After getting 12 tubes of blood drawn ( yup, not a typo) we stopped at Toulas because I had heard they started serving breakfast. Great decision! Everything cooked to order. My husband had the Greek omelet with gyro meat and pita bread and I had the traditional breakfast., Perfectly cooked with the potatoes being a carb fiend's delight. Crunchy on the outside and pillowy soft inside. If you haven't been, it's a small place with delicious Greek food. Now they have real silverware and plates!! It's a win win! Prices very reasonable as well. And you won't be late for work.

Walked over from a nearby hotel to grab a quick and casual lunch. Service was very friendly and our food arrived quickly. The prices seemed fair and the portions were very large. I went with the Greek Gyro and a side of Santorini Fries. The amount of lettuce and tomato was a tad too much which didn't seem traditional but it was pretty good. The fries were crispy and the cheese/oregano added an extra layer which was great. I would suggest some olive oil or something on the fries to tie it all together like some other Greek places do. It is awkward when they ask you if you'd like to tip at the counter rather than turning the screen to you! We would definitely come back again.

Toula is a good place for quick, casual and delicious Greek food. We went for lunch and the place is packed. We waited a few minutes before a table is available. We tried the Toula's Chicken Wrap with a Greek salad. The wrap was delicious and the salad was fresh with lettuce, cucumbers, tomato slice, olive, onion, green peppers and grape leaf. The presentation is beautiful, feta cheese and vinaigrette dressing made this wonderful salad. The Chicken wrap was well prepared with the right amount of chicken with seasoning. We have a burger with pickle and fries. The comment was "very good burger here!" One regret, I forgot to order fried feta cheese with honey. This place will make you come back for more gyro, and falafel. Good yummy Greek food and the price is reasonable! By the way, there are outside tables in the back!

Like not love. Not love by a long shot. I enjoyed what I ate. The spanakopita was indeed fresh and homemade. Not real flaky. A bit flat and oily. But good. The village salad I had with was also fresh, although very modest in size. That said, there is an uncomfortable fast food service vibe which sits uneasily with the Greek hospitality culture. The food came to my table, but the cutlery? Over by the soda machine. You go get. Also no Greek coffee. The smell on the way to the bathroom indicated a significant plumbing problem. Toula's is in a great neighbor with trendy stores near by in Punta Gorda. Staff is polite friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and self serve.The food was price right and plentiful but most of all it was fresh and delicious . Ten thumbs up. I hope to be back one day soon. read more

had lunch here on Saturday, have been by the place many times and wanted to try it out. We went the chicken pita and gyro pita and we were glad we did. Both sandwiches were good, plenty of meat and flavor. we also had poutine fries with them and truly enjoyed them. Staff was very nice and place was very clean. read more

This place was pretty good. I got the platter with falafel. I also got the fried feta, which I have never even heard of before. Salty sweet goodness. The falafel was just the right amount of crispy. The only thing I can really complain about is that I was given only one Kalmata olive on my salad. My friend who had gotten the same thing had way more than me. Toula's is as good as it gets for some quick, casual, delicious Greek food. Five of us went for lunch on Wednesday, and it was great. We tried everything; wraps, salads, sandwiches, spanakopita, and they were all delicious with that yummy Greek flavor. The prices are reasonable, and they'll customize your dish for you if you ask. Everything was fresh and of good quality. The salads were beautiful. The Santorini fries were a hit as well with just the right amount of seasoning and feta. The place definitely has a lunch rush with lots of people dining in and carrying out. Now I know why. read more

We stopped by for lunch while visiting the Punta Grorda area. We love a good gyro and have high standards. Their gyro met this standard. Three of us got gyro and fries, one with Santarini fries (with feta) and I got the Greek Salad with Gyro. It was a nice surprise that is came with dolmadas as well. Their gyro meat was tasty and juicy and the feta was really well seasoned and creamy! We were very happy with this stop on a whim! read more

