I first went to see Marisa when a salon in Concord destroyed the color of my hair. She did a great job fixing the color and gave me a great cut. The looks of the building do not concern me, the hair does. I've been going to her for almost 5 years now and am not thinking of changing. I've been to the best in Boston and Newton, got really tired of spending 300.00 or more for what she does at over half of their price. The prices aren't bad and Marisa is great. read more

I've seen Lydia from Touché for over 7 years - she's AMAZING- I'll never let anyone else cut or color my hair. The first time I saw Lydia my hair was burnt from over coloring with blonde highlights by another hairdresser. In one visit she revived my horrible hair! I have natural darker red hair. Lydia is true artist - I let her pick the coloring- balayage/ highlights or full color- and I am THRILLED every time she works her magic! Highly recommend Lydia at Touché ! read more

I don't usually write reviews, but Touche is such a great place I thought it was time. Not only does Marissa do an amazing job on my hair, but she's also a really wonderful person to talk to. She is a true professional, and if you are not happy with the color or cut (which almost never happens!) she will work with until its absolutely perfect. I go to her for highlights, and she does such a great job every time. She blends the color perfectly, and my hair looks really, really great. I can't recommend Touche enough. This is truly the most beautiful salon in the area. The owner, Marisa, is a 5 star colorist and treats all of her customers with such grace . The coffee is even served on fine china I have been a customer since they opened and my hair just keeps getting better. I recently moved to the area from out of state several months ago and have been dying to get a new hairstylist. For anyone who knows what its like giving up your old stylist and trusting your hair to someone new, its very stressful. I searched online and saw all these awesome reviews for Touche and was able to get a same day appointment! I have to say, Marissa is fantastic. She chose a color that I absolutely love and cut my hair to my liking. She styled with this awesome tool that I cannot wait to go back and buy. She's also very friendly and confident in her work. You can tell she loves her profession. I also got my eyelashes tinted by their aesthetician and I am so excited about not having to wear mascara for a month! Although everyone here was really nice, I was not impressed. I heard from a friend about great deals that they were having on hair straightening. I figured $65 was too good to be true! I went in for a consultation to find out more about it before doing anything. I point blank asked if it was a condititioning or if it was straightening, I was told the only difference between the Keratin straightening and this one was that this was all natural and even better for your hair. So, I made an appointment. I went back and (after waiting 15 minutes from when my appointment should have been) was sat down to get my hair washed. I was not offered another to cover with and I ended up with water down my front and back of my shirt. I complained and all I got was a short "sorry". Once it was all done and I was in the chair to get my hair dryed and straightened, I was told by the same hair dresser whom I had had my consultation with that, "to remember that this is a condititioning treatment, you'll still have to straighten your hair most days". I looked at her and told her I had asked her that 2 days before and she said "no I wouldn't have said that". She kept telling me to cover my ears because she was afraid she'd burn me with the hot iron. She didn't listen to me when I said I wanted it curled straight and not with a flip at the end. Once it was all said and done, I left. I went in on a Thursday and didn't wash my hair for 48 hours (I was told I could wash it the next day but had read all other straightenings that I couldn't for a few days). I almost cried when I got out of the shower! My hair looked exactly like it did whenever I took a shower before! If it did anything, it got rid of the frizz a little bi! I went back in the next day on my lunch break and all I got was "everyone's hair reacts differently to it", no help or anything even after I explained everything to them! I had to spend $65 for nothing even after I point blank asked a question that would have answered any questions I had. I will not go back again! read more

I was visiting my aunt for a leisurely day off when i decided to treat myself to a professional hair makeover. This was due in part to my quickie box coloring that i had haphazardly decided to apply. This mirroring the seemingly endless winter. But now it seemed that spring was in deed close at hand and the color that had momentarily seemed appropriate was now a mere blah to the approaching joy of Spring. This having been decided, i went about calling local salons in the Acton area. The first few recommended places were booked. I then called Touche Hair Salon. I was told they had a cancellation and thus an opening for me. I was overjoyed seeing from reviews that i had a warm environment, a cozy cup of tea and a cookie in addition to the hair to look forward to. So i gingerly ran out to the car in the pouring rain with my hand written directions firmly grasped in hand and embarked on my journey. I got a little lost and called saying I was really close but needed some directions. The voice on the other end was perturbed that I was not from Acton and didn't know how to get to the salon. She further said it was too late, and she obviously was done with her day and didn't care to bother with someone who had the audacity to be from out of town and not find their own way. On top of that she hung up on me. I went back to my aunt's house with dampened spirits of which the weather was not fully to blame.
