Finally, an actual ice cream shop in Burke! This cute little business offers a wide variety of ice cream flavors and options. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and it's incredibly kid-friendly. The ice cream is rich, creamy, and delicious--I think my kids and best friend sampled nearly every flavor on the menu before making their selections. We each ordered a waffle cone with a single scoop and happily devoured every bite. Both of my kids chose vanilla, my best friend got peach, and I went with the Holstein. While the portion sizes may seem small compared to some chain ice cream shops, I found them perfectly satisfying. American portion sizes are often overinflated, and Moo Thru does a great job filling their waffle cones with high-quality ice cream. If you're still hungry, you can always add an extra scoop or order a banana split. The pricing is very reasonable and won't break the bank. A special shout-out to Maggie for being so patient while our group took forever to decide what we wanted! My *only* critique is that the coffee ice cream could use a stronger coffee flavor. Other than that, this is a must-visit spot, and we'll definitely be back.

Happy to see an ice cream place open in Burke! It was very busy when we went but the line moved quickly. We ordered the banana split and it was pretty good and allowed us to pick three flavors and toppings. The banana pudding ice cream and cookies and cream ice cream were both pretty good but the butter pecan was way too sweet for our liking. Excited to try more from them in the future. Overall solid spot.

The staff was very welcoming when we walked in. There are so many options to choose from. From their standard hand scooped flavors, seasonal flavors, milkshakes, floats, soft serve, and sundaes. They had a new "moo crew mash-up" milkshake today which I wish I tried but i ended up getting one of their seasonal flavors, banana pudding. Our orders come out fast and the small size was good enough for me. The seating area was huge and it was bigger than their Herndon location. We drove 40 minutes away and it was worth it!

The toppings bar is definitely a highlight too, tons of choices from fresh fruit to candies to sauces, and everything looked well-stocked and fresh. When we got there, we were told they weren't serving crepes anymore, so I almost left. We stayed since I was with friends and it was one of their first times here. Later, I saw someone order a crepe and was told they were only not doing the gelato crepes. They mentioned they had two other orders to make and could make a plain crepe with the gelato on the side instead. If they were still making savory crepes, I'm not sure what the difference was. I didn't even realize my friend had ordered the chicken savory crepe, so I would've been totally fine waiting for a gelato crepe as well. The froyo was okay, but the strawberry cheesecake gelato didn't have much strawberry flavor and we ended up throwing about half of the medium cup away. Our friend also thought the chicken savory crepe could've used a little more seasoning. Not a huge deal, but overall it was just a letdown, especially since it was my first time bringing our friend here and I had told them how much I loved this place.

I also tried the Apple Pie and Thai Ice Tea flavors. The Thai Ice Tea wasn't overly sweet, which I loved and you could really taste the thai tea flavor. The apple pie tasted exactly like an apple pie, just creamier in an ice cream form. Everything was so good, and the whole experience was great. Their 3D mousse desserts are some of the best I have ever had, and the loaded bingsu makes Shilla a must-visit in Annandale. Shilla has been a neighborhood staple for years, offering everything from cakes and breads to bing-su and beverages. I have had many of their cakes for celebrations and birthdays, they always hit. While they nail the classics, they also continue to impress with creative desserts that feel fresh and refined. The interior has plenty of seating, clean, and cute paintings on the walls to set the mood. Despite the busy crowds, service was quick and welcoming. We came specifically for the 3D mousse desserts, and they exceeded expectations. My favorites were the Sleeping Bear, Avocado, and Banana. The avocado mousse was surprisingly nutty and paired perfectly with the banana jam filling, creating a balanced dessert that wasn't overly sweet. The Chocolate Bear was equally smooth and creamy, and even the buttery cookie base was delicious. The strawberry bingsu was generously topped with condensed milk and large, chewy pieces of rice cake, making it the perfect dessert to share. Shilla remains Annandale's staple bakery and a gem.

It's big and fluffy with chewy moist mocha flavored dough and a crispy sugary coating on the outside that's to die for. It's still light and fluffy at the same time. Yum! Soricha really surprised me with the quality! You can tell they're passionate about their craft, as every item feels thoughtfully prepared. I also loved the cute shelf featuring their personal collection of teacups, which added a nice touch to the space. They also had cute art around. The bingsu is definitely shareable, both of the bingsuus we got were rich in flavor and came with generous toppings. The sparkling coffee, however, wasn't quite as sparkly as I expected The injeolmi latte was a little disappointing because it doesn't come with espresso, which I didn't realize when ordering. I ended up paying an additional $2.20 for espresso. That said, I would recommend adding it because it really helped round out the drink. The server was quick to bring it out after I asked about the lack of coffee. My biggest hesitation is the price. The iced latte came out to around $12 after tax and tip, so I'll probably only come back occasionally. Still, the unique flavor combinations and overall quality might be enough to bring me back for another treat.
