I could not be possibly more pleased with Tour del Vino. Sue is outstanding and despite several changes she helped us organize a most incredible day. She is very knowledgeable about the area etc. Since not all on group chose to wine taste, Sue recommended just paying for driver and van, that worked out very well. Our driver Janann was right on time, in fact early. The beautiful white Suburban was so comfy and there were water bottles everywhere. We cannot give this company enough accolades. Our family was planning a trip from Anaheim down to San Diego with a stop in Temecula for the wineries and hot air balloon rides along the way. Since we flew into Los Angeles, I was looking for a company that would be willing to pick us up at Disneyland and drive us to Temecula for a day of wine tours and then drop off at a local hotel later in the afternoon. We were also looking for an above average experience with the wine tours. After searching the internet, we found Tour Del Vino and came in contact with Sue. She is amazing and was instantly receptive to our plan. After asking questions about our likes and wants, she created a plan that was diverse in scope. One included a golf cart tour of the winery with tastings during the tour. The next included an outdoor lunch while sampling their selections. The third was outdoor overlooking their winery accompanied by a charcuterie. Our guide for the day, Rich, took pictures with his phone throughout the experience and sent them to us when done. Great option for wine tasting in Temecula. I bought a tour for my daughter a couple of years ago and then received a gift cert from my family. Because of Covid and timing issues I wasn't able to use the cert until this last weekend. Sue graciously honored the gift cert even though prices had gone up. Jody picked us up in a large, white, comfortable and immaculate Suburban, just for two of us. Jody was wonderful, friendly and professional. She took pictures and went in with us to make sure we were taken care of. The tour included wine tastings. We went to 3 wineries and they were all beautiful and had delicious wine. I am a member of 3 wineries here so it was great to get a variety and try new places. I loved them all and they were selected by Sue. Akash (also has beer and is open 7 days a week), Altisima (less than a year old with a restaurant attached, very busy so food must be good) , and Raul Ramirez (great views, horses, and has a comfy home feeling, very pretty and a little off the beaten path). Really good pizza at Akash too, we had a delicious margarita pizza. It was a wonderful day. I recommend Tour de Vino for large or small groups. They're not cheap, but they are worth the extra $$ for a customized, high level of customer service experience. The combo of the tour and beautiful wineries was a winner!! read more

An overdue review for an AMAZING day planned and guided by Sue. I reached out to her for my mom's 21st ( x3 ) bday and Sue really outdid herself with the planning! I was so busy with work the week prior and was worried if I'd be able to pull something off for my mom but Sue did all the work and really customizes the tour to your liking/interests. My mom really enjoyed her time, to say the least. Sue was also the one taking us around that day to the 3 wineries and she made us feel so comfortable and things went smoothly. Even the little things like taking photos for us to always making sure we didn't forget anything. She lets you do your own thing at the wineries but checks in on you. Also my group of 5 was on a good one and Sue's the complete opposite of a buzzkill lol. We will be back in the future and only go through Tour del Vino, no doubt. read more

Came to Temecula for a girls getaway with my best friend and my sister-in-law. We saw the amazing reviews about Tour del Vino and decided to try it out. Sue, our tour guide, was absolutely incredible. We opted for a private tour and Sue took us to three beautiful wineries... Avensole, Altisima, and Lorenzi. She had a nice plush roomy SUV with bottles of water at the ready. She was personable and told us a little bit about each winery as we went. Avensole was our first stop. We sat in a cozy area in very comfortable living room style chairs. The gentleman who served us the various wines was very knowledgeable and suggestive as to what wines each of us would enjoy based on our critiques. Loved that! Sue would then appear seemingly out of nowhere letting us know it was time to head to the next winery. So we made our way to Altisima and had a delicious lunch at their restaurant. When we arrived, she checked us in at the front desk. After we got seated, it was a little chilly so she made sure one of the wait staff moved an outdoor heater closer to our table. We enjoyed trying each of their wines during lunch. The views were amazing and very relaxing. Our final stop was Lorenzi. O...M...G! If I thought the first two were incredible, this winery was in its own stratosphere. Small, intimate, and therefore closed to larger bus groups, this winery was the crown jewel of our visit. We were lucky to meet the owners, Don and Brenda Lorenzi. Very salt of the earth people who have a beautiful story to tell about how their winery came to be. Not one of their wines was "bitey". As a matter of fact, Don said that would be a good slogan for the winery, "We don't bite". SO true! The outside seating was beautiful looking out over their vineyards and the live music leant to the overall peaceful relaxed environment. We had an incredible experience with Tour del Vino. Sue arranged a customized tour for my 23 and 21 year old kids and my retired parents and me. The black car service was so special! We started at Falkner and walked into a gorgeous room with beautiful glasses and chartueire and a handsome wine connoisseur. We learned a lot and had a behind the scenes tour.
