Unfortunately, I would actually recommend AGAINST using them for your next purchase.

Phil also owns Janzen Farms, LLC. Phil also claimed to be a good church going person and this car was going to go to the minister's daughter but she chose something else. I think it was all lies. How can you steal $1650 from a 20 year old girl who is trying to get the first car. And when I asked about the drips I was noticing off the radiator area he claimed his daughters just got done washing it. The car worked until we got out of town and on our way back to Beaverton. My wife and I saw a two-piece band setting up for their performance through the window, and decided to pop in for a glass (or two) and some live entertainment. We were warmly welcomed into this classy (seeminly family run) little space, ordered a chardonnay (I didn't catch the name), Rose of Tempranillo (which my wife liked so much, she ordered one for herself afterward), and the Gewurstraminer (which ended up being my favorite). All the while, we were engaged and entertained by the two members of the band, who were amused by our toddler's sons utter fascination with them and their music. Big thanks to both of them, and the owners of Pinot Vista, for allowing and taking pleasure in our son's wanderings and exploration! He was enraptured! Such a relaxing environment, couple with some wonderful wine, beautiful music, and spending time with family without any responsibilities or expectations, is the perfect way to spend a Saturday evening, and I can't imagine many better places in McMinnville than here at Pinot Vista! We will definitely be back, the next time we find ourselves in town.

Fortunately we went on a perfectly sunny day. The wines were amazing, and the sommelier pouring for us was very knowledgable and entertaining. I didn't even really know wines could be made certified organic, but I guess that makes sense, just extra work on the vineyard to maintain it. I particularly loved some of the wines on their other label, Haden Fig. It was a perfect afternoon, made even more memorable by the gorgeous pair of horses they had in their field, Gypsy horses I believe. They have a stellar selection of both reds and whites. I opted for their standard tasting, which just scratches the surface of the wines that are available from this great, boutique winery. Don't get me wrong, I love the big boys, too, but there is something extra special about going to a smaller winery and enjoying a fantastic wine in an atmosphere that is more intimate. It's like finding a hidden gem next to another gem! What a treat! I was served by Becky, who was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. When I left, I bought a bottle of wine, but since it's a boutique winery and I didn't know if they'd have this other bottle I wanted, I opted for both, which is rare for me (unless I need to purchase 2 bottles to waive the tasting fee).

My sister and i were on a wine tasting trip to the Willamette Valley and put Domaine Serene on our…read morelist because of all the reviews and recommendations. We also wanted a place that offered tastings of white wines since Pinot is not our favorite. We arrived without a reservation. Mind you, this place is HUGE! There are numerous rooms that were completely empty. The main tasting room had probably 5 tables occupied, so it was not crowded. We didn't make a reservation because we went to another winery first, which was a 90 minute tasting, and then had lunch afterwards. Domaine was our second stop, but we didn't want to guess at a time we'd arrive with our driver. The host was kind enough and sat us at a low table that I requested. It took about 10 minutes before anyone came to our table to pour some tastes. While we waited, my sister walked over towards the bar area and overheard two of the wine servers say "it's okay, they're just a walk-in." Really? Maybe we were a walk-in with a thousand dollars to spend! Our pourer was accommodating to our taste for white wine and created a tasting for us. We also ordered a half serving of oysters to pair with our wines. After our first taste, the guy came back and poured us three tastes of three of the same varietal and left the bottles on our table. We waited over 30 minutes for him to come back! In that time, we took it upon ourselves to refill our glasses, and not one person came to see if we were okay or if we were done with our oysters. Finally, after that long wait, we got to taste two more whites. The tasting was $60 each, but if you bought wine totaling $120, they waived the fees. Only because of that, I ordered two bottles. That, along with the oysters got us to the minimum, so our tastings ended up no charge. Good thing! I would have been very vocal if I had paid that much to be completely ignored! All in all, their wines were decent enough, but I'll never go back or order from them again.
