great juicy fried chicken. Can no longer eat inside. Large menu that's changing (currently menu board is down).

First, I received the wrong meals, I ordered chicken and fries and I got chicken, yellow rice and m cabbage. I didn't look at the meals before I left and I had to drive over to Grovetown. So needless to say I'm not very happy. The chicken was we didn't even eat it. You can't get.thru on the phone. So today is 02/23/24

As a traveling food blogger for A Pinch of Butter fried chicken is something I try to experience in every city and I must say it takes quite a bit to make me write a review on chicken but everyone who may be reading this I found a place that not only provides delicious food but has amazing prices. I got a complete meal of 9 pieces of Chicken, Biscuits, Baked Mac n Cheese, Potato Salad for a great price. They have something called the pulley I didn't get one on this trip but I will definitely be back in the near future.

    Awesome food!

This was some of the best chicken and fish I have had in Georgia. Passing through and I will definitely stop again. Great customer service and fast food delivery service.

If you order in advance, don't expect them to keep their word on the promised time. I was still waiting 45 mins on a 10 min promise. As far as the food, I ordered catfish. I should have gone to Captain D's ---- the fish is the same!!!

I was greeted right away when I walked in, took a look at the menu, and planned on getting a pizza. Then I noticed they had Birria Ravioli on the menu -- that definitely caught my attention, so I had to give it a try. The food was really good. The pizza didn't have a heavy amount of sauce. You could see it if you looked for it -- some people might say it could use more, others might say it was just enough. I personally didn't have any complaints, but I am curious what it would taste like with just a little more sauce, just to compare. The Birria Ravioli was impressive. Really flavorful and something different from the usual Italian menu items -- I'm glad I tried it.

If you've never been there, they will start you out with samples of all of their lemonade (which all of them are incredibly flavorful) and you'll inevitably get one because it's THAT good. Now to the food, 10/10 I could not recommend them enough. I've had the honey lemon pepper wings and the loyalty platter. And it was so good. The honey lemon pepper wings were full of deep flavor and they give you at-least 10 wings with the plate. The steak and shrimp are the best seasoned meats I've ever had at a restaurant. I've also had a few nibbles of their seafood and ‍. Then when you're ready for dessert, don't worry you get samples too. The blue velvet is my favorite but all of them are award winning so you can't go wrong when it comes to Nattas sweet treats. Over all, great experience, great people, and great place. They have a valet system, so no worries about parking. Staff have been very professional and friendly, so 5/5 stars for that. I ordered the 8oz filet mignon, medium rare. Steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly! It came with asparagus and mashed potatoes covered in a crispy layer of batter, which all complimented the steak well. I tried their tuna tartare, which had an interesting take on what the tuna was served on. I've always been used to tuna tartare being accommodated with bread, but this was sushi rice compacted and covered in some light batter. Felt like I was eating tuna sushi. Apply some of the sauces it comes with and seriously was fantastic. I also got to try 4oz of their Japanese A5 Wagyu. Super expensive; $80 dollars for four ounces, but worth the experience. You cook the thin pieces over a hot stone and apply some of the seasonings like salt it comes with. I cooked each side for about 30 seconds, sprinkled some salt, and it melted in my mouth! I ended my meal with their carrot cake and it was moist, not overly sweet, and had a great savory taste. I really enjoyed my time here and certainly will be back again. There is a bar and at the back of the restaurant, you can see the baseball field. Restrooms were clean, but only one stall from what I've seen in the men's room. Overall 5/5 steak house experience.