They refuse to fill the entire order/ meaning drinks for delivery drivers! She yells and humiliated a Driver in front of customers and workers! She/ the owner/ is responsible by Delivery apps and the Health Department to fill the drinks and have the order ready and sealed bags and drink carriers! Delivery Drivers are exactly that, the DELIVER! The restaurants are responsible to fill the orders completely! She was so rude, she yelled at the girl and slammed the empty cups on the counter and said. " You Grubhub.. you fill the drinks" Unreal! read more

Found this spot on Yelp that was literally down the street from my hotel. Here for business and ended up eating here a few times to try different items. Initially I had the chicken pita (my favorite) the sauce was delicious , chicken seasoned just right. It comes with one side but I got two salad and fries. Super yummy!! Went back for toula's platter that came with spanakopita, salad, pita bread, and choice of protein. I got chicken ( what can I say I love chicken). I love spanakopita and it was delicious, anther trip I got the chicken wrap so basically I tried all of their chicken dishes. Super yummy food, definitely check them out. read more

Our third attempt to find a quick bite after visiting two places that were actually closed (not sure if it's due to COVID or not). I got a chicken bacon ranch wrap and it had just the right amount of sauce on it. The boyfriend got a chicken pita sandwich and added fries and a drink for just an additional $3.00. Very reasonably priced lunch menu. I enjoyed the takeout Gyro with regular fries. It was tasty with all the fixings. For these than $8, you get an enjoyable lunch with a large order of fries. I skip the cheese fries as an add on as they do not put enough cheese in it. read more

Wow! First time here and it won't be our last. I just wish we lived closer to this little gem of a restaurant. Great greek salad with the best tasting greek dressing I have tasted in Florida yet. Very generous portion for only $6.50 and only $2.50 more for gyro meat or grilled chicken. Nice variety of selections on the menu. Very good Gyro meat! Fresh food and great value! Excellent gyro!! Prices are extremely reasonable. Very friendly. We will keep going back as Toula's is now at the top of our list. Downgrading our prior rating based on pricing issues. Beware that on some selections, the "combo " price is much more than the ala carte pricing. I ordered the two plain hot dog combo which the menu states as $5.95. However, they added a surcharge of $3.00 to cover the fries and drink. I tried to point out that if I ordered these items separately, the total cost would be $7.50 (2 dogs for $3, drink $2, and fries $2.50). They first blamed the cash register. Then the boss was blamed. Then the blame was directed at the "old" menu which was still displayed. Not sure if this is "bait and switch." read more

Amazing food. Polite staff. But why are they requiring us to choose from a 15%, 18%, or 20% tip when there's already a tip jar at the counter? Why require any tip at all when it's a take-away order? Customers need to be warned ahead of time instead of being ambushed with it. read more

Small shop on Marion street in Punta Gorda. Food is very good- we had gyros, dolmades (the grape leaf is a little thick but prob more authentic) fries (I loved my husband just liked- thick cut and seasoned) hummus thick and creamy. Definitely will be back Easy to park on the street read more

(Sub total $47.16, plus tax , and $9.43 tip.) I pulled out the subs when he got home. There were 4. I ordered 3. The BLT and Chicken Ranch BLT were the only things even CLOSE to being right, but just a sprinkling of lettuce on the BLT, and no added pickles to the Chicken Ranch BLT, and really, really MESSY subs. They're usually really nice looking, t.v. commercial -grade. The Tamiami Turkey wasn't made at all. AND they made an Italian and a Ham Turkey Club that I didn't order. I called to rectify the situation, but they closed early. I left a message stating my disappointment, then left my name and number and asked for a return call. I didn't receive one. That was 6 days ago. I suppose they won't be seeing us in the future. That's too bad. We thought we had found something good, but once the owners, themselves didn't want to follow through, we decided to stop patronizing them.

