I was doing much better after just one lesson, but even better after the second, and now after my third, I really feel confident I can do this! Explaining why know I can do this! I can't explain why or how... but his determination and confidence in what I can do made me believe I could too. He made changes to my stance and grip and showed me why and how the small adjustments make a big difference . I don't know which one of us gets more excited when I hit a shot in the air and down the middle , but it's awesome !

He, unfortunately, had to have unexpected life-threatening surgery and was out of commission for a bit due to this. I reached out to RJ this week since he was the instructor listed on the gift certificate to see when we can schedule golf lessons and then I received a call from Gil asking why I was reaching out to RJ and what he had to do with any of this. He hardly gave me a chance to speak and then he said that the gift certificate is expired and that RJ and Gil have retired. He didn't even give me a chance to explain what had happened or suggest whether there was anyone else that could provide the lessons. He then hung up in a hurry stating the certificate is expired and that he only provided service from November - April anyway. Maybe in upcoming November he can do something for us is what he suggested. Very poor, disappointing service. He seemed to have enough time on his hands last May when it came to accepting my $210 for the gift certificate. If he was kind, empathetic, and allowed me a moment to speak, I would understand his point. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I hope the rest of the golf community is not as cut-throat as this group.

I think it's fair to say that Golf-Tec is not cheap but I think the facility, swing analysis and coaching I got to improve were a clear value. So yeah, I signed up for their big lesson, fitting, etc package (also not cheap) and got myself scheduled out. Lesson package was very flexible IMO and I can share my lessons with my son who is just starting out. I've been back since and my previous tweak was still holding and we added another one that was harder but I was able to accomplish. Combined I was pushing my 7-iron a solid 15-30 yards longer, consistently. I also practiced on their simulators after my lesson and that was fun too. All the staff I've met are great so far. My son and I attended their four day school and it was beyond any of our expectations. I have played golf for the past 15+ years and my son played a bit when he was younger, but he has not picked up a club for at least ten years. They have a max 4:1 student:instructor ratio, which gives the pros plenty of time to give each student the attention they need. My son just wanted to be able to play with friends and clients and not shank it off the tee. In four days, he only had one errant tee shot and, by the end of class, he was hitting 220+ off the tee, and straight! Both of our short games improved dramatically over the four day school. My goals were to get another 10-15 yards off the tee and to improve my short game, both of which I accomplished, and more. The pace is perfect, with four hours of instruction each morning and then a tee time to play every afternoon. The instructors took a sincere interest in each one of us in our group and the entire experience was well beyond both of our expectations. Also, when I went to sign up, I had a lot of questions and spoke with Scott on the phone. He spent a lot of time with me and left nothing unanswered. If you are looking for a fun and productive golf school, this is the one for you. As soon as I walked in, I realized it's Dick's Sporting Goods clearance center. The store was huge and had a ton of merchandise. I immediately went to the women's clothing section and I was in heaven! I found a bunch of high end beautiful golf apparel that they also sell at retail prices at their competitor's sporting goods store. The prices were pretty good but if you found a 5 on the ticket, you got an additional 50% off. If you found a 6, it was an additional 30% off! I ended up getting 6 beautiful items for only $131! I did my calculation and it would've cost me $454 if I had paid retail. Deals on top of deals! Major score, made me very happy:) So glad I found this store and extremely happy with my purchase. I definitely will be back very soon!