We also had chips on the side And that added to making the sandwich a perfect lunch combo. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because parking is extremely limited and in the back. If you don't know this deli, you wouldn't know where parking is but if you drive around the back, you'll see a very small parking lot and an entry into the deli. Staff is friendly and super helpful if you're not sure what to get. The place was crowded at lunchtime on a weekday with plenty of regulars, they know a good thing when they taste it. I'm looking forward to coming back into town to try something different since the menu was so vast it just means I have to come back again and again.

Now the wife ordered the Nevermind Pressed Burger with extra cheese and black coffee steak sauce. NEVERMIND?? More like Never mind my diet! One bite then another then another and suddenly her plate looked like the dishwasher had already been there. The burger was cooked perfectly, juicy, cheesy, and that steak sauce should be illegal in at least 12 states. Meanwhile, I ordered the 10 oz. I got dressed up and walked over there. My table was ready on time; it was in the lounge area of the restaurant. They offered me the table or said I could sit at the bar. I opted to sit at the bar. The bar was almost full but people were leaving. Apparently people eat early there. The bartender was swamped but smiled and got me a glass of water. Soon I had menus. I like that they have a regular menu as well as a specials menu, including the usual cocktails and some special cocktails. I ordered the conquest, which seemed like a twist on an old fashioned. They offered bread or focaccia bread, I declined. And heads up- bread service is not included. It's an up charge. Normally I don't care but I was having dessert, not bread. I had the halibut special. It was phenomenal. One of the guys from the kitchen dropped it off and asked if I needed anything'- I replied salt. I find that I need salt often at restaurants. They brought the salt out real fast! I had a bite and determined it didn't need any more salt- it was perfectly salted! Woohoo! Fantastic. I ate my whole dish and then I savored my cocktail. The bartender wasn't much for conversation , as she was very busy, alone, covering the entire bar and drinks for the whole restaurant. She did invite me to try dessert, and mentioned a coconut cream cake that was not on the menu. I agreed to it and it was heavenly. Seemed like cheesecake icing with fluffy layers of cake and subtle coconut flakes throughout. The chocolate ice cream was weird at first but then I realized it's like almond joy/ mounds - coconut and chocolate are often paired. The espresso crumble gave it a nice crunch and there was caramel all over the plate. Wow! I took the majority of the cake home. It was a large portion and indulgent. I paid my tab and finished my drink. I was not rushed. I would go back again. It's a bit pricey. The fish special was $58. The cocktail was $17 and the dessert was $16. So one person, who did not add on the bread service, was $91. It's expensive. I would emphasize you can probably get a seat at the bar if you can't get a reservation. Also- the entrance is hard to find. It's in the parking lot and not facing the main road. I got a little lost walking there. The signage is poor. I can't imagine going there the first time in the dark. So give yourself a couple extra minutes if it's your first time going there.

I have dined in at this restaurant on a few occasions and have been very pleased with the service and food. The only complaint would be the lack of seating as it is a small store front. This is truly a compliment to them anyway, that all the seats are filled. Today I ordered and had it delivered to my work. I will say that my work is located nearby the restaurant, however, the time I placed the call for my order was 11:09am, it was delivered to me by 11:25am. It's easy to give this place a five star rating. It's clean and smells good, and the food was amazingly fresh and delicious. It's right in downtown Punta Gorda. But I am so pleased with was the generous portion. It's nice to get a turkey wrap with more than two slices of turkey. And having lived in Detroit where they have a great town in New York New Jersey where there's quick diners everywhere, I can tell you this place deserves it's five star rating. Excellent food and very nice atmosphere. I was between appointments on a Saturday and the place was jampacked. They recommended sitting at the bar which I did and I told the barmaid that I would be in a hurry. She said no problem and I had the yellow tail With some type of hollandaise sauce. Came here for an authentic Gyro since well it's a Greek place. Well dissatisfied is an understatement. The gas station down the street run by Indians has better Gyros. These ppl can barely make hot dogs. Save your money. Go next door to Italia or River City grill or even the dumpy Blue turtle is better. read more
